Having enough of my anger and emotions flowing. I got busy in checking some important mails, and at the same time i heard a knock on the door.

Now who else is so interested in disturbing me?

" Yes , come in "
i said.

The door slowly got opened and the person made his way towards me.
It was none other than Cabir.

" Manik kaisa hai yaar? Aajkal tu toh mujhe bhul hi gaya hai "
he said keeping his hands on my shoulder.

I very gently removed his hands from my shoulders and got engaged in checking mails again.

" Manik,  mai tujhse baat kar raha hu "
Cabir tried to gain my attention.

" Can't you see i am working?
I don't want any disturbance right now please, so just leave me alone "
I said it very clearly, but still it's cabir he doesn't get affected.

" Okay okay,  calm down hot pot "
He just doesn't get it that things can't be how they were before, between him and me.

" Manik kya hua hai? "
He asked.

i gave a straight forward reply.

" Manik talent hunt wale din ko bohot saal ho gaye hain,  bhul ja,  move on kar aur tu bhi janta hai Manik, Dhruv akela ho gaya hai, isiliye wo bar jata hai. Ye baat tujhe bhi pata hai "
We lost our Cabira guys on the talent hunt day.

i was really angry, matlab how can he say something like this? Firstly they snatched my love and then they come to me for such shitty reasons.

I couldn't even sit in a room with this Cabir, he never even gets what he's asking from me, what he asked from me years ago.

I said it with a sarcastic ear to ear smile, i don't know when i started getting emotional and tears spilled out of my eyes.

He came to me and took me in a bone crashing hug.

" Manik mai janta hu maine tujhe nahi samjha, isiliye taki fab 5 na tute, aur ab sabki khushi dikh rahi haina tujhe unke chehro par? "
oh my god how can i forget, they are not humans, only thing they care about is themselves, ye Cabir nahi so sakta.

Even though he's the only one still, among all of them who comes to me and keeps a check on me, who tries to get into a conversation with me, who sends Ahaan to me, to lighten up my mood, but then he talks shit like this.

I jerked him and he was taken aback for a second.

I replied painfully.

Cabir just kept looking down in guilt.

" Manik tujhe pata hai aaj humne saalo baad hug kiya hai, aur fab 5 ka toh hug hota hi nahi hai , kyu humse door ja raha hai tu? "

Called Ifra as she was wide awake now.

" yes my doll "
replied Betty.

" What ish today? "
asked Ifra, trying hard to frame words.

" Today is Monday my love "

Ifra got happy as she got what she wanted, she started clapping her hands ,next she stood on Nandini's lap and cupped her mamma's face in her tiny palms.

" Mamma , minoln (minion) "
She looked so adorable, as she gave Nandini her best puppy face.

" Yes yes i know that my baby wants to go to watch minion show, we will go today, but before that my life will freshen up, have something and then we will go promise "

Betty who was sitting beside them, was admiring the cute scene.

" No foody pleash "
Ifra said as she didn't want to waste time and reach to the minions as soon as possible.

" Jaan minions are not going to go anywhere,  you can meet them once you eat "
explained Nandini to her over excited baby.

Nandini made Ifra bath gently with a little warm water, she covered her in cute bath gown and started applying her cream.

" Mamma fasht fasht (fast) minoln (minion)  wailing "

Ifra said so adorably, using her tiny palms, for Nandini to hurry up, watching Ifra, Nandini said gritting her teeth out of love.

" Mera pyaara baccha "

Ifra's Outfit.

" Wow!  My baby is looking so adorable, nazar na lage meri jaan ko "
Nandini took Ifra's balayein.

Thanked Ifra, with her wide smile.

" Welcome mamma ki jaan "

Ifra said tapping her head.

" Haan baccha de rahi hu, aap toh ghar se nikloge nahi minion hairband ke bina "
said Nandini, knowing her baby very well.

" Mamma ifla minoln (minion) haha "
saying this Ifra started giggling looking at herself in the mirror.

She was looking cutest.
Nandini took her in her arms and twirled pecking her cheeks continuously

" Meri daulat " (my wealth) 
said Nandini lovingly.

Nandini's outfit.

" Adora now sit here, okay let mamma pack her bag, no moving here and there "
saying this she kept 2 to 3 pillows beside ifra so that she doesn't fall.

Nandini took her bag and placed her wallet, charger, Ifra's extra clothes (she always carries it incase if ifra needs it)  Ifra's diaper, Ifra's water sipper, bib and Ifra's cream which she carries everywhere recommended by Ifra's doctor

Having done with it she came towards Ifra made her stand on the bed and said.

" Jaan weather is chilly outside, let mamma make you wear hoodie "
Nandini knew Ifra wouldn't like to spoil her outfit but she had to, it was cold outside.

" Ifla no cooly "
(Ifra is not feeling cold )
said our little babycake.

" Oh meri jaan, but mamma is carrying it, whenever you feel cold you will have to wear it, promise ? "
Nandini said putting the hoodie inside her bag.

Jab se meri kanna gayi hai,

hum sabki khushiyan chali gayi hain. Humesha sabko smile karna sikhati thi, sabki care karti thi, par uss Manik Malhotra ke wajah se meri kanna mujhe chodke chali gayi, lekin mujhe uspe bharosa hai, usne mujhse promise kiya hai ki jab wo successful ho jayegi wo humse milne aayegi, kya wo theek hogi? Apna dhyaan toh rakhti hogi na?

