So this is my first story where I have Green Lantern as a main character. I've mentioned Green Lantern before, but I've never had Hal, John, Guy, Kyle, the OG Alan, or even the recent Jessica Cruz as a character that played a large role in any of my stories. Well that's going to change. The story was inspired by several things. Now CinemaSins did a video known as Everything Wrong With Justice League, in which they nitpicked the 2017 film. In the film, Diana talked about The War Against Steppenwolf, and how three Mother Boxes were placed on Themyscira, Atlantis, and Earth. CinemaSins called this out, and asked why didn't they take one of the Mother Boxes to Planet Oa, (the base planet for all the Green Lanterns) and have it be protected by the Corps? And I have to say, that sounds pretty logical. And so a story sparked in my head. And I thought, it'd be so cool if Steppenwolf invaded Planet Oa in search of the Mother Box, forcing one Green Lantern, Abin Sur, to go to his sector to warn Earth of the impending arrival of Steppenwolf. Now we've got a story! Plus, since Superman didn't die in the last story, he and Green Lantern could play a role in forming the Justice League. Plus there's no reason for the Suicide Squad to be formed. And so, we have this sequel. And in case anyone asks, yes, Hal Jordan looks like Zac Efron. He's on my top five list of actors that should play Hal Jordan, the Green Lantern. The list goes as follows...

5. Chris Pine

These guys really emulate Hal Jordan and would be the perfect successor to Ryan Reynolds. But after seeing Zac's performance in The Greatest Showman I felt he'd make a great Green Lantern, especially after seeing Rewrite The Stars, such great acting that's perfect for Hal Jordan. So just imagine the same DCEU actors from Justice League, and Emma Watson as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl, and Zac Efron as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern. Not much to say except, I hope you enjoy my novel.
