Despite his height and strength disadvantage, Danielson was on the offensive against Drew. he was hammering Drew with punches in the corner, until Drew pushes Bryan off, seemingly gaining some momentum, but then getting hit by a running knee by Danielson. McIntyre gets pushed back into the corner by the force, and gets hit with another two running knees.

 Danielson, relentless in his pursuit of victory, continued to capitalize on the advantage. McIntyre, despite his resilience, found himself trapped in the corner. The cheers of the crowd intensified as Danielson prepared for another devastating move. As he charged toward McIntyre for a third running knee, the anticipation in the arena reached a fever pitch.

However, McIntyre, fueled by the support of the audience, summoned his last reserves of strength. With a sudden burst of energy, he sidestepped Danielson's oncoming knee, causing Bryan to crash into the turnbuckle. Seizing the opportunity, McIntyre quickly irish whipped Danielson into the ropes. McIntyre delivers the Claymore Kick, sending Danielson to the mat for the pin.
