Lightning sizzled in the sky, illuminating the inside of the Bad Guys' mansion. Zooming inside, Mason Wolf was pouring some coffee, but something was behind him, he sense it, he turned around to see nothing. Then he takes a bowl of full size candy bars, he takes it to the couch to eat the confections. Then the mysterious chill was coming up to him, Wolf didn't see he was watching horror movies marathon. When he felt a strange presence he turned to see Hubert Snake trying to scare him in his Sage Nightmare form.

"BOO!!"

"Nice try man, but you know that's not gonna work on me." Mason said.

Snake grumped as he turns back to normal and slithered next to him taking some of the candy.

"It worked on the kids?" Wolf asked.

"Well it's because they're easy to scare." Snake said as he swallows a whole bar of dark chocolate.

"Far as I know you shouldn't even be scaring them." Mason said to Hubert.

"What? They're so fun to scare." Hubert said.

"You know why we adopted Pandora in the first place and why we have kids?"

"Yeah, yeah, to raise her, what's the point of having a kids if you can't have fun." Hubert said.

Suddenly Tara appeared, with a cup of cider.

"You know you're usually nice to them." Tara said.

"What do you expect? He's snake, he's not nice." Pepé says.

"Hey I'm nice, only when I want to be." Hubert says.

"Speaking of which, where are the kids?" Wolf asked.

"They're with Lou, Miguel, and Drago." Tara says.

"Are they still gone, they were supposed to be back hours ago." Mason checks his watch.

"Knowing Lou and Miguel, they probably lost them." Hubert says.

"Don't forget that Drago is with them." Pepé says to them.

But zooming on the door, the knob started jiggling, the guys look back then out came Lou, Miguel, Drago, and the kids, dressed in different costumes. They carried 3 big bags of candy, it scattered around the floor, when they tries to pull it in.

"Wee!" the kids shouted as they slides down the piles of candy.

The guys take in the candy as the kids eat some.

"Great haul you guys, so how much you get?" Mason asked.

"We would've gotten more if someone wasn't afraid of the creepy clowns." Mojo turns to Lou Shark who looked embarrassed.

"I wasn't afraid." Lou denied.

"Yes you were, there was this parade of clowns." Gray said to his dad.

"Were there actually clowns?" Wolf asked.

"Yeah a mix of regular clowns and creepy clowns." Miguel cackled.

"I was not scared." Lou says.

"You screamed and hide behind me begging to go home." Drago said to Lou.

The guys snickered and laughed as Lou pouted.

"I haven't heard you being afraid not since Reginald E. Scary." Wolf says.

Then suddenly the guys hushed Wolf, gesturing zipping lips.

"Who's Reginald E. Scary?" Pepé Jr. asked.

"Oh what, none of us ever told you kids about Reginald E. Scary?" Mason says.

"No, was he part of the team?" Pandora asked.

"No way, missy!" Hubert panicked.

"No, we agreed we would never talk about that ever again." Drago says.

"Come on guys! They have the right to know." Mason said to his friends.

Thunder clapped, sending a bone-chilling shot of fear through the crew as they settled in to listen to a spooky tale.

"Ok kids, it's time I told you a story about the most maniacal, legendary, fiend of a crook before us." Mason said to them.

The leader of the Bad Guys-the legendary and cunning Mr. Wolf-stood in front of his pack of friends and tilted a flashlight up against his furry chin, they all gathered around Pandora and their children. He cleared his throat and began his story, his voice low to match the ominous mood.  Wolf wanted to set the scene for a creepy story that would get his friends shaking in their heist-ready boots.

"Long before the Bad Guys before us princess terrified the city ..." Wolf began.

"Hacking-" he said, glancing at his pal Webs, the sly tarantula with a knack for cracking even the most complicated code. Webs smirked back at Wolf, urging him to go on.

"Disguising-" Wolf continued, giving a nod to his sneaky friend Shark, who was a true master of disguise. Shark beamed back at him proudly.

"Lock picking-" Wolf added, tilting his head at his best bud Snake, who was so quick and sneaky at breaking and entering that even Wolf was jealous of his talent sometimes.

"And fighting our way to the top of the crime world," Wolf went on, catching the eye of his fearless, feisty friend Piranha, "there lived a maniacal, legendary, fiend of a crook."

As he recalled his story, Wolf pictured the scene in his mind, letting the vision help shape the story for him.

"He was weaving a tale of long ago, a tale of a thief so greedy, so clever, so bad that his legend had lived on for hundreds of years."

"His name was Reginald E. Scary ....." Wolf said, going on to set the scene for his friends by describing the big, Victorian mansion Scary had lived in, right on the outskirts of town.

"Since Scary's time, Wolf explained, the rambling house had stood alone, all but abandoned.

Wolf and the other Bad Guys all knew that Scary himself had been a shoebill stork, the kind of fellow who preferred formalwear that fit in with the grandeur of his giant mansion.

"Scary loved loot more than anything in the whole wide world," Wolf said with a sweep of his arm.

The other Bad Guys listened as the story unfolded. The scene their friend was painting for them was so vivid that it was almost as if they were in the old, ramshackle mansion-trailing behind Reginald E. Scary as he admired his mansion full of beloved treasures.

"But Scary prized one piece of loot over all the rest," Wolf said, adjusting the flashlight under his chin to create more shadows across his face as he introduced the star of his story.

"One of the oldest pieces of loot in existence, maybe the oldest. Empires were built on it. Wars fought over."

"What was it Dad?" Mason asked.

Then he turned to him.

"An amulet." He answered.

"An amulet?"

"Yes but this was no ordinary amulet, this one was special, it's a croissants shaped after it. The Crescent Amulet. Over time, he grew paranoid that somebody would steal from him, the way he stole from others. He locked himself in,
spending his final days cuddling, adoring, obsessing over the amulet. And he made one final vow before dying."

"What was that?" Willow asked as she clutched on tight to a pillow.

He leans down closer "If anyone dared steal a single piece of his legendary loot, he'd haunt them...forever!"

He shouts and lighting struck, scaring the guys and their kids.

"AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!"

They all screamed, as the kids ran to the sofa hiding underneath a blanket shivering.
