Our story was #698 in fanfiction, 3 years ago and i was so happy.

And now we're here, where our book almost is about to hit a million Alhumdulillah, so much nostalgia <3

This is after I've started editing, so don't get confused.

The next morning everyone woke up with a heavy head. Some due to crying continuously and some due to drinking litmitlessly.

Here in Murthy house , Nandini woke up with red eyes after an hour of uncomfortable sleep that she managed to get.

She sat on the bed and started reminiscing yesterday's worst memories. She got out of the bed and after freshening up.
She went downstairs, to talk with chacha and chacha about her decision. After seeing Nandini, Chachi asked

" Areyyy Nandini , how's my baby this morning? "

" This morning i woke up more stronger chachi, don't worry "
Replied Nandini with her teetj gritting against each other, chavha and chachi knew something was off about Nandini but they decided to talk about it after breakfast.

She went and sat on the dining table chair.

" Chacha chachi mujhe aapse kuch baat karni thi "

" Haan Nandini kya baat karni thi baccha? " asked chacha very politely.

After gaining lot of strength and praying to aiyappa, Nandini finally started speaking

" Chacha, Chachi mujhe Manglore wapis jana hai " listening to this Chacha and chachi were shocked.

Chachi instantly asked
" Beta aise kyu bol rahi hai? Kya hum tujhe khush nahi rakh pa rahe hai?Kuch kami reh gayi hai kya hamare pyaar me? bol na? "
Chachi got worked up very soon.

" Nahi nahi chachi, aap galat samaj rahe ho.Balki aap dono ne toh mujhe maa baap ki tarah pyaar kiya hai "
replied Nandini.

" Toh phir? Problem kya hai? " asked Chacha, who looked extremely worried.

" Wo, wo mujhe Amms ki bohot yaad aati hai, isilye mai manglore jana chahti hu. Wo bhi toh waha akeli rehti haina. she knew she was lieing. She used to miss amms alot. But today, the reason for returning back to manglore was different. We know what the reason is right?

"Please Chacha Chachi " pleaded Nandini

Chacha Chachi sighed helplessly, chachi questioned.

" aur Rishab? Rishu ka toh treatment chal raha hai na?."

" Rishu yahi par hi rahega. Jab treatment khatam hoga toh woh manglore aa sakta hai." She knew she was acting selfish, but what would she have done? She cannot take rishab along with her due to his treatment.

"Aur college? "

" Main Manglore mein amms se classes le lungi, Music ki "
She was well prepared, when she stepped out of her room.

" Tujhe jane dene ka toh man nahi ho raha hai, par ab tera point of view bhi sahi hai "
said chachi, with a little sadness visible on her face.

" Thank you so much
Chachi "
thanked Nandini
but she knew convincing rishu to let her go, is going to be a hard job for her.

She further continue
" Par Chacha Chachi mujhe aapse ek promise chahiye
tha "

" Promise? kaisa promise? "
asked Chacha.

" Aap mere kisi bhi friend ko nahi batayege, ki mai Manglore gayi hu "

" Par Nan..."
chachi tried to say something, but Nandini cut her off.

" Nahi Chacha Chachi please agar aapne kabhi bhi mujhe beti mana hai toh nahi batayege."

Chacha and chachi both knew... That nandini was a very sensible girl... She would take decisions calmly so they agreed and promised.

" Chacha meri aaj ki tickets book kardoge please "
said Nandini.

" Haan theek hai, par itni bhi kya jaldi hai jane ki "
inquired Chachi, but how can she tell Chachi that if she would not go today, It would be very difficult for her to move on and become strong, she wanted to stick to her decision.

" Wo aaj sunday haina, Amms ne unke students ko holiday di hogi, aur wo aaj pura din free hogi. Toh mai unhe suprise de paungi aur zyada time spend kar paungi isiliye "

Some where Chachi knew, that the reason behind Nandini's going back is realated to Manik, so she didn't force it.

Here at Malhotra Mansion, Manik got up, his head was blasting with pain.
Instead of having so much of pain he searched for his phone, aftee finally after getting it. He opened the message box, but today there were no lovey dovey messages of Nandini. As it was their habit to wish each other good morning.

He scrunched his face in annoyance, at himself, because his head was throbbing and because of his deeds Nandini wouldn't even text him, why would she ?
In anger he threw his phone on the floor. He got up, had coffee and after getting ready he headed towards college.

