John Pov
Alex fell to the floor instantly when Lee hit him.

"What the fuck?!" I shouted, rushing to Alex's aid.

"What a pussy." Lee muttered.

"He's the pussy? At least he doesn't play with fucking toys still!" I shouted, fully aware that he has a stash of stuffed animals.

"They are not toys! They j-just keep me company." Lee defended.

A few snickers were made from his group. "Guys!" Lee hissed.

I saw a bruise form on Alex's jaw.

"That's it. Give me a gun." I said, standing up.

"A-Are you insane? No f-fucking way!" One of the guys who I recognized to be Seabury said.

I scoffed and turned to Lee.
"Give me a fucking gun. We are going to have a duel. Old style. The winner gets to shoot the whole group. Yeah that's right, I'm fully aware of where my group is, unlike my bumbling idiots whom I call friends...and boyfriend." I muttered, looking at Alex, still passed out on the ground.

"You're on." He growled, shaking my hand.

"We do this at dawn. It's still dark out. Three clicks north of Weehawken." I said.

"Three clicks...you mean six miles?" He asked.

"Six point two. I'll see you there, right?" I asked.

"Right. I'll give you your gun when we arrive. Chose one of your bumbling idiots as your second. Let's go gentlemen." Lee said to his group, now trudging away.

Six miles by dawn.

I guess I'll be carrying Alex six fucking miles. Unless his ass decides to wake up. I bet Seabury is going to be Lees second.

I hate them, but I totally ship it.

Alexander Pov
       I opened my eyes. Pain filled my head. Pounding on my skull like it wanted- no, needed to escaped. I groaned.

"Oh. You're awake." John noted.

I nodded. I was on his back, but once he realized I was awake, I was on my butt.

"I'm dueling Lee at dawn." He told me.

I stood up and wiped off my pants.

"Yeah that's nice.
Wait.
WHAT?!" I shouted, actually processing what he had said.

"Yeah. And you're my second." He said, still walking.

I rushed to catch up with him.

"I did not sign up for this." I said.

He stopped. "Alex, you're for once in you're life can you just let something happen? I may be your boyfriend but I can make my own decisions. And maybe if you didn't run your mouth, Lee wouldn't of hurt you, and I wouldn't have gotten mad and challenged Lee to a duel. Now just come on. Laf and Herc are watching, let's go."

"Wait Wait Wait. You Challenged him?" I hissed.

"Yup. Now let's go." He said a bit more urgently.

"What the fuck John?" I said, making it obvious I wasn't going to move.

"Alex. We need to go." He said, annoyed.

"Okay, Okay. Just promise me one thing." I said.

"Okay What is it? Hurry up." He practically whined.
