JWF Thunder Ep.37 Pt.3½

The celebration of the Street Profits barely fades before Judgment Day's music hits again, this time signaling the arrival of Rhea Ripley, Isla Dawn, and Stunning Jay. The three walk out with a slow, methodical pace, their eyes fixated on the ring. There's no urgency in their step, just the cold, calculating presence of a faction that’s always one move ahead. Edge, still seething from his failed interference, stands outside the ring, watching his teammates—Aiden Ryker and Karrion Kross—recover from their loss. His face hardens as Rhea, Isla, and Jay approach, flanked by an air of authority.

Judgment Day surrounds Edge at ringside, with Rhea stepping forward first. She doesn’t say a word at first, just staring at him, hands on her hips. Edge shakes his head, muttering something under his breath as he looks away, clearly frustrated by the situation. But Rhea doesn’t back down. She takes a step closer, her voice calm yet assertive.

Rhea: What happened out there, Edge? This wasn’t the plan.

Edge scoffs, looking up at the rest of Judgment Day. His frustration starts to spill out as he rubs his jaw, then snaps back.

Edge: What happened? I tried to fix your mess, that's what happened. Where were you when Kross and Ryker were losing, huh? You expect me to just sit on the sidelines while they—

Rhea holds up a hand, cutting him off.

Rhea: This isn’t about them. This is about you. Your leadership was supposed to make us stronger, not drag us down. You were supposed to be the one guiding us, showing us the way to dominate this place.

Edge throws his arms up, clearly losing his patience.

Edge: I was guiding you. I’ve been carrying this group since day one! I made Judgment Day what it is! Without me, none of you would even—

Before he can finish, Stunning Jay steps forward. His cold gaze locks onto Edge, his voice quiet but firm.

Jay: Without you, we’d be better off. You've become a liability.

Edge’s eyes widen in disbelief, his expression twisting into one of anger and shock. He looks at Jay, then back at Rhea and Isla, clearly not expecting this kind of confrontation.

Edge: Are you serious right now? After everything I’ve done for you all?

Rhea steps closer now, her tone still supportive but with a distinct finality.

Rhea: You’ve done a lot, Edge. No one’s denying that. But tonight... tonight you failed. Aiden and Karrion needed you, and you didn’t get the job done.

Edge shakes his head again, laughing bitterly.

Edge: So what? You’re just gonna turn your backs on me now? After everything? After all the wars we’ve been through together?

Rhea offers him a sad smile, almost pitying him.

Rhea: No one’s turning their back on you, Edge. We’re just... moving forward. And you? You’re not part of that anymore.

Edge steps back, his eyes darting between each member of Judgment Day. His heart sinks as he realizes what's happening, his expression darkening. But before he can react, Jay’s foot snaps up in a blink, catching Edge square in the jaw with a vicious superkick. The sound reverberates throughout the arena, and Edge crumples to the ground in a heap, clutching his jaw in shock and pain.

The crowd gasps, stunned by the sudden betrayal. Edge writhes on the floor, looking up in disbelief as Stunning Jay looms over him. Rhea, Isla, and Jay don’t hesitate for a second—they descend on Edge with brutal precision. Kicks, punches, and stomps rain down on the fallen legend, the assault unrelenting. Rhea stomps on his ribs, Isla targets his back, and Jay, with the cold efficiency of a man with a purpose, drives his boot repeatedly into Edge’s chest.

Aiden and Karrion, still recovering, watch from inside the ring, their expressions indifferent, making no move to help their former leader. This was inevitable, and everyone knew it.

Edge tries to crawl toward the timekeeper's area, but Jay grabs him by the hair and hauls him up, holding him steady as Rhea plants a hard boot into his gut. Edge doubles over, gasping for breath, but Judgment Day offers no mercy. Isla hits him with a brutal knee to the side of his head, sending him collapsing to the mat once more.

As Edge lies motionless, Rhea stands over him, her arms crossed, looking down at the man who once led them with a cold, unforgiving stare. Jay pulls Edge up by his hair one final time, forcing him to his knees, and leans in close.

Jay: You should’ve seen this coming.

With that, Jay delivers one last superkick, the blow so fierce that it sends Edge sprawling to the outside of the ring, his body landing in a heap on the floor below.

The crowd, still in stunned silence, watches as Judgment Day stands tall in the center of the ring, their message clear. Rhea, Isla, and Jay turn their attention back to the fallen Edge, their expressions cold and resolute. There is no remorse, no hesitation. This was business.

Judgment Day has spoken, and Edge—once the architect of their rise—now lay discarded like yesterday's news. The crowd slowly begins to understand what they’ve just witnessed: the end of an era. Edge, the man who built Judgment Day, had been cast out, replaced by the very faction he had molded in his image.

Rhea Ripley looks down at Edge one last time before turning to face the crowd. Her voice cuts through the air like a knife.

Rhea: This... is what happens when you fail. Judgment Day doesn’t need dead weight. We only keep the strongest, the most ruthless. And Edge? You’re neither.

The crowd, finally processing the brutality of what they’ve witnessed, begins to boo, but Judgment Day pays no mind. They’ve made their statement, and nothing else matters.

Stunning Jay, Rhea Ripley, and Isla Dawn raise their arms in unison, their dominance solidified in the most ruthless way possible. Edge is left broken on the outside, a shell of the leader he once was, as Judgment Day moves forward without him.

The message is clear: there’s no room for weakness in Judgment Day. Not even for the man who started it all.
