Dear Shu,

I told everyone. 

I got mixed reactions. Happy, disapproving, anger, acceptance, but the one in common was shock. Nobody had expected for the school's playboy to turn bi for a short and clueless kid two years younger than him who was the complete opposite.

Something you would expect in a fanfiction.

I don't blame them, though. All of my friends were all shocked, but majority were happy that I found someone to fill the void you left and love instead. I still didn't tell them that I didn't actually like Free like that. Only Xander was angry. 

We had a fight. 

Xander yelled at me behind the school, telling me he didn't think I was that clueless to date a fuckboy. He said this relationship was stupid, I was just another number, you were better than him. He didn't have to tell me that you were better than Free. I knew that already. 

Still, he kept on shouting how terrible that decision was. I expected myself to get angry and yell back, maybe tell him the truth, after all I've always been honest, but I started defending Free unexpectedly. 

I told Xander Free was actually a nice guy and nice to hang around with. I don't know. Did I actually believe I was the one for Free? Maybe I was just convincing myself that I liked Free. I had moved on from you. 

Xander just sighed, saying I was stupid and he wouldn't be surprised if I was single the next morning. He left. 

By the time I had gotten home, the twins had already told Mum. The twins themselves seemed to not care at all (they were just kids), but they did tell Mum about Free. Mum had heard of him though. Many mums had complained about him after he broke their daughters heart. 

Hearing this, Mum got angry. She didn't call me stupid like Xander did, but clueless instead. Why would I date this fuckboy? Did I not know about his reputation? I calmly told her what I had told Xander.

Like Xander, she sighed deeply, but she hugged me as well. She said she believed in my decision, but that there will always be a part of her that won't like Free.

 I decided to drop it for that night. So did my Mum. She told me she'll tell Dad, but everyone seemed to accept it. At home they still treated me the same, and they all still love me.

I'm so lucky to have them.