Ye sab sawaal soch soch kar mera dil ghabrata hai, maine uske appa amma ko promise kiya tha ki usse beti jaise palugi, agar meri Nandu ko kuch ho gaya toh?  Nahi, mujhe yakeen hai uspe wo apna promise kabhi nah todti.

Abhi toh wo maa ban chuki hogi na? Meri kanna ki kanna bhi bohot beautiful hogi.

Mai tarasti hu apni grand daughter ko dekhne ke liye.
Mai ghussa hu Nandini se ki Mumbai jake usne aisi harkat ki, par mai wo baat ko leke usse pyaar karna toh nahi chod sakti na.

Manik se mai ghussa karti thi pehle jab wo Nandini ke saath aaya tha workshop ke liye, par mujhe pata tha manik bohot talented hai.

Wo zindagi me zaroor kuch karke dikhayega, lekin usne kya kiya?  Meri kanna ka dil tod diya.
Jab bhi news channel on karo Manik Malhotra aur fab 5 ki khabre chapi hoti hai.

C H A C H I

Hayyye ! Kaise hai aap sab? 
Mai yaad aaya Nandini ki chachi?

Meri gudiya ki bohot yaad aati hai mujhe.  Ab toh wo ek bacche ki maa ban chuhogi hogi.

Hame pata hai wo baccha Manik ka hai, hum shuruat me usse ghussa the par wo humari beti hai.
Usne amms ko kaha tha wo lautegi, aaj saadhe teen saal hogaye abhi tak pata nahi hai meri bacchi ka, mai Manik ko mera sona munda kehti thi, par mere sone munde ne hi meri gudiya ka dil tod diya.

Usse ladne ke liye akele chod diya. Amms ne Nandini ke pregnancy ke baare me Manik ko batane se inkaar kar diya, par us din maine uski aakhon me dard dekha hai.

Flashback

I was about to about lock the door when I heard someone's footsteps.

" Kaun hai? "
i asked.

But there wasn't any response, finally having enough i came out in search and saw Manik sitting exactly below Nandini's window and staring at it.

" Manik ,tum kyu aaye ho yaha? Chale jao yahase "
I was mad at him.

" Chachi kaisi hai aap?  Apne sone munde se aise mat baat kijiye please "
He literally pleaded me to not use that stern tone with him.

" Manik please jao yaha se "
I couldn't look at him like this, he looked completely destroyed.

" Chachi aap sach bataiye, aapko pata hai na meri Nandini kaha hai "
The way he asked me, broke my heart all over again.

" Nahi pata hai mujhe, aur agar hota bhi toh tumhe kabhi nahi batati "
Even though I always had a soft corner for him, I couldn't forget what he did to my Nandini.

" Chachi please Amms ko puchiye na, unhe pata hoga Nandini ke baare me "
He looked like a lost child, who was currently crying his heart out, wanting to be found.

" Manik please yaha tamasha mat karo, nafrat karte hain hum tumse "
It was difficult then it looked like, but i had to do this.

" Chachi, chachi mu...mujhe pa..ta hai maine galti ki hai, mai uske liye ma...maafi mangta hu aapse par please, Nandini kaha hai bata dijiye uske baad mai khud yaha se chala jaoga "

Maine dekha uski aakhon me wo dard, taras raha tha Nandini ke liye, bacchon ki tarah ro raha tha, par jo usne kiya hai, uski wajah se meri Nandu kayi zyada royi hai.

" Manik mai aakhri baar keh rahi hu, hame nahi pata  Nandini kaha hai, chale jao yaha se "
ye do line kehna wo bhi mere Manik se bohot mushkil tha mere liye.

" Chachi mai taras raha hu, koi mujhe pyaar se sehlaye, apni god mein sulaye, meri maa ko toh meri bilkul fikar nahi hai, aap, aap aisa mat kijiye please, mujhe aaj aapne khana khane ke liye force bhi nahi kiya, kyu chachi? 

Itna bura hu mai ki sab mujhe chod ke ja rahe hain, pehle meri Nandini aur ab aap. Aapko hamesha maine apni maa mana hai chachi "

wo jis tarah se ro raha tha wo dekh kar meri aakhein bhar aayi, par mai kya karti? Maine bas uska sar pyaar se sehlaye aur maathe pe chum kar kaha.

" Manik beta mujhe nahi pata Nandini kaha hai, jo tumne kiya uski yahi saza hai, phir kabhi mat aana yaha "
Ye kehkar mai waha se chali gayi, par wo chikh raha tha zor zor se.

" Chachi mai aapke aage haath jodta hu, bataiye na meri Nandu kaha hai, mat jaiye please, akele jeene se dar lagta hai mujhe. Chachii chachii... Suniye na ...chachi. Meri Nandini kaha hai? Mar jaunga mai. Bataiye na. Chachi. "
par main darwaza band karke chali gayi.

(those eyes they melt you completely)

Mai waha se chali gayi par wo sirf darwaze ki taraf dekh raha tha, iss hope se ki mai Nandini ke baare me bataugi, par maine uska hope waise hi toda jaise usne Nandini ka.

Flashback ends.

Usdin maine pehli baar Manik Malhotra ko rote huye dekha tha. Pata nahi kyu juda ho gaye dono.

Nandini ne mana kiya tha uske janeke bare me uske dosto ko batane se par Navya toh kabhi aayi hi nahi, Nandini ke baarein me puchne ke liye.
Aur itne saal me mujhse kabhi mili bhi nhi, kuch samaj nahi aa raha hai mujhe.
