Thursday evening
Dear Valt,
I asked the group about your fall out with Xander.
They wouldn't give me the exact details and it's cause, but all I know that you two had this big argument outside the school. And I know Free was involved. Maybe Xander didn't approve of you dating Free either. But it's all hushed up, and now that you and Free are constantly big news, everyone forgot about that fight, except you two.
Now that I know about your argument, you always seem to ignore each other and avoid each other during the hallways. We sit at opposite ends of the school. It's like you two have forgotten the other exists. It makes me sad, really.
Even though you started dating Free about two years ago, the news are still fresh. I find that whispers of your current relationship status echo throughout the corridor. Personally, I find it a little creepy, even if people thinks its "trendy" to keep up with you two. If we ever date, I would prefer it to be quiet, and I think you would to. After all, you're not the greatest when it comes to attention. But people are nosy. Everyone can be nosy once in a while, especially if they think it matters to them, or it's about them.
I didn't see you at lunch today. Wakiya said it was because Free had basket ball training, since he's on the school's official team and the captain, and he had invited you to come along to watch him in the gym. I know the rest of the members there as well. Silas Karlisle, Xander, Renwu Sun, Joshua Burns and Lui Shirasagijo.
Lui and I always had a rivalry since pre-school, when we were doing a drawing competition and the teacher decided that both of ours were equally good. He drew a dragon, I drew a lion. Ever since then we've tied for a lot of things. The highest grades, SRC, sports day, the whole lot. He hasn't seemed to forget about our rivalry in the past three years.
I also wonder why Joshua joined. He's terrible at sports. Probably for more attention, then. It's a miracle he even passed try-outs. But then again, the coach was a girl and most likely a sucker for him. I can't help but roll my eyes at that. Girls and boys alike through themselves all over him. Seriously.
I wonder why you would watch Free train. You hate basketball, wouldn't you much rather spend time with us? But then again, some part of you might've changed in the past three years. A part of you that decided to date Free. And will never decide to date me.
Much love,
Shu.
