Louis POV
Louis had not long arrived at the resort that he would be spending the season at. He arrived a week or so before the first lot of partygoers were due to start their holiday as he had to get settled, meet the rest of his team, get to know the hotel, bars and area better despite being in the same spot the year before. He was also chosen from his manager to show the new reps around and explain what was expected of them. Which in all honesty, wasn't a lot. They were set out to ensure that everyone in the 18-30 which were the majority of their hotel as they weren't for families or those that wished for a peaceful or relaxing holiday as there would be constant partying, drinking and loud music till late had the best time possible and that they were giving all the correct information. They were to look after them in a way, however, this was not always the easiest nor the most successful task as the reps set out to get everyone as drunk as possible and having a good time.
They arranged boat trips for those that were interested and gave them discounts to certain clubs, pubs, restaurants (which was kind of pointless as very few remembered to eat well until the early hours which meant they had the greasiest most fattening food possible that in their minds tasted amazing due to their hunger and the fact that the amount of alcohol consumed probably killed their taste buds).
Louis both loathed and loved this time he had to himself in a beautiful hot country before it was ruined for the season with the amount of trouble the young Brits cause on holiday. He, as well as the rest of his team had to go around and find the best deals possible for their residents in the hotel they stayed at and work out best routes for some of the bar crawls that he would be leading throughout the summer.
Louis had just gotten rid of the overly excited rep that was on his first ever season abroad. He wouldn't stop following Louis around like a lost puppy, jumping all over the place and shouting about God knows what in his ear.
Shaking his head with a grimace, he smiled to himself mischievously at the fact that he had left the idiot with one of his best friends Zayn. Zayn would have to put up with him along with those who were assigned to learn from him as he had also been a rep at the same place the year previous, along with Liam. Zayn wasn't shy as such but he was a lot quieter than the rest, which People didn't see how he would be a good holiday rep however he was really good at his job. Once Zayn had a drink on him, or was high he was probably one of the greatest laughs, he was also very caring towards both residents and workers. Which was a good balance.
Just before Louis left the hotel to sort out discounts and see what changes has been made around the resort since he had last been, he saw many of the new workers stare towards Zayn like he was some god and as though the actually believed that he was going to interact with them and tell them what to do. He was too busy with his earphones in and probably texting his boyfriend Liam despite being in the same building. They had absolutely no chance.
Louis believed that it was stupid to 'train' these people and they were either going to be naturally talented at entertaining, drinking and partying like himself or they were going to be absolutely shit and should probably get the next flight home. He looked at the reasonably large number of these buffoons and placed bets in his mind of how long they will actually last.
Liam was more the daddy of the group and the most responsible member. Those were in Louis most kindest words. In more accurate words, he was boring. He always called off the partying the earliest if he felt as though things may be getting a little out of hand and he always gave everyone lectures for the most easiest of mistakes. Louis loved him none the less and had been friends with him since primary school. He met Zayn when he was around 3/4 in nursery.
Louis had put the lowest number he could get away with of sunscreen so his skin could get to the sun initially that it wasn't used to will the dull weather he was used to in Doncaster. He usually switched from this to a little oil now and again to build on his none existent tan at the moment, just in time for the holiday makers to arrive. He didn't want too look like a milk bottle, or worse, a piece of bread.
He couldn't wait until potential one night stands start to arrive as he knew from previous experience that the locals weren't as easy to get into bed. Although he liked a challenge, he was often too busy to spend his whole time on one individual therefore, as horrible to admit, easy was sometimes better.
He had high expectations for this year and one thing he did love about his job is the amount of friendships that he has made from it. He just hopes he doesn't get liver poisoning in the meantime. Or worse, fall in love. Sniggering at himself, he shook his head like that was going to happen.
