I started fidgeting with the letters nervously again as I walked to the door of your house. Anxiety wracked me, but I told myself everything would be alright. I didn't convince myself. 

Shaking my head, I realized I had nothing to lose. Even if I do get rejected...actually, I don't want to think about it. I clenched my fist into a ball and knocked on the door. I waited five seconds before your mum opened the door. 

White hair cascaded down are yellow V-neck and emerald orbs sparkled. She looked exactly like you, Shu. Except for the eyes. The corner of her eyes crinkled as she recognized me. "Oh! What are you doing here?"

She asked me that question, even though I expected she already knew the answer. She showed no sign of shock at all, and she is the mother of a prodigy after all. When I went to explain everything to here, she winked at me and smiled. "No need. I can tell."

I grinned back awkwardly, shifting the weight from one foot to another, not sure if I should be embarrassed or not. Was my excitement and desperate need to see you that obvious? "Yeah, if you don't mind. I know you only arrived today, so-"

"No, Shu should be already," I watched as she retreated back into the house. 

"Shu! It's for you!"

Then I saw you. White, shaggy hair framing a pale face. Hues of scarlet glinting with knowledge. A confident, intelligent and kind aura around you.
