Chad Darby: Welcome back to JWF Thunder, everybody! Tonight we've witnessed Chad Gable gaining some momentum, and The Usos defeating La Familia Mysterio with help from their cousin Aiga. But now, we get to watch The American Nightmare take on a "Wanted Man" in Nic Nemeth!

The crowd in the Thunder arena is on fire, the energy palpable as Samantha Irvin stands in the center of the ring, microphone in hand.

Samantha Irvin: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Cleveland, Ohio, weighing in at 218 pounds... Nic Nemeth!

Nemeth's theme music hits as he walks onto the stage with his signature swagger, the audience giving a mix of cheers and jeers. Dressed in his sparkling tights, he smirks confidently at the crowd before sliding into the ring and showing off his athleticism with a quick series of push-ups.

Chad Darby: Nemeth has been around the block and back. His speed and technical skills make him a dangerous competitor. But tonight, he's up against the American Nightmare himself.

Nemeth stretches against the ropes, warming up and keeping his eyes focused on the stage as the lights dim.

Samantha Irvin: And his opponent, from Atlanta, Georgia, weighing in at 220 pounds... The American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes!

The familiar chords of Kingdom play as the crowd erupts in a deafening cheer. Cody Rhodes steps onto the stage, his signature jacket shimmering under the lights. He takes a moment to soak in the reaction, pointing to the fans before making his way to the ring with purpose. Sliding into the ring, Cody mounts the corner, lifting his arms to rally the crowd even more.

Chad Darby: Cody Rhodes has been on a roll lately, and you can tell he's laser-focused tonight. He's got his eyes on getting himself some gold, and a win here will only fuel his momentum.

The referee calls for the bell.

DING DING DING

The match starts with a traditional collar-and-elbow tie-up. Nemeth quickly transitions to a side headlock, wrenching Cody's neck. Cody counters, pushing Nemeth off into the ropes and dropping him with a shoulder tackle. Cody runs the ropes, leaping over Nemeth on the rebound. Nemeth springs up, attempting a dropkick, but Cody sidesteps, sending Nemeth crashing to the mat.

Cody capitalizes with a quick knee drop to Nemeth's chest, going for an early cover.

Nemeth kicks out!

Chad Darby: Cody's wasting no time here, but Nemeth's resilience is well-documented.

Cody pulls Nemeth to his feet and whips him into the corner. Charging forward, Cody attempts a stinger splash, but Nemeth rolls out of the way. Cody hits the turnbuckle hard, and Nemeth immediately pounces with a chop block to Cody's left leg, taking him down.

Nemeth grins, pointing to his head to signify his strategy. He grabs Cody's leg and starts targeting the knee with stomps, softening him up for a potential Figure-Four Leglock.

Chad Darby: Smart move by Nemeth, focusing on the leg. Take away Cody's base, and you nullify some of his most explosive moves. The Cody Cutter, The Distaster Kick, neither of his best moves can be done if he can't push off the ropes. Incredible strategy from Nemeth here.

Nemeth drags Cody to the center of the ring and locks in the Figure-Four! Cody writhes in pain, the crowd clapping in unison, willing him to fight out of it. Cody starts to shift his weight, and after a struggle, he reverses the pressure!

Nemeth quickly releases the hold, rolling to the ropes to regain his composure. Cody limps to his feet, shaking off the pain, and when Nemeth approaches, Cody catches him with a snap powerslam out of nowhere!

The crowd pops as Cody gets to his feet, firing up. He stalks Nemeth, waiting for him to rise. Cody attempts Cross Rhodes, but Nemeth twists out, countering into a backslide!

1... 2...
Cody kicks out!

Both men scramble to their feet, and Nemeth immediately nails Cody with a picture-perfect dropkick, dropping him again. Nemeth goes for the pin.

1... 2...
Cody kicks out again!

Nemeth grows frustrated, slapping the mat and yelling at the referee. He climbs to the top rope, looking for a high-risk maneuver. Nemeth launches off with a diving elbow drop, but Cody rolls out of the way at the last second!

Chad Darby: Crash and burn! Nemeth went for it all, and it cost him big time!

Both men are down, but Cody is the first to stir, pulling himself up with the ropes. Nemeth stumbles to his feet, and Cody charges, hitting a huge Disaster Kick! Nemeth stumbles back, dazed, as Cody hooks him and finally nails Cross Rhodes in the center of the ring!

Cody covers Nemeth.

1... 2...

Nemeth kicks out!

Chad Darby: You've got to be kidding me! Nic Nemeth kicks out of Cross Rhodes!

The crowd is stunned, and Cody looks at the referee, disbelief etched across his face. Wasting no time, Cody signals for the end, climbing to the middle rope and stalking Nemeth. As Nemeth gets to his feet, Cody leaps, going for the Cody Cutter-but Nemeth shoves the referee into Cody's path!

Cody collides with the referee, knocking him down as both men crash to the mat.

Chad Darby: The referee's out cold! Nemeth used him as a human shield!

Nemeth seizes the opportunity, delivering a vicious low blow to Cody while the referee is still down. Cody crumples to the mat, clutching himself in agony, as the crowd erupts into boos.

Chad Darby: Oh, come on! This is disgusting!

Nemeth smirks, soaking in the jeers. As Cody tries to pull himself up on wobbly legs, Nemeth strikes with a thunderous Superkick, dropping Cody to the mat. The referee stirs, slowly crawling toward the action.

Nemeth scrambles into the cover, hooking both legs.

1... 2... 3!

DING DING DING

Samantha Irvin: Here is your winner... Nic Nemeth!

Nemeth rolls out of the ring, a sly grin plastered on his face as he raises his arms in victory. The crowd rains boos down on him, but Nemeth revels in the reaction, pointing to his head and shouting about how smart he is.

Chad Darby: Nic Nemeth just stole this one! Cody Rhodes had this match won until Nemeth resorted to underhanded tactics!

In the ring, Cody sits up, holding his head and glaring toward Nemeth, who continues his celebration up the ramp. Cody shakes his head, the fire in his eyes telling the world that this isn't over.

Chad Darby: Cody Rhodes will not forget this. Nemeth better watch his back, because when the American Nightmare comes for revenge, it's going to be nothing short of a nightmare for Nic Nemeth!

Thunder cuts to a commercial as Nemeth backs up the ramp, taunting the fuming Cody in the ring.
