My POV

 Himchan has been calling me everyday since he bought the dress for prom, and today was no exception. “Hello” I answered my ringing phone.

“Hi Noona!” Himchan happily shouted in my ear. I could hear fans screaming in the background.

“Hi Himchan! It is very loud, where are you?”

“Oh, we're having a fan meeting at one of those BBQ places you love and I thought of you, so I called.”

OMG, why do you have to say things that make my heart do somersaults? “That's very sweet of you Himchan, but don't you think you should pay attention to your fans. I mean they came all the way just to see you and spend some time with you.”

“I know Noona.” I could tell he was pouting.

“Stop pouting! You fans don't want to see that! They might think they did something wrong!” I scolded him.

“WOW! How did you know I was pouting? Are you psychic?”

“No! I just know that you always pout when you don't get your way.”

“You got me there” he chuckled.

“Go and have fun with your fans” I smiled.

“Okay!” he shouted. “Oh, Noona!”

“Yes, Himchan.”

“Don't forget about our date.”

D...D...Date??? What date? My heart was pounding. “Huh?”

“Don't tell me you've already forgotten about the K-prom?”

I let out a heavy sigh “No, I haven't forgotten.” You remind me everyday.

“Okay!” I could tell he was smiling. “Are we still hanging out tomorrow at the usual spot?”

I smiled “Of course! I wouldn't miss it for the world!”

“See you tomorrow Noona!” I could tell he was happy. He always enjoyed our get togethers and I have to admit, I enjoyed them too.

The next day, I arrived at our usual spot and took a seat in our favorite booth. I only had to wait a couple minutes before Himchan came in and sat down. “Hi Noona!” he smiled brightly.

I should really be used to it, but every time he does that my heart races. I guess I never got over my crush on him. “Hi! How has every thing been? They aren't overworking you, are they?”

“Are you kidding? I barely have time to breathe!”

“If you are so busy, we can always reschedule.”

“No!” he quickly sat upright.

“You do realize that you need to rest in order to stay healthy.”

“I know, but...”

“We can always get together another time. Besides, the K-prom is this Saturday. We'll see each other then” I smiled. Himchan slouched in his chair and started pouting. “Stop pouting. It's not going to work on me.”

“Fine” he huffed. Damn he is so cute. “I'll go” he sighed “but only after we finish our planning for the K-prom.”

I smiled at his childish excuse. “What else do we need to plan? We already have our outfits.”

“Well, the guys are all excited about prom and Yongguk thinks we should all go together.”

“That sounds like a great idea!”

“Exactly! So, we were trying to think of a good spot to meet up and we decided that the practice studio would be best. Prom starts at 10:00am, so we thought that we should meet at 9:00am. That way we would have a chance to meet everyone before going to the prom” he smiled.

“But you guys all live in the same dorm, why are you going to the practice room to meet up? Do you guys have a schedule before prom?”

“No silly. It's so we can meet each others dates” he chuckled.

“Oh!”

“You know where the practice studio is, right?”

“Yeah, but...”

“Good! Them meet us there around 9:00am.”

“I can't” I lowered my head.

“Why not?! You promised you would go to the K-prom with me!”

“Shh! You want everyone here to know who you really are?”

“But Noona!”

“I'm still going to go to the K-prom with you, but I can't meet with you guys beforehand.”

“Noonaaaa” he whined.

“Have I ever lied to you or broken a promise I've made?”

He looked at me with puppy dog eyes. “No” he continued to pout. “But the guys keep making fun of me because I got rejected so many times. They don't believe that I really have a date to the K-prom.”

“Himchan, I promise you, I will be there” I said confidently as I smiled.

“Really?” he perked up a little.

“Yes.”

“Okay” he finally started to smile again.

After leaving our hang out spot, Himchan climbed into his car and drove off. I walked a few blocks to the subway and waited for the next train. I pulled out my phone and quickly checked my email. As I was reading one from my boss, I happened to overhear a few excited girls chatting in front of me.

