-the first time it ever happened

-you were asleep

-and woke up to someone shaking you

-a vaguely familiar man

-but you still had no clue who he was

-so that was alarm number one

-next was

-he was speaking in another language

-and then

-when you got up and looked at yourself

-you were a beautiful man

-so you ran out of the bathroom

-into a common area of sorts

-with tears running down your face

-well his face

-but you didn't know that at the time

-someone came up to you with caring eyes

-who also spoke to you in the unknown language

-so

-you tried speaking in your own to see if anyone knew it

-"I'm not who you think I am, I'm someone else and I don't know what's happening"

-"Oh. So you don't speak Korean?"

-"No"

-"Good thing I know English. I'm Jisoo but people call me Joshua.

-"So uh, I'm (Y/N). I live in (country). I don't know what's happening or where I am, so I'm glad there are people around."

-"Nice to meet you, uh. This is Korea. You're currently in Jeonghan's body. It might be your soulmate bond?"

-"Does that mean he's in my body? Oh my god he must be suffering."

-"Why?"

-"I'm a female. And it just so happens that it's that time."

-Joshua cringes

-and you were right

-jeonghan woke up in your body

-suffering from cramps

-and pain

-and headaches

-and everything that goes along with that time of the month

-how people survive it is beyond me

-anyway

-your mother quickly realized that it wasn't you

-so she did everything in her power to help the boy out

-even if he didn't quite understand what she was saying

-she had given him a heating pad

-some pain relievers

-chocolate

-sat him in front of the tv

-and turned it on

-making sure he was always comfortable

-by the time you were back in your body

-which was only a couple hours later

-you already had Joshua trying to teach you Korean

-to make your life easier

-you borrowed Jeonghan's phone

-and took a few second video saying hi

-and then got Joshua to say that he would teach you Korean

-and him english

-just so you could leave the videos with more ease

-from then on he'd use a sticky note from your room

-and write a cute little message

-which you couldn't understand yet

-you had given Joshua your phone number though

-so you'd send him a picture of the sticky note

-but he wouldn't translate it for you

-he'd only tell you that you'll learn in time

-every now and then you'd switch bodies with Jeonghan

-and you slowly got closer to the other members too

-although you were sad that you couldn't really talk to jeonghan

-you quite often asked the other members what he was like

-and they happily complied

-especially now that you could somewhat understand them

-whenever you didn't

-you'd either look at Hansol or Joshua for translation help

-which was nice as a backup

-one time you switched while he was at practice

-in the middle of a song

-which caused you to screw up

-"uhhh, sorry for the trouble, but hi"

-you then moved off to the side to not get in the way

-and then took his phone out to take a recording of the rest of the boys

-just to make sure he knew the dance

-and to know what he missed

-you then took a couple of cute pictures because why not

-and then sent them to Joshua

-asking if he could later send them to you

-which Jeonghan noticed your phone light up when he sent them

-he couldn't actually get into your phone

-because passcode

-but he was still able to respond

-luckily you had installed a Korean keyboard onto your phone so you could message the rest of the boys

-so jeonghan then sent a text back to Joshua with his phone number saying "text me"

-Joshua was confused but then realized what was happening

-he decided not to mention it to you

-until you switched back to your own body

-which you then made one of the pictures of Jeonghan your phone's wallpaper

-and then shot him a text

-"Jeonghan?"

-"Is this (Y/N)?"

-"yea."

