Chapter 29 "Money talks"
"Work it girl!", Lugini claps in excitement.
We are currently shooting a commercial. Grey Global has been so busy this past weeks and I've been doing shoots after shoots since I'm now a full time employee.
Due to Jason and I's busy schedules lately. We haven't spent any time together. However today I have a surprise for him.
"How did it come out?"
"Perfect as always", Lugini winks as she wraps everything up.
I hug her goodbye and head to the dressing room to dry myself up and change, so I can meet Jason after.

"Where are we going?", Jason furrows his brows.
"If I tell you it won't no longer be a surprise would it?"
"Don't be a smart ass", Jason rolls his eyes playfully.
"Park right there!"
"Who do you know from here?", Jason raises a brow confused.
I say nothing grabbing his hand pulling him into the old brown building.
As soon as we enter, Jason gazes around completely confused on why we are here.
"Hello!", a group of kids shout excitedly standing up from the wooden floor.
"Where are we? Who are they?", Jason hastily whispers into my ear.
"They're orphans that I invited out for a dance session", I smile.
Jason is completely stunned as he peers at me and at the children.
"Why did you do that?", he mumbles.
"After you told me about everything you've been through when you were in the orphanage all I could think about was what can I do to help those in need and then it hit me. Children living under those conditions need to be out and dance because I remember as a kid I loved to dance.. these kids need to have fun and taken out from being locked away.. they need to live life you know like you said before kids want to be kids", I explain glancing at Jason and at the children getting their dance shoes on.
Jason doesn't say a word instead he's beaming at me with admiration.
"I wouldn't have ever thought of this.. you truly impress me everyday Aleysa"
"Not all rich people are the same Jason", I smirk completely satisfied with his reaction.
"Your dad won't be pissed? I'm sure all of this must of been expensive"
"I used my own money to pay for all of this it's honestly nothing"
"Wow, how did you even manage to get the System to release these kids to come here?", Jason raises a brow.
"Like you said babe money talks", I wink heading towards the dance floor to get this evening started.
Various songs are being played and at first these poor children are so shy so antisocial. I mean I wouldn't blame them look at the life they're living. This innocent children never asked for this type of life.
I could feel my heart break from just seeing how broken they are. All my life I've been spoiled and never once knew the struggle. Regardless of my father being away never being there for me at least he always had me bathed, fed, a roof over my head, and clothed.
My mother always raised me to be kind and never let my blessed life change me. Being humble is key and to always treat with respect a janitor the same way I do to a CEO. We're all human and we're all so valuable no matter what she always said.
Sometimes your so focused on your own life and what's going on whether it's good or bad that you tend to forget about the less fortunate. Shit all of the stuff I complain about isn't anything compared to what Jason went through and these innocent kids. It's time I help others because that's what life is all about. We're all one big family. We're all the same species.
"Come one everybody let's all clap", I squeak trying everything I think of to get them interested and to know it's safe here.
At first they were a bit awkward and weirded out by how I was acting, but soon enough they all started to clap getting lost in the music.
Jason is clapping warily watching my every move almost admiring me. I glance at him and smile signaling him to join me, but being the macho man he is he doesn't give in.
Suddenly I step out from the crowd and I begin to dance getting lost in the rhythm of the music.
All of the children start cheering and changing while clapping louder than earlier. A grin forms on my lips as I see smiles and laughter on their faces.
After a few minutes of dancing by myself a beautiful little girl steps out of the crowd dancing along with me.
I smile at her as I see pure happiness on her face. I can tell this girl loves to dance just like I did as a child and so we both dance.
Jason's pov
I beam at Aleysa and the little girl who are laughing and dancing. I'm stunned by her sweet gesture.
The way she turned this quiet room with timid children into a party within minutes with so much laughter, smiles, and cheers really impressed me.
These timid children are now fully being themselves having fun they probably haven't had in years and it's all thanks to Aleysa.
I can't take my eyes off of her. I can't stop grinning from watching her dance with the little girl and soon enough all of the other kids lose their shyness and join the two.
This girl is really one of a kind and each day I can feel myself fall deeper and deeper for her. My mother was right about me finding a girl that's going to see the good in me and show me good.
I'm sure if my mother was still alive she would absolutely love Aleysa the same way I do. I'm really glad I crossed paths with her even though in the beginning I was a complete prick to her.
However I must admit I'm a bit terrified of what I'm feeling. I'm so used to living this criminal life I mean it's all I've known in order to survive in this cruel world. Aleysa always tells me to quit this lifestyle because it's so dangerous and she's scared for me, but truth is I just don't know if I can.