“OMG Himchan Oppa is sooooooo cute!” one of the girls squealed.

“I love it when he makes that face” another girl chimed in with a high pitched squeek.

“I can't wait to give him his birthday present” yet another girl said as she hugged the shopping bag she was holding.

BIRTHDAY!!! My eyes widened in shock. I quickly checked my calender and face palmed myself. Himchan's birthday was this Saturday; the same day as the K-prom! CRAP! I forget to get him a present!

Saturday came fast and I rushed as fast as I could to finish my work on time so that my boss would let me get off early. I triple check everything to make sure it was in order before handing it in. My boss chuckled as I handed her the documents. “Why you in a rush today? Got a hot date?”

I blushed a little and nodded. Normally it wouldn't be appropriate for a boss to talk to an employee like this, but she and I have become good friends both in and out of work. I've even told her about my crush on Himchan, although I never told her who he is. “Really? Is it that guy you always tell me about? The one you went to school with?”

“Yeah” I blushed a little more.

“He finally asked you out?” she started to get excited.

“It's not what you think” I tried to calm her down a bit.

“What do you mean?”

“He asked me to go to a function with him because he couldn't find a date.”

“Ohhh! I thought he finally realized what a great girl you are!”

“Have you forgotten that I'm older than him? He looks at me as a friend and older sister; nothing more” I smiled depressingly. “But I promised I'd go with him, so I will.”

“You really are a fool, you know that? You always put his happiness first. When are you going to think about your own happiness?” I knew she was right, but I couldn't help how I felt. “I'm just saying,... you're still young. You should think about getting married and settling down.”

“I'll think about it.”

“Well, you don't want to keep him waiting” she smiled. “Go on! Get out of here!”

“Thank you!” I smiled brightly as I quickly left her office.

I ran to my desk and grabbed my dress before rushing to the bathroom to change. I threw on the dress, heels and some light makeup before dashing out the door. A few of my male coworkers who saw me, whistled as I zoomed past them causing me to blush a little.

Thankfully I worked near my sister's bakery, so I only had to run a few blocks in my heels. I got inside and was greeted by the sales girl. “Good Morning! How my I help you today?”

Sales Clerk (Karen) POV

I can't believe my boss is making me work today! Everyone knows that it is the first ever K-prom and every idol is going to be there! I should have called in sick!

While I was wallowing in my misery of missing the opportunity to see my favorite idols, a woman came rushing into the bakery. Great! Time to work! I put on my best professional smile and said “Good Morning! How may I help you?”

“Hi” the woman replied out of breath. Did she run here? In that outfit?! She walked over to the display case and looked at the cakes. “Can I have that one please?” She pointed to the heart shaped tiramisu birthday cake.

I smiled politely and said “Of course!”

As I was opening the case to get the cake, I heard my boss say “Unnie!” as she came out of the kitchen.

“Hey Debbie! How is everything going?”

“Everything's fine! What are you doing here?”

“Just picking up a cake” she pointed to the case that I had opened.

“Ahh” my boss nodded. Then she turned to me and said “Karen!”

“Yes Miss?”

“Put that in one of the special boxes and throw in a few candles!”

“Yes Miss!” I replied as I brought the cake out back to wrap up. I wonder who that woman is to make my boss act like that.

Debbie POV

“Come have a seat for a minute” I said as I ushered Unnie over to one of the tables.

“Thanks Debbie!” she replied as she tried to catch her breath.

“So, how have you been?”

“I'm good!” she smiled. “Your store seems to be doing good. My coworkers can't stop talking about your pastries!”

I chuckled “Really?” I was surprised. “You didn't tell them that I'm your sister, did you?”

“Nope!” We both started laughing.

Now that she has caught her breath, it's time to ask the more important question. “So, where are you headed dressed like that?”

She looked down at her appearance and is she blushing? “Oh, I'm...going to see a friend.”

“A friend? Really?”

“Yes!”

“Seriously, where are you going?”

