"And that's how Steppenwolf killed Abin Sur, my predecessor," concluded Hal, "after that, I flew on over to Planet Oa to meet the rest of the Green Lanterns. Been training with them to better use my powers. Planet Oa is where the Green Lantern Corps resides in. Think of us as the equivalent to space cops." Batgirl nodded and said, "Nice." Wonder Woman looked down and said, "a month after Hal became a Green Lantern, Steppenwolf attacked my home, killed some of my sisters, and took the Mother Box. They then raised the Fires of War, knowing I would see the flames." Hal looked at his ring and said, "The Ring told me to then meet with Diana on Earth, and that's what I did. We met up, and realized we have a common enemy and a common goal. And here we are." 

"How long do we have until the attack happens?" Batman asked. "Days, at best." confirmed Diana. Batman looked at her, then at the computer, looking up a file known as "META_HUMANS." He then said, "I think it's time we found the others." Hal raised an eyebrow and asked, "others? What do you mean the others?" Batman then showed the files of the other metahumans.

"A year ago, Diana and I found a file from LexCorp," explained Batman, "it was a file regarding several metahumans, one of them being Diana. These metahumans you see before you possess extraordinary abilities. After Superman, Batgirl, and I defeated Solomon Grundy, we made a mutual agreement that should a threat bigger than Grundy ever occur, we would find the other metahumans and form a team to stop this threat." Hal nodded and said, "ah I see. So something like a legion of superheroes, or a justice league." Diana chuckled and said, "I actually like that name. Justice League. Jokes aside, I agree with you Batman. We should find the others. I will look for Arthur Curry."

"I'll try and locate Victor Stone," volunteered Batgirl. "Guess that leaves me with Barry Allen," said Batman, "unless... Superman, would you want to look for Barry?" Superman chuckled and said, "I would, but I think I'd rather have dinner with Lois. Can't really save the world on an empty stomach." Batman smirked and said, "if you want to sit this one out, I understand. What about you Green Lantern? Do you want to look for Barry?" Hal looked at his ring and said, "I should probably go back to Oa and explain to The Guardians what's going on. According to your file, Arthur Curry is part human and part Atlantean. Diana should probably warn him about Steppenwolf taking the Mother Box from Atlantis. I think the Guardians would want to know that also. Plus I could do a little training."

Batman nodded and said, "fair enough. Everyone, you know what you need to do. Let's move out and find the others. If they don't want to help, that's not your fault. We'll meet up back in Gotham in a few hours." Superman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern flew out of the Batcave to reach their destinations, leaving only Batman, Batgirl, and Alfred. "Well, it looks like we're in for a long night," observed Alfred, "anyone care for coffee?"
