KHUSHI

I sat silently beside Rahat as he drove us back home, whatever he told me regarding his bet with Tina had somehow left me really disturbed. I mean what if I had never found out that Arnav loved me? What if Arnav never loved me and I gotten engaged to Rahat then found out later that it was all a bet. It somehow did hurt, but it was okay as long as I wasn't with him and at least he had the guts to tell me the truth.

Arnav was right, Rahat had changed a lot, he wasn't the same person that I met when I came for the interview and although all the times Arnav told me that I dint believe it, but today I actually believed it.

I looked at him and wondered how he must be feeling, he lost me, he lost Tina who he thought was a friend, in fact she played such weird games with him, in this entire thing if anyone was hurt too much it was him.

Everything kind of made sense now, Tina just kept on dragging herself along with Arnav every chance she got so she could make me believe that they were together and I would step away, such a cunning girl she was.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" He asked.

"Will you do me a favor Rahat? Drive me to Tina's place."

"Why?" He looked at me in horror.

"You don't have to be worried, I just want to have a girl to girl talk with her." I said.

"Are you sure Khushi, I mean I've already warned you and it's not like she's going to be able to do something even if she tries, just let it go."

"Please Rahat."

"Okay fine." He rolled his eyes as he took a turn and drove me to wherever she lived, I hoped I was going to find her home.

In five minutes, we were outside her house, it was a small bungalow kind of a house. I stepped out of the car and so did Rahat.

"Stay here, I'll be back in a while." I said to Rahat who nodded and leaned against the car as I headed inside, he did seem worried for me though.

Gladly I dint have to waste my time trying to find her, she was seated right in the hall staring at the screen of her phone.

"Khushi! What brings you here?" She asked as she stood up and looked at me in surprise.

"You." I replied.

"I don't understand." Such a pretender she was, if I dint know the truth, I would have believe she was a good person.

"You don't have to pretend in front of me, Rahat told me everything about the bet." I rolled my eyes, seriously I disliked her so much already.

"Oh so what, are you here to warn me to stay away from Arnav?" She asked.

"No. I am here to warn to stop playing stupid games with Rahat and Arnav, you've already lost Rahat as a friend, if you don't want the same with Arnav, you better not try anything stupid, one mistake and I'll tell him the entire truth about you then guess who he will trust, you or me?"

"Oops I'm scared." She laughed.

"You should be, you can't have him to love you because he loves me, but you sure don't want him to hate you, do you? If he finds out the truth you know he wouldn't want to see your face ever again, so it's your choice." I smirked, if she really did care about Arnav as much as she showed, then I was sure she wasn't going to take any other stupid step because that was actually going to cost her their friendship.

"Fine, I won't play any games if you promise never to tell him. He can't hate me."

"I won't tell him as long as you stay in your limits."

"Fine, it's a deal then." She said, I nodded as I turned around to leave but something felt incomplete, and I knew what exactly, so I turned around walked back straight to her and gave her a tight slap.

"I know Rahat was wrong, but this is for you manipulating him, you were his friend, you were supposed to tell him he was wrong instead of putting up a stupid bet!" I gave her an angry look and then walked out, wow I felt like those heroines in movies when they did something great.

I met Rahat right outside the door, he tried to walk away before I could see him but he was too late.

"Were you eavesdropping?"

"You can't expect me to just silently wait for you outside now can you?" he smirked as we both headed to the car, we settled down and he started driving.

"Thank you Khushi, it's good to have someone genuinely care about you." Rahat said.

"What are you thanking me for?"

"For the slap you gave her." He laughed, it was funny though, I never knew I could slap someone, that too for Rahat Raizada, I guess things change, even people change, who would have thought that one day Rahat and I would get along like this.

I couldn't wait to arrive back at Raizada mansion and go give Arnav a tight hug, just make sure he was mine... all that happened today was too much, I needed some peace for a while now.

Once we arrived, I rushed out of the car quickly and ran inside, I found him pacing around the hall talking to someone over the phone explaining something, I dint even care, I just ran towards him and wrapped my arms around him holding him tight. It felt so great, so safe, so peaceful.

"I'll call you back." He said to whoever he was talking and disconnected the call and he looked at me with a smirk.

"So much love for me?" He smiled.

"Too much. I'm just happy you are mine." I blushed.

"And you are mine." He smiled as he hugged me back, and I just wanted to stay here, in his arms forever so no one like Tina would ever come in between us.

After a while, he broke the hug, still having that beautiful smile on his face... Oh, I just kept falling deeper and deeper in love with him every time I looked at him.

I saw his attention divert and I followed his eyes, we both saw Rahat standing at the entrance looking at us.

"Sorry, dint mean to interrupt, I'll head to my room right away then you can carry on." He laughed as he rushed away, he might have laughed and all but his eyes showed clearly how hurt he was, this wasn't going to be easy for him.

"I think we should minimize the romance in front of him." I said to Arnav.

"Yeah, next time you feel like showering your love to me, take me to my room first." He smirked.

"That's not how to talk to you manager Mr. Raizada." I laughed.

"You are right, but it is how I talk to my girlfriend. Oh God. I love you so much Khushi." He grabbed me again and held me into his arms.

"I love you too." I smiled.

Once Arnav was ready, he told me to get ready in his room so we could leave for the concert, I was kind of confused but when I walked into his room, I found a beautiful red dress placed on his bed with matching heels, a clutch and a note beside it that said 'Wear Me.'

We were going to have our first date tonight after the concert, no wonder he did this, I smiled as I grabbed the dress and changed into it, gladly my hair was washed and straightened so I just had to comb and detangle it, and I always had my lipstick with me so I put that on and I was finally ready for our first date.

I headed out of his room and saw both Rahat and Arnav standing downstairs waiting for me, they both looked at me as soon as I started descending the staircase and Arnav's mouth opened up wide making me giggle.

"You look beautiful." Rahat said.

"Thank you, so do the both of you." I smiled at him.

"We should get going." Arnav said as he turned around to walk away, I did want him to compliment me but I realized we had decided to keep it to minimum in front of Rahat.

He held the door open for me as I headed in and he and Rahat joined me, and we all left for the concert, as usual, it was going to be a beautiful concert and I just couldn't wait for it to begin and end so I could finally get to go on my first date.

Arnav hadn't told me anything else apart from the fact that we had a date so I was curious about what he might have planned.