She sighed as she reluctantly answered “The K-prom.”

“Really?!”

“Who are you going with?...Wait... Never mind!” Stupid question. There is only one person who could make my sister dress up like this. I shook my head. “I don't understand. I thought the two of you were just friends.”

“We are!”

“Then why are you going... You guys haven't started dating, have you?”

She sighed again “No Debbie, we are not dating.”

“Then why?”

“I'm going as his friend because all the other girls he asked, turned him down.”

“What?! Are you serious? A girl actually said no to him?!”

“More like ten girls, but yeah.”

“He asked ten girls before you?! OMG!”

“Yeah, I'm just going to help him save face.”

“But Unnie...” I frowned. I knew how she felt about him, but he is too stupid to see how much she cares.

“It's okay Debbie. I'm fine with it. I've always known that this was a one sided crush.” She started to tear up and began choking on her words. “He only sees me as a friend or older sister. Plus I'm eight years older than him.”

“Who cares about age. Look at Mom and Dad! They are seven years apart!”

“Yeah, but Dad is older” she retorted.

“There are plenty of couples where the girl is older! Look at Poppin Hyunjoon and Park Aeri or Kim Sohyun and Son Junho!”

Yes! I got her to smile again. “That's true, I almost forgot about that. Thanks Debbie!”

I noticed that Karen was coming out of the kitchen so I stood up, hugged her and said “Wish him a Happy Birthday for me and have fun at the K-prom.”

Himchan POV

The day of the K-prom arrived and all the guys were excited. “I can't wait to meet the girls!” Youngjae said with a smirk.

“Why do you have to act like that?” Yongguk asked. Thank you father figure.

“Come on! When will we have another chance to hang out with girls like this?” he retorted.

“You just pay attention to your date and stay far away from mine” Zelo joked and we all laughed.

“I think Himchan is the one you'll have to worry about, Zelo” Jongup smirked. “After all he is the one who is dateless.”

I knew that they were going to do this to me! “I told you guys already! She is busy! She is going to meet me at the K-prom!”

“Riiiiiiight” Daehyun nodded and they all chuckled.

The girls arrived and I have to admit, they all looked beautiful, but they were nowhere near as beautiful as Noona was. I smiled as the guys introduced their dates. Then we all climbed into the van and headed for the venue.

Karen POV

“K-prom! You're going to the K-prom?”

“Yeah” the woman replied.

“You've got to be kidding me! Who in their right mind would invite an old hag like you to the K-prom?!” I laughed at her. I mean come on! If you are going to lie, at least make it believable!

“Karen!” my boss shouted at me.

Crap! I forgot she was still here. “Yes Miss?”

“You're fired! Collect your things and get out of here!”

“But Miss...”

“I don't want to hear any excuses! That is no way to treat a customer! Get out! NOW!”

I removed my apron and threw it to the ground. Then I went to the locker room and grabbed my things before storming off. “I can't believe she fired me!” I was so pissed off. “Oh well, at least I can go and watch the idols arrive at the K-prom now” I smiled as I hailed a taxi.

I arrived at the venue and quickly rushed to find my friends. “Karen! Over here!” Jessica called out to me.

“Who did I miss?” I asked once I finally made my way through the crowd.

“Most of the big time idols have already arrived” Sue said. “By the way, what are you doing here? I thought you had to work.”

“My boss just fired me” I huffed. “I mean, if she was going to fire me, why didn't she just do it yesterday! That way I wouldn't have missed this!” I screamed in frustration. “Has B.A.P arrived yet?”

“Nope!” Jessica smiled.

“I still can't believe you turned down an invite from Himchan! Are you crazy?! You could have been in there mingling with all the idols!”

“Are you kidding?! Why would I want to go with a camera hog like him? I'd rather sit here and watch his embarassment” she chuckled.

“You really can be evil, you know that?” I laughed with her.

A van pulled up and we all watched as the members of B.A.P arrived. One by one they got off the van and escorted their dates. We all waited with anticipation for Himchan and, as expected, he was dateless. We all silently laughed to ourselves as they passed.