-he paused for a moment

-he had gotten so excited that he didn't plan ahead to say what would happen

-"sorry for the wait, I'm just so excited to meet you"

-"I'm excited to meet you too, I never expected to meet you this soon"

-he then sent you funny and cute pictures of him and the other members

-which then caused him to send him funny pictures of you

-you both ended up laughing and laughing until you two decided to face call

-other members popped in and said hello

-so you kindly said hello back

-Jeonghan commented on how weird it was seeing videos of himself that he didn't record

-but he did enjoy that you did that for him

-now that you could understand most of the notes he left

-you commented on how cute and sweet he was

-even if you didn't understand at first

-the biggest struggle though

-was when you switched during a concert

-you knew some of the moves

-but couldn't dance nearly as well as he could

-nor could you control your voice as well

-so you snuck over to Joshua and told him in-between songs

-he gave you a quick look but wasn't sure what to do

-so you continued on as Jeonghan

-not doing as bad as you thought you would

-but then realized how many fans noticed that he seemed a little off

-because now that you knew about the boys

-you decided to get into their music and everything

-so you became a Carat

-woohoo you loved them all

-but your bias was obviously Jeonghan

-which was funny

-because when you first got into them

-he was the only member you hadn't met

-but it was probably because you were his soulmate

-so you felt a connection of sorts with him

-but wow

-he was beautiful

-good god

-anyway

-you tried to stay out of discussions about their concert

-because you didn't want to accidentally reveal what happened

-but the worst one

-was when you switched during a v live

-your Korean still wasn't perfect

-so you kept looking at Joshua with a concerned look on your face

-trying as hard as you could to not screw up

-so you casually moved yourself next to him

-and every once in a while you'd forget to respond

-because you had gotten used to the members calling you (Y/N)

-but it was a v live

-so they couldn't do that

-they tried to end it as soon as possible for your sake

-but it's not always how life works

-you ended up in his body for a few days that time

-you both knew each other's passwords by now

-so you still called and texted

-but wow you felt bad

-he kept ending up behind because you switched bodies with him

-so one night you felt extremely bad about it

-and he called you while you happened to be crying

-you explained why

-and he said it was fine

-especially since you were taking videos

-and sending them to your phone just to make sure he could still practice at least a little

-he made jokes

-and complimented you

-and did everything within his power to make you smile

-which worked

-and god he was happy it did

-he hated seeing you so sad like that

-especially since he couldn't do anything about the two of you switching bodies

-he accidentally let it slip that he and the rest of seventeen was going on an international tour and would have a concert somewhere near you

-which he already had a backstage pass for you

-since he really wanted to meet you

-and just wow

-he wanted to surprise you

-and make you happy

-and he did

-on the night of the concert

-you were running a little late due to trying to look perfect for him

-which honestly he thought you didn't need to try

-but that was beyond the point

-you still made it there before the concert

-and the moment he heard you were there

-he left the space where he was getting his makeup done

-whoops

-and went on a journey to find you

-the moment he laid his eyes on you

-he sprinted over to you

-and wrapped you in a tight hug

-which startled you since you quite literally didn't see it coming

-so you let out a surprised gasp

-and then realized it was him

-so you squealed in happiness

-excited to see him in person

-and not be in his body

-to surprise you even more

-he placed a kiss on your lips

-before dragging you with him so he could get his makeup finished

-while you were over there

-the rest of the members gave you hugs too

-some only half dressed because they were still getting ready

-but it's not like it was the first time it happened

-they sometimes forgot that you and Jeonghan switched bodies

-so

-they'd be walking around

-and you'd see

-and shuffle away

-anyway

-during the concert

-you waited in the wings

-holding water and a towel for jeonghan

-because you figured you where there so could hold his so the stage hands didn't have to

-and it seems like her forgot that he was sweaty

-cause he hugged you anyway

-not that you minded

-but whoops

-either way you were happy to meet him

-even if you couldn't be with him for long at the time

-before seventeen left to go to the next concert though

-he did come to your house to meet your parents

-so they could see the boy who had been switching bodies with their child

-and they loved him

-well

-they already did

-but I mean

-first time meeting him in his body

-even after he left

-he still called you nightly

-and texted you daily

-and sent the weirdest of pictures to you

-because why not

-and you loved it

-and you loved him

-and he loved you

-so it worked out even if you couldn't see each other often

-you did casually get a ticket to Korea without telling him though

-you were talking to Joshua about it

-just to make sure he was free

-and

-he was so surprised

-that he started crying

-and accidentally kissed you in public

-he was happy to hold you in his arms once again
