it's such a bad day yesterday for hecate,
everything that happened in just
one day make her want to explode,
plus those things that eurydice
whispered at her.

❝ huwag po kayong mag-alala, aalis
din po ako rito. huwag niyo nga
lang akong madaliin, dahil sa
pag-alis ko rito, paniguradong
nakakulong na kayo. sige ka, baka
sa pagmamadali mong iyan
mapadali rin ang pagkabulok mo
sa kulungan.❞

she aggressively shook her head
as it kept repeating on her mind.
she's doing her best to not be
afraid of what her niece said, but
she knows to herself that there's
still fear on her.

she manage to kill her husband
effortlessly, what about putting her
in jail? what else can she do?

then one of their maids suddenly
ran to her. ❝ m-ma'am, may mga
pulis po sa labas ng building.
pinapahanap po kayo,❞ she said
while catching her breath.

hecate's forehead crumpled and her
heart started beating so fast, like
there was a race happening in it.
she suddenly worried about what's
happening.

❝ what if her threat is happening
now?❞ she said to herself. she
thought of escaping but that will
only make her guilty in front of them.

she nodded and went out just like
what they want.

❝ anong ginagawa niyo rito?❞
she asked when she saw the
group of policemen in front of
the building.

one of the policemen stood straight
and coughed as he handed her a
piece of paper. her eyebrows creased
and curiously took the paper and read
it.

❝ my warrant of arrest po kami
laban sa iyo, hecate claveria,
sa salang parricide. sa pagpatay
sa inyong kapatid na si elora
villena.❞

her eyebrows remained crossed and
a playful smile plastered on her face.
she raised her eyebrows and showed
them the warrant. ❝ this? this is only
what you have against me?❞ she
said and let go a maniacal laugh.

she stopped and made a serious
face before tearing it into pieces.
❝ i'm sorry but i'm not going with
you. wala akong kasalanan.❞ then
she turned her back and was about
to return inside the building when
the police grabbed her.

❝ ano ba! bitawan niyo ako! hindi ako
sasama sa inyo dahil wala naman
talaga akong kasalanan!❞ she shout
while trying to escape from the grip
of them. then one of them locked
her hands with a handcuff.

❝ kung wala po talaga kayong
kasalanan hindi kayo makukulong.
pero sa ngayon, sa presinto na po
kayo magpaliwanag.❞

❝ no!❞

then eurydice appeared. she smirked
at her aunt, ❝ ayaw mo sa presinto?
bahala ka, baka madaan pa 'to sa
korte.❞

hecate eyed her like an eagle. ❝ wala
akong pake! inosente ako! pero sige,
idaan natin 'to sa korte para
mapatunayang inosente ako! hindi
ako makukulong!❞

eurydice pouted teasingly, ❝ well let's
see about that.❞

then the police took her to the
police mobile and drove away.
