Part 3: ATEEZ (Choi San, Jung Wooyoung and Choi Jongho)

Choi San and Choi Jongho stand at the back of the vampire town, deep in thought. They are trapped here, contemplating their next move to save Jung Wooyoung from the eerie woods and get out alive.

"We need to come up with something...we can't just hide out here forever," Jongho hisses to San.

"We need to find Wooyoungie," San agrees.

Suddenly vampires appear, blocking their pathway. Woojin stands in the center, gleaming with darkness. His red-contacts blaze with amusement as he throws a cloaked arm out to either side of him in a command.

"Well, well, well, what have we here...two little Ateez kids lost in our domain?"

"Shut up, Woojin!" Jongho snarls. "I have three-times the pipes you'll ever have! And Yeosang's ten-times prettier than you!"

"You have to bring up Yeosangie?" San whispers.

Woojin cackles, before Jongho can respond. "You'll never find Wooyoung! And you'll never succeed in getting out of my town!"

Jung Wooyoung tests the ropes holding his arms behind him. He has been sat in a chair, inside of a small animal-like hut. Two vampire minions have been placed in charge of guarding and watching him. He can feel the roughness of the manila scratching his skin and he screams in frustration.

"I want my Sannie!" Wooyoung whines, rocking back and forth. "Give him to me now!!"

One of the vampires whirls around and glares at him. "Shut up!"

"SANNIE!!" Wooyoung screams.

"Of all the annoying Ateez members, he was chosen to be the bait for San and the prized maknae?" the other vampire grumbles to his friend with a roll of his eyes. "San-obsessed hostage, Wooyoung."

Wooyoung kicks at the ground and screams out, "Sannie!" over and over again. "I want my Sannie!!"

"And I want a million dollars!" the first vampire guard snaps back. "Seriously, shut the hell up!"

"Make me!" Wooyoung bites back, jerking forward and almost taking himself and chair to the ground.

"I'd be careful," the other vampire sneers. "Making you shut up might not be something you'd like. If I were you, I'd give up the whining and screaming and instead focus on the pretty picture of your Sannie coming to rescue you."

"How do you know?" San snaps at Woojin. "Maybe the others have found him, while you're worried about the two of us!"

Woojin snickers, stalking closer to them. "The others aren't here. There's no Yeosang, no Hongjoong, no Mingi, no Yunho, no Seunghwa...only you two!"

"SANNIE!!" Wooyoung's faint scream can be heard after Woojin's comment. "HELP ME!!"

The scream makes Woojin's smirk darken and twist even more. "Looks like one of the pretty Ateez kids is in terrible trouble...must be Wooyoung."

"I love my Sannie and he'll find me. And when he does, he'll make everyone pay!" Wooyoung says. "Especially for tying me up!"

The two vampire guards exchange annoyed looks with one another. If it were up to them, they'd be making a move to shut the hostage up, but Woojin had ordered them not to do anything other than make sure he stayed put.

Wooyoung finally finds the weak spot of the ropes around his wrists. He works his hands until, he can feel the ropes loosen and slip off of him. He smartly keeps on the guards, making them think there is nothing wrong and keeps his arms pinned behind him, though he can feel his muscles are sore from his peril.

"Look, we get it!" one of the vampires groans. "Can you please just be quiet? I'm sure San's on his way and will be here any minute. But you must realize how obnoxious you are? Just..."

Wooyoung seizes the opportunity as the vampires share another look with one another. He charges from the chair and battles them both, slipping them and racing off. The two vampires grunt and give chase.

"SANNIE!! HELP ME!!" Wooyoung screams out, dashing into the woods. He's not so sure he knows or wants to find out how fast a vampire's speed is. He tosses glances over his shoulder to see if they are still following him. He is panicked and frightened, but he keeps on running.

Woojin stalks toward San and Jongho, pushing them back against the wall of a building. They can't jump the fence to escape. And San refuses to leave without Wooyoung or knowing that Wooyoung is safe. That scream just told him that he wasn't.

"Yeah, I lied," Woojin snarls. "I lied about this being a behind the scenes set-up and about the others being here to play against you."

He flicks his hands, signaling his gang behind him to close in. They form a semi-circle, blocking any possible escape route for San and Jongho. Their only way is to fight their way out. But for now, they are subject to Woojin's villain-like speech.

"I've messed with BTS and Stray Kids and now it's your turn!" Woojin snickers, throwing his head back.

At that moment, Wooyoung bursts into the town, stumbling out of the woods. He is panicked and he keeps looking back at the woods, not realizing that there is the gang of vampires with Woojin entrapping San and Jongho.

Wooyoung finally sees them, gasping and he trips over a tree root sticking out the ground. He falls with a scream to the ground, with alerts San and Jongho in the middle. They know he's around.

Instantly, San finds a hole inbetween two vampires. He watches in stunned horror as Wooyoung falls to the ground and then sees the two vampire guards burst from the woods and spring at him.

"Wooyoungie, no!" San gasps.

Wooyoung screams as the two grab his arms and yank Wooyoung up to his feet. He's bleeding from a cut to his lip, probably busted when he fell in his panicked state. They begin to drag him back toward the woods.

Wooyoung fights against the grips and the momentum, kicking and screaming.

It fills San with a new energy. Jongho watches in shock as the hyung springs at Woojin, taking him by surprise with the inside of his arm. Then he parkours the cluster of vampires and springs over them, landing on the ground on the other side like an action movie star. He charges after the struggling Wooyoung.

"Sannie!!" Wooyoung shouts out.

"I'm coming, Wooyoungie, hang on!" San grunts and catches up. He snatches Wooyoung's hands and yanks him from the vampire's grips with a shocking ease. He is surprised by his own strength, but thankful.

The vampires, realizing they no longer have a hold on Wooyoung, spin around. But Wooyoung and San are sprinting at full speed back to help Jongho out. The vampires have closed in on him and Jongho is struggling to get out of the middle.

Woojin has vanished.

Conveniently.

Wooyoung and San work together to fend off the vampires from the Ateez maknae, grabbing him by a hand and pull him away from the vampire horde. They race away from the far end, seeing that it will take forever to escape that way.

They head around the grand oak and launch for the main entrance. Thankfully, it is wide open, not sealed like it had been for a few BTS members. The giant rock that Jungkook and V had climbed up to the roof still sits to the side. But they will not have to worry about going that route.

They push for the open fence and burst through it and out. The vampires halt, hissing and spitting in a fury.

Wooyoung, San and Jongho skid to a halt in the middle of the valet parking circle, nearly being hit by a car in the process. A loud honk and screech of tires follows and the car guns around them, the driver upset but leaving them unharmed.

They catch their breaths, looking back at the fenced entrance.

"That...we're not doing that again..." San gasps out.

"I agree. At least you didn't have to be chloroformed by Woojin..." Wooyoung remarks, wiping his arms.

San shakes his head, letting out a snort of relief. "True. That asshole." He straightens up and looks at Wooyoung to make sure that he is okay. He spots the crimson on his lip. "Oh, baby, no, you're bleeding." He turns to Wooyoung, walks over to him and wipes the sleeve of his long-sleeved shirt on his busted lip. "Sannie's got it for you."

"Thank you, Sannie. You're the bestest," Wooyoung coos, giving San dreamy, romantic heart eyes.

"You two are so gay," Jongho remarks with a roll of his eyes. "Just don't start kissing or making out in front of me."
