⊢☾ Eurydice

I stare at our guests from the railings of our staircase as they went inside to see my h̶̶a̶̶l̶̶f̶ ̶s̶̶i̶̶s̶̶t̶̶e̶̶r̶, scratch that, cousin in her comfy coffin.

A sigh escape on my mouth as I count the attendees, that bitch has a lot of friends. They look like black ants from my view here.

As time passes, I suddenly felt the urge of going down to great them, to also know how they think about her.

I walked along downstairs while holding a bouquet of flower that I'll give to her, wearing my sleeveless, violet, bodycon dress paired with a violet fur jacket and beige leather pumps.

When I walk across the room, the sound of my pumps hitting the tiled floor echoed in the room. All eyes are glued on me, but I didn't give a fuck, my eyes are on the white coffin.

"Iyan si Eurydice, siya raw yung half sister ng namatay. Kawawa nga siya dahil halos sunod-sunod namatay mga ka-anak niya."

Whispers, they're like bees buzzing around yet my attention were far from them.

As I approached her coffin, I look down at her face. Instead of being sad, I felt the longing happiness inside me that was gone for a long time ago.

'I wonder what her mother, Hecate, would feel once she knew what happened to her daughter. I wonder what she will feel that everyone that you love is already dead.'

Then one of the maids approached me. "Ma'am, nandiyan na po si Sir Aiden, naghihintay po siya sa labas. Dinala na rin po namin yung gamit niyo sa kotse niya tulad ng sabi niyo."

I nodded and smiled as response and looked at her coffin again.

I smirked as I put the black-eyed Susan on her coffin. I looked at her coffin once again and I stared around our home before turning my back at them.

"Hello my lady," Aiden greet me with a hint of flirtiness before holding my hand gently and kissed it. "You look beautiful on your violet dress," he added before giving me a wink.

I glared at him playfully. "Oh shut up Mister Azarcon, just let me in your car and bring me at the airport before I change my mind."

And as fast as lighting, he opened the door for me at the passenger's seat. I laughed at him before going inside.

"Stop joking around, we both know that you won't change your mind. And keep in your mind that my surname will be yours, too," he said as he went to the driver's seat.

"By the way, where's your ring?" he asked as he started the engine.

I buckled up my seatbelt and showed him the engagement ring he gave me before I flew through here at the Philippines. He smiled and blushed a bit.

Then the car start moving, I looked at our house for the last time and smiled.

'Finally, everything is now settled. I can finally live my life, the life that I wanted.'

I sighed and let go a victorious smile. "I will no longer come back to this place."
