ako pwedeng makulong!❞ hecate
said while letting go of their grip with
anger evident on her face. she
tried to approach her. ❝ you're a
bitch! wala kang pinagkaiba sa
nanay mo!❞

❝ sige po, ikulong niyo na iyan. baka
mag-eskandalo pa,❞ she nodded and
turned her back.

hecate was left with no choice but
to go with them. but before eurydice
would left, she shouted, ❝ hindi pa
tayo tapos!❞

eurydice just smirked at her remark
and left the room peacefully.

it's been a week since hecate was
held in prison.

❝ claveria, may bisita ka!❞ said the
warden and she immediately opened
the iron gate which was locking them.

she became curious of her visitor.
❝ and who would dare to visit me?
must be a friend.❞

then she stood and went as the
warden called her again. the warden
escorted her.

when she saw who visits her, she
became irritated. she wanted to go
back in the cell but it's a rare chance
to get out of there so she just faced
her visitor.

❝ hey aunt, so how's your stay
here?❞ eurydice asked with a big
smile on her face. her aunt glared
at her.

❝ anong kailangan mo?❞ she
impatiently asked.

eurydice shrugged her shoulders.
❝ wala lang, kinakamusta lang
kayo.❞

❝ hindi pa ba sapat sa'yo na namatay
na ang asawa ko at nakakulong na
rin ako? gusto mo pa talagang
makita kung paano ako maghirap?❞
she asked in disbelief.

❝ let me think about it,❞ eurydice
said and put her index finger on her
chin like she was thinking. ❝ well,
sorry but . . . no.❞ she smirked
sarcastically.

hecate clinched her fist. ❝ kung wala
ka nang ibang sasabihin, umalis ka
na. o kaya na lang ako na lang ang
aalis,❞ she said and was about to
stand when eurydice suddenly asked
a question that caught her attention.

❝ aren't you curious why we won
the case against you and you got in
jail by parricide when we don't have
any "evidence"?❞ she asked and
hecate nodded. then she sighed and
took something in her pocket.

when eurydice showed it to her, she
shivered and stared at it.

❝ p-paano mo nakuha iyan?❞ she
asked with her voice raising. eurydice
smirked and titled her head. ❝ let's
just say that i'm just really good,❞
she said annoyingly while playing
the key on her hands.

hecate closed her eyes intently and
aggressively stood. ❝ babalik na lang
ako sa selda ko, bye.❞

as she turned her back, eurydice
stood and faked a cough. ❝ about
earlier, you're actually right.❞

hecate looked back at her, she
saw how her annoying face turned
into a serious one.

❝ hindi pa tayo tapos.❞

her annoying smile came back on
her face. ❝ meron pa pala akong
ibibigay sa'yo,❞ she said with
excitement in her voice. hecate
got curious and faced her again.
then she took something in her
eco bag that she didn't even notice.

a jar.

❝ you must be curious on what's this,
well it's just your husband's ashes.❞

hecate froze, her hands trembled
as eurydice handed her it. she was
about to hold it when eurydice let
go of it.

then, a loud sound of the cracking
jar echoed in the room. the jar
broke in to pieces and the ashes
spreaded in the room.

❝ oops, sorry nadulas. hahaha!
guess i'll get my good bye,❞ she
said and flipped her hair before
leaving dumbfounded and teary
eyed.