Once he reached the college canteen, he was pounced by his friends.
Who took him in a group hug... He was somewhere satisfied looking at their faces glowing with happiness.

" Manik baby kaise ho
tum "
asked Alia.

" Baby? "
murmered manik.

" Haan, abhi we're in a relationship, haina pehle ki tarah isiliye kaha "
answered Alia.

Then the realization dawned him that he actually left Nandini and now Alia was his girlfriend.

" Oh! i am good ! How are you all? "
questioned Manik.

" Ab hum sab theek hai , that slxt isn't here, around
you now."
said mukti very casually.

" MUKKKTIIIII "
Manik roared, as his eyes saw red everywhere, how could even Mukti call his love that? No fucking way !!

" How dare you ? Himmat kaise hui teri? Manik Malhotra ke pyaar ko slut bolne ki?
She was as pure as water.
Do you get it? Chod diyana maine usse tumlogo ke kehne par, phir kyu? Ha kyu bakwaas kar rahi hain? MaNan tut gaye na? Ab bhi sukoon nahi mil raha hai? Kuch aur baki hai? Wo bhi bol do"
Manik took out all his frustration and the rage that he felt when Mukti called Nandini a slxt.

Alia got irritated as Manik took Nandini's side, and she started speaking

" Manik par ab toh tum mujhse pyaar karte hona, kyuki mai tumhari girlfriend
hu "
Manik only thought one thing, was Alia this dumb really, or she thought it was a good day to put her acting skills to use?

She stood near the middle of the canteen and announced
" Hello to all the students of Space, we, i mean Manik and me are together as girlfriend boyfriend. Due to some reasons we parted our ways but we are not together. Sooo, that i am happy. The bills would be payed by me, have a great day ahead "

Everyone cheered for alia and manik.

Manik looked at Alia shocked.
" Alia why did you announce? "

" Tumne hi toh accept kiya tha mujhe, as your girlfriend isiliye, Manik i am soo happy.
Abhi humare beech me koi nahi aayega.. "
saying this alia hugged manik tightly .

Manik knew there is no point, making them understand. Soo, just to divert his mind he said
" let's jam"

They entered the fab 5 jamroom and started jamming. But Manik was waiting for Nandini.As he thought she would come to college today. After jamming for more than 3 hours Cabir said

" Chalo kuch khate hai, bohot jamming ho gayi aaj toh "

They all left for the canteen. Where as Manik didn't move from the jam room.He was remembering all the good memories of his Nandini's. The way they used to sing together.

FLASHBACK

Today fab 4 were going to come late to the college.. So there was only Manik sitting in the jam room with guitar. When suddenly the door opened and there he spotted his firefly. She came towards manik , keeping the guitar on the floor sat on his lap, locked her arms around his neck, rested her smallie head on his broad chest and whispered "good molning" she said in a babyish voice.

" Good morning, Why is my love upset this morning? Didn't get proper sleep? "
asked Manik

Nandini raised her head to look at him and said " no "

" Then " asked Manik pulling her closer to himself.

" I am angry because you didn't sing a song for me yesterday "
Complained Nandini.

" And why did i do that? "
asked Manik.

" Because, i was not having breakfast "
replied nandini. (*pouts*)

Manik chucled and pecked her pout and said
" So that was your punishment for not having food samjhi aap? "

" Haan theek hai abhi gana gao ,abhi mai breakfast karke aayi hoon "

Manik ad Nandini both sang their favorite song, "ha hasi ban gaye "

Flashback ends

After having enough he thought to make a move when he spotted some random class fellas of Nandini and asked
" Hey suno, Nandini college aayi haj kya aaj? "

" nahi " replied the girl.

.....

Nandini was all ready with her bags packed and a cab was waiting for her

" Rishu apna dhyaan rakhna, Chacha Chachi ko pareshan mat karna, aur treatment ke baad mere paas aa
jana "
Rishab nodded .. Nandini hugged three of them and sat in the cab, she didn't know, she'd miss Mumbai so much.

She left the city forever, she left to become more strong, she left her love, her life, her Manik. She was crying incoherently. She left her friends, her family, she said the final bye to Mumbai.
But she felt as if she is taking some part of Manik along with her and she thought she was ready to start this journey.
