Chapter 6

Note: Kaldur'ahm is played by Jacob Artist.

Since Amnesty Bay wasn't under attack at the moment, the league had decided that not all of its members were necessary for what was essentially a recruitment mission and some of them showing up in a small town like Amnesty Bay, even as their civilian covers would draw too much attention, since billionaire CEOs Kara Danvers and Bruce Wayne would draw attention, not to mention they both needed to make appearances at their respective companies, along with start up new divisions to help create tech to aid the surface war effort.

At the same time, J'onn was needed at the DEO to help coordinate the war effort there with the troops in conjunction with the four branches of the military, though all naval forces had been recalled due to how unsafe the seas were right now, so they were primarily relying on ground and air power to turn the tide right now and Kara had given orders for Flash and Superman to patrol the coastlines of pretty much every major coastline city in the world to serve as a first response to any future Atlantean attacks.

That left Diana, Alex and Oliver as the only League members who could go with Kaldur to Amnesty Bay to find Arthur Curry. The last best hope for peace between the land and the sea.

Which was why the four of them were currently walking through the town, though Alex had insisted on using her sister's credit card to buy Kaldur some clothes that would actually allow him to blend in, since being seen with a guy who was clearly Atlantean would definitely send up red flags.

"Okay, so how exactly are we supposed to find this guy?" Diana asked the obvious question.

"Even if we had Krypto with us, we don't have anything with this Arthur guy's scent for him to track and the same goes for my ring, since if I'm going to track someone with it, I need to have a scent to go on." Alex said.

"I cannot fail my mission." Kaldur said.

"And you won't. But I think I have an idea on how to find him and it's the same way you find a random person in any city." Oliver said and Alex grinned.

"We go to a bar." Alex said and Oliver nodded.

"Exactly. If there's one person in any city who knows where to find someone, it's a bartender." Oliver said.

"He's right. There's a reason cops go to bars to find information." Alex said.

"Then we go to the bar." Diana said, since Kara had placed her in charge of this mission, since she was the most experienced League member on this squad.

The four visitors found their way to the local bar, Terry's Sunken Galleon, to find a fight in progress.

"Should we get involved?" Kaldur asked.

"No, it doesn't concern us and bar fights are pretty common up here. We only came for information. Let's get it and then get gone." Diana said, since she'd like nothing more than to break up that testosterone filled slugfest that gave men a bad name, they were on a mission and they needed to complete it.

"What can I get for you strangers?" the bartender asked.

"Information." Oliver said as he pulled out a wad of cash.

"What do you need to know?" the bartender asked.

"Do you know where we can find a man named Arthur Curry?" Oliver asked.

"Turn around. He's the one kicking ass in my bar. And my best customer. His father runs the lighthouse near the shore, though hopefully he'll be moving close inward after that message Supergirl sent out." the bartender said as they turned to see a blonde haired bearded man stand still and not even look affected as one of his attackers tried to break a chair on him, only for it to do nothing.

"Okay, I guess we're going to be able to step in after all." Diana said as she stepped in.

"Okay, break it up." Diana shouted as she moved to grab one of the goons' hands.

"Stay out of this miss, it doesn't concern you." the goon said, before he looked her over and smirked.

Diana, guessing what he was thinking, rolled her eyes before knocking him out.

"Pig." Diana said as Alex took out the other attacker.

"I appreciate the assistance, but I could handle it myself." the blonde haired man said.

"You're Arthur Curry?" Oliver asked.

"Yeah, who's asking?" Arthur asked.

"We need you to come with us. It's kind of important." Oliver said.

"Hang on, I don't even know you people. Why would I go anywhere with you?" Arthur asked.

"Perhaps we should take this somewhere more private. Especially since I think that your father could help explain some things, since this involves him too." Kaldur said.

"Who are you?" Arthur asked.

"Someone who knew your mother Atlanna. And I have a message for you from her." Kaldur said, shocking Arthur.
