"So you actually went to his mansion?" Pandora asked.

"Yeah." Mason says.

"Weren't you guys even scared?" Mason Jr. asked.

"Well some of us were." Mason glances at Pepé and Lou who smiled nervously.

"Not me. Even some of Wolf's pranks couldn't scare me." Drago said proudly.

"Heh. That's because you were in the military once. It toughened you up." Mason said to the Komodo Dragon. "Anyway, we were now on our way to Reginald E. Scary's Mansion."

Soon the group arrives at the front gates of Reginald E. Scary's Mansion.

"Uh, I-I'll stand lookout by the car, w-while you search this very not scary, definitely not haunted mansion" Pepé says.

"Aw, man! But I'm already disguised as the lookout. Guess we'll both have to do it. Bummer" Lou Shark said.

"We don't need a lookout. Come on." Mason Wolf said to them.

"You see kids, Pepé Piranha and Lou Shark were too chicken to enter." Mason said to the kids.

Pandora and the children laugh making the two gill people embarrassed.

"Well, it wasn't our fault!" Pepé says.

"Yeah it was a haunted house!" Lou says to them.

"It was not at all haunted." Drago says and the others bickered.

"Ahem, continue Dad." Mason Jr. interrupted the fight.

"Ok as I was..." Mason Wolf said as he continued.

"Scary built this place as a fortress against thieves. These gates aren't gonna open themselves..." Mason said to the group.

Wolf pulls out his grabbling hook but the gates opened magically by themselves it freaked out Mason Wolf.

"Huh. L-Lucky gust of wind" Mason stammered.

Pandora and the kids laughed.

"You should've seen his face Pandora." Tara says, "The big bad boy afraid of a little gate opening."

"Really" She asked as she looks at Wolf.

"Hehehe well..." Mason Wolf said as he rubs the back of his neck. "Anyway."

The lightning spooked them and green gas filled the air from Piranha farting. Wolf gets back in and drives inside, and Hubert Snake slithered up to the doors picking the locks.

"Ooh! Scary used offset pins on the lock. Notoriously tough to crack. But to a boxman like me, it's like dining on caviar." Hubert said as he picks it.

"Snake like always was bragging about how good he can pick a lock." Mason says offending Hubert.

"Hey, I don't hear the kids or my kids complaining about it at least they like my pick locking." Hubert said.

"They like whatever you do." Mason said.

"You're just jealous because you can't pick lock anything." Hubert said.

Pandora, Mason Jr., Moe, Willow, Viper, Skales, and Lily were annoyed by their dads' bickering.

"Alright you two enough!" Pandora said as she breaks up the fight.

"He started!" Hubert points to Mason.

"I don't care who started end it, now Wolf as you were saying?" Pandora said.

"Right as I was saying." Mason said.

The door opened and it was dark, Wolf turned on his flashlight and they see old antiques and a portrait of scary.

"And no Wi-Fi." Tara Tarantula says. "Not sure this heist needs a hacker."

"...this heist needs a hacker."

"Uh, is the creepy echo mocking me?" Tara asked.

"Is the creepy echo mocking me?"

"It's just an echo" Mason says.

"Then how come your voice isn't echoing?" Webs asked.

"...your voice... echoing."

"Come on, we gotta find the crypt where legend says Scary died with the amulet." Mason Wolf says as he hands each one of them a flashlight.

The guys split up looking around.

"You split up!" Lily gasped.

"Well yeah." Mason says.

"But don't you guys watch horror movies, the first rule is never split up." Viper said.

"Everything was okay." Mason says.

Back to the story, they looked around and shark shined his light at a weird statue.

He screamed then the others screamed which lead to present Lou Shark actually screaming.

This causes Pandora and the kids to scream.

"What now?" Wolf groaned.

"We're all out of Hershey full bars." Lou whined.

"And lollipops!" Miguel cried.

"Ugh, here take half of mine." Wolf rolled his eyes and throws his bar and lollipop to Lou and Miguel.

"What attacked Lou?" Pandora asked.

"Relax Pandora, it was just a-" Mason said.

"Guys, it's a statue!" Wolf assured them.

"I can't believe dad was afraid of a statue." Gray giggles.

"I always thought he was tough." Luna said.

"I know it was pretty funny too." Mason laughs.

"Hey!" Lou gets offended.

"Ew! Tidy up after yourselves, spiders!" Webs says as they noticed all the spider webs everywhere.

"But Tara, you're a spider." Pandora said. 

"I'm a tarantula Pandora and hey at least I clean after myself." Tarantula said.

Pepé Piranha got scared by a skull on the shelf.

"AAAHHH!!! Humans have the weirdest heads. I'll never get used to 'em." Pepé Piranha said.

"Look at this. It's him." Hubert Snake said as he shines his light at the portrait.

"The creep's eyes are following me." Hubert Snake said as he noticed the eyes following him.

"It's an optical illusion. Emphasis on "illusion." Wolf said as he flips the switch. "Aha! Let there be light!"

"Not so spooky with the lights on" Lou says as he approaches the piano.

"Huh. Place could really use a dusting." Lou said but then he freaked out when he saw the piano playing all by itself.

"Haunted piano!" Lou screamed as he hides behind Pepé Piranha.

"I'm out!" Hubert says.

"This music... I can't take it!" Tara says.

Then Mason Wolf looks around and finds a wind up connected to the piano.

"It's not haunted. It's just a player piano. You know, where you crank it up and it plays automatically?" Mason explained to them.

Then Pandora and the kids laughs.

"Yeah kids, out of all everyone... Lou is afraid the most" Mason Wolf smirked.

"Was not, Hubert was too." Lou said.

"Ha! Yeah, bro. Can't believe you got scared of that." Pepé laughed at Lou.

Then they hear noises and Piranha panicked.

"Hey, ghouls, take the big fish! There's more meat on him!" Pepé said offering his friend as a snack.

"Hey!" Lou said offended.

Pandora and the kids laughed again.

"It's worse than the music!" Webs whined.

"Nuh-uh. No. The furnace must have turned on
with the lights. See? I thought we were The Bad Guys, not the "scared by every little thing that goes bump in the night guys." Mason Wolf said to them.

"Ok all I'm hearing is you guys getting scared over every little thing, when do you steal the amulet." Mason Jr. laughs as he was getting less patient.
 
"Alright alright, I'm getting to that, to find the amulet, we first needed to find the secret entrance." Mason said.

"Let's focus." Drago said to his friends.

"If Scary really did hide his amulet in a crypt, he probably hid the access to it as well. That's what I'd do. I'd never pose in chiaroscuro. So tacky." Hubert said.

"That is true" Miguel says.

"Wait a minute. The portrait. My loot you'll never claim, as hidden as my name." Huh. Reginald E. Scary...Reginald E. Scary..." Wolf said to himself.

Then Lou Shark screams again.
