Lexi's POV

I walk towards my dorm as I listen quietly to my music. I smile and wave at people that I know as I enter the building where my dorm room is. I'm of the 5th floor, which is the top floor. I unlock the door and enter to see that my roommate, and best friend here, Sherry isn't here. My phone goes off and I see that Sherry sent me a text.

Sherry: Hey Lexi! You want to come and hang out with some of my friends and myself later on in this week? Like Sunday?

Me: Let me see if I'm free. I'll tell you the deal and if I can come or not before Saturday.

Sherry: Ok! I'll talk to you later!

I smile and land on my bed. I look over at a poster of Green Lantern. I nod my head and get up. I close my door and lock it as I grab a hidden bag from under my bed that holds my superhero costume. I still haven't come up with a name and I'm not well known, since I don't want people to know who I am. I change into my outfit and I grab my fold-up metal disk that I use to fly around. I make sure everything is set in place. I tell Sherry that I'm going to walk around. She said ok and I put my phone on silence. I place that and my room key into my pouch on my belt. I open my window and make sure no one is looking. I nod my head in satisfaction, knowing that no one is looking. I run my crimson red electricity through the disk and it turns into a circular 3ft in diameter disk. I hop in and I close my window and lock it. I fly up and then head towards the city. I get my phone out and call John. The phone rings and then he picks up.

"Hey John," I say.

"Lexi? What it is now?"

"I got bored and I was wondering if you need help with any villains," I tell him as I sit on my disk at cloud level.

"Not right now. Anyway, you want to meet up somewhere? Don't remember the last time I saw you," John ask.

"How about the usually spot? Then we can continue to come up with hero names for me," I tell him.

"Alright. Sounds like a plan. See you in 10."

"Ok," I say as I finish the call.

I stand up and head towards where John and I usually meet to chat. I hum a song and stop as I see myself in a window. I smile at me as my electric red eyes looks back at me.

/Ok. So basically when she use her electromagnetism powers, her eyes glow a crimson red color, since her electricity is crimson red. It's a side affect so she doesn't wear a mask. That's all!/

I soon reach it in 7 minutes. I sit and wait for John to show up. I then see him as he flies over.

"So how is school," he ask me as he lands next to me.

"Schools great. It have been busy and long," I tell him.

"Ok. You know you always have me to help you," John says.

"Look, I am a super intelligent human being that can create and control electricity. I know when I need help. And I still need a hero name," I tell him.

"Well how about Lightning," John ask me.

"Nah. To bland," I say.

"Well how about lightning in a different language?"

"Like Raitoningu," I say.

"Rait-what now," John ask me.

"Raitoningu is Japanese for lightning," I say with a matter-of-fact tone.

"Ok Ms. Genius. Don't need to brag," John says.

"Hey! I wasn't bragging! I was saying it in a matter-of-fact voice!"

"Yup bragging," John says.

"Do you want me to zap you," I ask.

"No need for that Light," John says.

"Light? I thought we were going to do Raitoningu," I say.

"Too long. So I just took light from lightning for your hero name," John tells me.

"Then My Hero Name is Akiko," i exclaim. "It means Light in Japanese."

"Ok. Now that you have a hero name, how about we explore the city," GL says.

"Sounds great!"

We both get up and fly around as we chat. I watch the city goes on their usually day, and smile knowing that I'm going to protect them.

"Well it's almost dinner time. I better go GL," I tell him.

"Alright. I'll see you later Akiko," John says as he smiles.

I wave farewell and I head back towards the college campus. I stop when I hear a meow of a kitten. I follow the cry's and I soon reach an alleyway. I find the kitten, around 3 weeks old, in a box.

I pick the kitten up and I look around to see if the mama is near by. I don't see the mama, so this little guy is probably lost or was abandoned. I get onto my disk and head back to the college. I head to my room so that I can change, then I'm going to bring this kitty to the vet, who teaches the students who want to be a vet when they grow up. I get to my dome window and I make sure no one is around. I open the window and enter my room. I close the window behind me. I turn the light on and place the kitten on my bed.

"Wow...you have powers," I hear a voice says as I jump in surprise.

I turn around to see my roommate there.

"Sherry?! What are you?"

"Doesn't matter! I'll keep your secret and we got to go to dinner. Get change and I will keep an eye on the kitten. You named the kitten yet," Sherry ask me as she picks the kitten up.

"I wasn't sure what gender the kitten is," I tell her as I change into jeans and a T-shirt.

"It's a girl," Sherry tells me.

"Then her name is Faye. Come on! Let's wrap the kitten up in a towel and head to dinner. We can then go ask the vet teacher about how to take care of her. She can use her to help the students how to take care of a kitten or a baby animal overall," I explain.

"Alright! To dinner than the teacher," Sherry says.

I smile and nod my head as I grab everything I need. We then wrap her up in a pink towel and head towards the cafeteria to eat.