“OMG! I've never seen him look so out of place!” Jessica broke out in laughter. “This was so worth turning him down!”

A few minutes passed and we watched as more idols arrived. We even got to take some pictures with a few of them! The girls and I were having the time of our lives, when I happened to see the old hag from the bakery.

“Does she really think they are going to let her in just because she is wearing that dress?” I laughed and the girls turned to look at what I was talking about.

“Who?” they asked and I pointed her out.

“That old hag right there.” The girls laughed with me. “She is the reason I was fired today.”

“Really?” Jessica asked.

“Yeah, she was talking with my boss and they mentioned the K-prom and I just flipped. I mean... Who in their right mind would ask an old ugly hag like her to the K-prom?”

We silently laughed to ourselves as she approached the security guards. “What is in the bag?”

“A cake” she replied.

“May we see?”

She opened the bag and produced the cake from the bakery. I rolled my eyes at it. Come on! Ask for her invitation!

“Thank you, Miss” the security guard said. “We can deliver it for you. Who is it for?”

YES!!

“It is for my date” she replied “and I can deliver it myself.”

Cocky much?!

“I'm sorry, but you aren't allowed in without an invitation” the guard politely said.

HA! Take that you old hag!

She reached into her purse, pulled out a piece of paper and handed it to the guard.

“What is that? Can you guys see?”

“No” they all replied.

Damn it! What did she give them?

The guards looked over the paper and then said “I'm sorry for the confusion.” They gestured for her to enter and said “Have a good time Miss.”

NO WAY! She really was invited to the K-prom?!?!?!

Himchan POV

Where is she? She promised she would be here!

“Hey Himchan!” Sunggyu said as he and the other members of Infinite approached with their dates.

“Hi Hyung!” I replied.

“Where is your date?” he smiled.

Just because you witnessed Jessica rejecting my invite, doesn't mean you can rub it in my face! I took a deep breath and smiled “She is on her way.”

“Why didn't she come with the rest of you?”

Will you stop with the twenty questions routine?! I'm already dealing with it from my members, I don't need you to add to it! “She was busy.” He chuckled and nodded. Just you wait! When you see Noona, all of you are going to be kicking yourselves.

“I can't wait to meet her” he snickered.

I rolled my eyes and happened to focus on the entry. I smiled and said “You won't have to wait long.”

My POV

After producing the invitation Himchan gave me, the guards allowed me entry to the K-prom. I grabbed the bag and walked past them into the venue. OMG!! I'm starting to get nervous! As I walk towards the main ballroom, I keep second guessing myself. Maybe I shouldn't have agreed to come.

I look at all the couples dancing and mingling in the large room and wonder to myself “How am I going to find him in here?”

As I'm looking around, I notice that some of the people were looking at me. Why are they doing that? It's making me self conscious! I could feel myself starting to blush.

“Noona!” I heard a familiar voice call out.

I look up and smile as I see “Himchan!” walking towards me. “How did you find me?” I asked, surprised that he was actually standing before me.

“Are you kidding?! I'd be able to find you anywhere!” he smiled as he grabbed my free hand and pulled me into the crowded room. If I wasn't blushing before he made that comment, I definitely am now. After navigating the crowded room, he finally stopped in front of a decent size group of people. I think there were about two dozen of them. “Guys” he addressed the group. “This is my date!” he pulled me in front of him and wrapped his arms around my shoulders from behind.

OMG! I think I'm going to pass out now! I look up and am shocked. All the members of B.A.P and Infinite were there with their dates. My heart is working overtime now. I really need to calm down.

“Noona” Himchan whispered in my ear and now I'm completely dead. “These are the guys.”

“H...Hel...Hel...lo” I stutter and then mentally face palm myself. Great first impression! You think I would be used to being around idols considering I hang out with Himchan all the time. But No! I have to stutter when he introduces me to the members of his and another group.

