as vivian went upstairs, eurydice
can't help but smirk at her from
behind.

poor vivian, little did she know
that something bad will happen
once she got there.

and, it happened . . .

❝ vivian.❞

vivian looked at who called her
name with a cold voice. she gasped
when she saw who it was.

❝ e-eurydice,❞ she's stuttering while
staring through her piercing eyes.

❝ anong ginagawa mo rito?❞ vivian
asked while attempting to stand
straight against the fear she
was feeling.

❝ wala, sinundan lang kita. narinig
kasi kitang sumigaw kaya
pumunta na kaagad ako rito,❞ she
stated and lend her hand to
help vivian.

vivian was hesitant to take her
hand at first, but then she still took
it and helped herself to stand.

she was about to let go of her hand
but eurydice's grip was too tight.
then eurydice helped her walk
along the dark hallway. while they
were walking, vivian breaks the
ice between them.

❝ bakit mo nga pala ako inimbitang
lumabas kanina?❞ she asked
straightly. eurydice slightly froze
while vivian's waiting for a
response.

❝ you still don't know huh?❞ she
retorted and vivian heard as she
smirked and then they continued
walking.

❝ of course, i just want to spend
some time with you,❞ she continued.

vivian nodded at her response,
they continued walking until they
were near the staircase.

suddenly, they stopped. then
eurydice let go of the grip on her
hand and faced her with her arms
crossed.

❝ naalala mo ba yung nangyari kay
mommy?❞ eurydice asked out of
the blue which surprised vivian.

she nodded. ❝ ah oo, sabi nga ro'n sa
hearing nirape siya ni tito at pinatay
ni tita sa pagkakasakal sa kaniya,❞
she said with a heavy heart and
sighed then tears started to fell
from her eyes.

eurydice can't help but to feel
irritated on her cry. ❝ nakuha mo
pang umiyak?❞

❝ nakakaiyak nga, hindi ko maisip na
kaya nilang gawin 'yon,❞ she said
between her sobs.

eurydice nodded and sighed, too.
❝ oo nga, namimiss ko na rin si
mommy. napakagago kasi nang
pumatay sa kaniya,❞ she calmly
said and looked at her feet, but
anger is evident on her voice.
vivian nodded and gulped.

then eurydice looked at her again.
❝ i actually have something to
confess you,❞ she seriously said.

❝ a-ano 'yon?❞

eurydice slowly approached her.
❝ did you know that mommy's
death has three culprits?❞

vivian's eyes widen in shock.
❝ talaga?❞ she asked but her face
was saying the different thing

fear.

eurydice nodded and took one
step closer. ❝ yes, the first one was
the one who raped her, uncle
asmodeus claveria.❞

then she took another step.
❝ the second one was the one who
strangled her to death, aunt
hecate claveria.❞

eurydice was near to her, only
few steps away. she took a
little step backward and then she
felt the railings of the staircase.

then she took the last step for
the third person. vivian suddenly
felt uneasy.

❝ the third one, the one who gave
her a cup of coffee with a sleeping
pill in it. also the one who cleaned
all of their mess . . .❞

a smirk appeared on her face and
a different emotion glistened in
her eyes. ❝ and i'm actually talking
to her right now.❞

vivian's heart started beating so
fast and before she could've run,
eurydice pulled something on
her pocket and she felt something
near her temple.

vivian started sweat cold, fear
surrounded her system.

eurydice smiled as she saw how
fear evaded vivian's system.
❝ good bye, sis.❞

before she could pull the trigger,
vivian pushed her and ran towards
the stairs.

wrong move.

she suddenly slipped on the
slippery stair, she fell and her
body rolled at the remaining
stairs, then her head hit one
of the edge of it.

then, vivian's body was laying
on the ground, blood from her
head was splattered.

eurydice shook her head and
pulled the trigger of the toy
gun, bubbles went out of it.

❝ stupidity at it's finest. well what
should i expect? like parents, like
daughter.❞

she turned her back at the scene.
❝ good bye vivian villena, or should
i say . . . vivian claveria.❞
