KHUSHI

I sat infront of my laptop and smirked at Arohi, she looked so pretty. The first thing she did after coming back from the date was to video call me, she seemed really happy which meant the date had gone well, I couldn't wait to hear the details though.

"So... how was it?" I asked.

"Perfect. I mean he was so different, not the Rahat Raizada I've always heard about or seen in the news, I was quite nervous about the date actually, but it turned out so well, I mean he has become such a better person." Arohi said.

"And you found out that in just one date?" I laughed.

"Actually yes, all these past few months that we dint stay in touch, it had me thinking you know. If all he wanted was a one night stand or something of such sort, he wouldn't have taken this much time to ask me out. I always thought he was a bit spoilt you know, so I wasn't sure if I wanted to go out with him.

But he changed my view, I mean he's just so great. These six months, kind of made me realize that somewhere I also developed some sort of feelings for him, because I was really sad that he dint try to contact me or anything.

When he called me, I was so happy, I was literally dancing in my room, I dint even question anything anymore, as soon as he asked me if I'd like to have lunch with him, I agreed." She said.

"That's great, I am so glad that you are happy." I smiled at her.

"I hope there's going to be another date soon, I can't wait to see him again already." She blushed.

"Aww, my best friend is falling in love." I teased her.

"Shut up." She blushed and then she grabbed her phone from the bed and looked at it for a while then looked at me.

"He just texted me." She said excitedly.

"And what did he say?" I asked, I was just as excited as she was.

"Let me read it to you..." She blushed as she tucked her hair behind her ear and the smile on her face just widened as she started reading the text to me.

"I had such a great time with you today, I'm hoping you did too. And I am hoping if you enjoyed today as much as I did, maybe you would like to go out with me some other time? Just being sure before I ask you out for dinner." She smiled.

"Aww that's so cute." I smiled.

"I know right? I can't wait to go out with him again already." She pouted.

"I'm sure it will happen soon, he's just as excited as you are." I smiled.

I was so happy for them, I mean Rahat seemed genuinely happy about this whole thing and according to the text, it looked like he really liked her, I hoped things were going to work out for them.

Knwoing about the new romance brewing between these two was kind of making me miss Arnav more than I already was, I swear this long distance was getting really hard everyday.

"Anyway, I have to go, I'll talk to you later, if another date happens, don't forget to tell me the details." I said to Arohi.

"Sure, I will. Get done with your studies and come back soon, I miss you."

"I miss you too." I waved a goodbye at her and then disconnected the call. I still had quite some time to finish, but I couldn't wait to get done with it, go back home to my family, my best friend and my dear husband.

Oh Arnav, I miss you so much.

When I woke up the next day, the first thing I did was to call Arnav, but for some reason my call wouldn't go through. Even last night before I went to bed, I tried to call him but it wouldn't go through, I don't know why he had his phone switched off, I was quite worried.

Last when we talked he told me he was going for a meeting, after that we haven't, and its unusual of him, he usually calls me twice a day, I was worried if everything was okay.

I dialled Rahat's number hoping his phone would go through and he would tell me where Arnav was or why he wasn't receiving my calls.

"Hello Sister-in-law. That sound funny." He laughed.

"Why do you sound so happy, is there something fishy going on?" I asked.

"No... I'm just happy. So tell me, how come you remembered me after so many months?" He asked.

"Oh come on, it's not like I never call you."

"I know you do. So what's up?"

"I was trying to call Arnav but his phone is off, do you have any idea why?" I asked.

"Nope, I haven't seen him since yesterday, but don't worry, I'm sure he must be busy somewhere, he would call you as soon as he gets free."

"Well I hope so, I am worried."

"You don't have to be worried, he is fine trust me."

"If you say so. Anyway, tell me, what's going on between you and my best friend? You better not be playing games with her or I will murder you." I laughed.

"Of course, she told you." He said.

"Why, did you want for her not to tell me?"

"No, it's not that... it's just... all the things that happened between us..."

"it's all in the past Rahat, trust me I am happy for the both of you. Do you like her?"

"A lot... I never thought I'd feel that way about anyone else since... but the date, it was so good, I couldn't stop staring at her, it was just some weird feeling in my heart. I am dying to see her again."

"She is dying to see you too, how about you give her a calla nd fix up a meeting, I'll go to attend my classes and hopefully by the time I am done, your brother will answer my calls."

"Okay I will, see you."

Seriously Arnav, where are you?

I arrived back home in the evening feeling quite sad, today was the first day that I had gone by without talking to Arnav at all, I mean I was already missing him so much and he hadn't even called me back yet nor had he switched on his phone.

I unlocked the door to my room while cheking my phone hoping he would have called or texted or something but there was nothing. I felt worried and sad at the same time, actually I felt so sad I almost wanted to cry.

"Arnav, where are you?" I asked as I walked in and threw my bag on the floor, my roommate hadn't arrived yet.

"Right here baby." I heard his voice as he walked out of my room.

What? Was I really seeing him? He was here, yes, he was! Oh my God.

"Arnav!" I rushed towards him and jumped on him as I hugged him so tight while I broke down into tears, I think I was just so overwhelmed from missing him that now seeing him here literally brought tears into my eyes.

"I missed you so much baby, I had to come see you." He said as he put me down and cupped my face looking me into the eyes.

"I missed you too." I pouted, he smiled as he bent over and kissed me immediately, I kissed him back I mean from the kiss I was sure the both of us felt how much we had actually missed each other. Since we got married, this was the second time he was visiting me, he visited me last month and I was expecting a few more months to pass by so that he could visit me again but it looked like he couldn't stay much longer without seeing me, neither could I.

"No wonder your phone was off." I said pulling apart from the kiss.

"I wanted to surprise you." He smiled.

"You know you are lucky you are rich and can afford to fly here whenever you wish." I teased him.

"I know, but this one was actually luck. Remember the meeting I told you I was going to attend? So It was about recording a song for the company and we discussed things and they wanted me to come here and meet their owner, and sign the contract. So I talked to Rahat, he was okay with the deal and he told me to come here and sign the contract so I could get a chance to see you also. I mean it was either of us to come, I am so glad it came up, I swear I missed you so much." He grabbed me by the waist and pulled me closer.

"That idiot pretended like he knew nothing when I called him." I said.

"Well I told him I was going to surprise you so..." He smirked.

"I am so glad you came... I was missing you a lot." I pouted.

"I know baby." He smirked as he picked me up in his arms and took me inside the room as he threw me on the bed and jumped over me, kissing me all over the face like he was hungry for me. Well I was hungry for him too.

"When do you have to sign the contract?" I asked.

"Oh it's in Toronto, I'll have to travel there tomorrow for it. Let's not talk business right now, I want to make love to you, I missed my gorgeous wife." He pouted.

"Okay as you say husband." I laughed while he undressed me and himself so quickly, it was like one moment we were dressed and the next we weren't.

He jumped over me once again and kissed me as his hands worked the usual magic on me, oh I missed his touch so much.

I grabbed his hair and pulled it so hard while he pleasured me, and every now and then I would keep moaning his name, everytime I said his name he would get more intense with me, I loved it though.

"I'm gonna make love to you whole night baby." He smirked as he looked up at me.

"Are you sure." I laughed.

"Try me." He smirked making me laugh. Oh how much I loved this guy.