“Whoa!! Who is the hottie?” Sunggyu said, earning a slap in the arm from his date. “What?!” he questioned innocently and everyone started laughing.

Himchan tightened his grip around me and said “Oh, no you don't! I'm not letting you get anywhere near my girlfriend!”

My eyes widened immediately. “What did you say?” I asked in shock.

“Finally!” Yongguk smiled. “I was wondering when he was going to introduce you to us. You wouldn't believe how much he talks about you in the dorm. It's always Noona this and Noona that. Where should I go with Noona tomorrow? I think Noona will like this! I thought you were just a figment of his imagination for a while there.”

“Hyung!”

“What?! It's true!” I turned and saw Himchan starting to blush.

“Wait a second” Sunggyu spoke up now. “I don't understand. If you had a girlfriend as hot as her, why were you asking other girls to the K-prom?”

“Because I prefer to keep my private life separate from all the idol stuff” he was now beet red. “I didn't want to share her. She's special to me.”

Okay, now I was beet red and I think my heart has stopped. I thought back on all the times that he and I were together and started to notice small shows of affection that I had somehow overlooked before. Does he really consider me his girlfriend? I stumbled a little and Himchan caught me. “Are you okay?”

“I'm fine” I said as I looked up and met his eyes.

We quickly turned away to the sounds of everyone awwing, which made us blush more. I swear that we are going to be permanently blushed for the next week.

“What is that?” Himchan asked and I looked at what he was staring at.

“Oh” remembering that I still had the cake for him, I held the bag out towards him. “This is for you.”

“Really?” he smiled. “What is it?”

“Your birthday cake” I replied with a smile.

“You remembered?”

“Was there any doubt? Of course I'd remember your birthday!” I smiled a little more as we all walked over to a table, so that he could pull the cake out. While he was opening the box, I got a little nervous. “I know it's not much, but I hope you like it.”

He looked at the cake and smiled “It's great!”

“I'm sorry I wasn't able to get you a present...”

He shook his head. “The best present is having you right here with me.” He pulled me closer and kissed me. “I Love You Noona!”

“I Love You too” I said and he started kissing me once more.

“Get a room!” Sunggyu shouted at us and everyone laughed.

“What kind of cake is it?” Daehyun asked with a big grin on his face.

“Crap!” Yongguk screamed. “Grab him!”

The members of B.A.P all rushed to Daehyun and pulled him away from the table. “Noona!” Himchan called out to me.

“Yeah?”

“Put the cake back in the box and get it out of here! Quickly!”

I didn't know what was going on, so I put the cake back in the box and ran to the coat check. “Can I check this bag?” I asked the attendant.

“Of course!” She took the bag and attached a number to it and handed me a ticket. “Don't loose the ticket, or we won't be able to return your items.”

“Okay!” I replied as I put the ticket in my purse and returned to the group.

“Cake! I want cake!” Daehyun ran over to me. He grabbed me by the shoulders and asked “Where is the cake?”

“It's gone” I replied.

The excitement in his eyes faded and his head dropped as he sulked back over to the group. His date took him by the arm and said “Don't worry, I'll buy you a cake on the way home.”

“Really?” he perked up and she nodded. “YAY!”

We were all having fun chatting when Destiny got up on the stage and made an announcement “Hello Everyone! I'd like to thank you all for coming to the first ever Gurupop K-prom. Just so you know #Guruprom is now trending on twitter!” Everyone cheered. When the cheers died down, she continued her speech. “Votes are still being accepted for Prom Queen and King. Don't forget to submit your ballot by 11:30pm. A list of nominees can be found at the ballot table. I don't want to make this too long, so I'll just say......... Are you ready to have fun?” Then she gave the cue to the DJ to start the music and everyone cheered once more.

The rest of the day and night was filled with dancing and chatting. Occasionally, an idol group would take over the dance floor and dance to their own song and BAP was no exception. I had requested their song Crash to play and they all immediately ran out to the floor when it started to play. I think they really enjoyed dancing to that song because they all had smiles plastered on their faces as they came off the dance floor.

As the K-prom was coming to an end, Destiny took to the stage once more. “Okay everyone! I have this year's Prom Queen and King!” Everyone cheered. She slowly opened the envelope, took a peek and smiled. “I'm so glad this couple won! They really deserved it. This year's Prom Queen and King are _?_?_?_?_?_?_?_?_”

Everyone cheered as they made their way to the stage and were crowned. They then proceeded to the dance floor and had their coronation dance.

Not long after their dance, Destiny got back on the stage and made one last announcement. “I just want to thank you all for coming one last time. I'm really glad that this turned out so well and that everyone enjoyed themselves. I hope we will all be able to have just as much fun next year. This will be the last song. Thank you and Goodnight!” she bowed and then turned to the DJ and signaled for him to play the last slow song of the evening.

Himchan grabbed me by the hand and pulled me out onto the dance floor. “Nonna” he softly spoke and I looked up at him. “I know I haven't treated you the way you ought to be, but...”

I leaned towards him and gave him a peck on his lips. “You worry too much” I smiled.

“But Nonna! I feel bad because I haven't even asked you to be my girlfriend and I just...”

I kissed him again. “Like I said, you worry too much.” Then I giggled “If I really didn't want to be your girlfriend, I would have protested already.” I blushed a little “The truth is, I've had a crush on you since I met you in college.”

Himchan was shocked at my confession. “Me too, but..... I didn't think you'd give me a chance because I was younger than you.”

We both smiled and chuckled a little. “So does that mean that we are officially a couple now?” I thought for a moment and then nodded. Then he leaned forward and kissed me again. I swear that his kisses are getting longer and deeper. As he pulled away, he asked “Where is the cake?”

“Coat check” I replied and he smiled.

The song ended and the guys all gathered together. “It was really nice to meet you Noona” Yongguk said and the other guys agreed.

“It was nice to meet you too” I replied.

“We're going to take the girls home now. Are you coming with us Himchan?”

“No, I'm going to stay with Noona for a while longer. I'll see you back at the dorm.”

“Okay! Bye!” They said as they walked off.

“Let's go and get my cake” Himchan smiled as he dragged me to the coat check.

I handed the attendant my ticket and she retrieved the bag. “Have a good evening!” she said with a smile.

“We plan to” Himchan responded as he took me by the hand.

“Where are we going?” I asked.

“To your place!”

I quickly pulled my hand away “What?!”

He turned around in surprise. “What's the matter?”

“Y...Y... You can't...”

He started chuckling. “Nonna, you're a pervert.”

“Hey!” I slapped his arm.

“We're going to your place, so that we can eat the cake without Daehyun getting in the way.” He giggled some more “What were you thinking we were going to do?” I blushed. “So, Noona is a pervert?” he raised his eyebrows. “Well, if you really want to, we could...” he leaned forward to kiss me, but this time I held up my hand between us.

“Not on a first date” I said as I walked away.

“HEY!” he screamed. I turned around to see him running after me and I bolted.

He caught me from behind around the waist as we exited the building and we both started laughing.

“Himchan?!” a girl's voice shouted and we both looked to see who it was.

“Oh, Hi Jessica” Himchan smiled.

I looked at the girl and was surprised. She was very beautiful. Then I looked at the group of girls she was with and saw the girl from my sister's bakery standing next to her. I couldn't help but smile at the dumbfounded look on her face. I could tell she was in shock. She was probably thinking that this was impossible or that it was a dream. I turned to Himchan and smiled “Come on Himchan, let's go!” Then I gave him a peck on the cheek and pulled him down the red carpet.

He grabbed my hand and said “Thank you for that.”

“Well, I wouldn't want her thinking she has a chance with my boyfriend, would I?”

We went back to my place and pulled out the cake. I placed the candles on top of it and lit them. “Make a wish!” I said and he smiled.

“My wish already came true” he said as he blew the candles out.
