Legend tells of a princess with magical abilities she fought for truth and justice. She was not always a warrior once a long time ago she was just a lonely princess.
The princess lived in a beautiful strong castle. The castle itself was surrounded by a wall made of diamond and stone. The actual castle had magnificent walls made of crystal, glass and diamonds. On a bright day one could not look at the castle because it would instantly blind them. Just behind the wall and surrounding the castle there was a garden that could never be matched. It had every type of flower and fruiting trees. It was so large that people could spend years walking around it before you had seen everything. The princess loved the gardens she spent most of her time in them. She knew every flower in the garden, every bud. Inside the castle, the princess's favorite place was the library. The library was bigger than most people's houses. In it was a book on every subject, from farming to how to sit properly at a dinner party. But the princess's favorite section was the fiction. She loved reading about witches, fairies and men in shining armor atop of white horses. The princess was lay across the rug in front of a roaring fire. Imaging herself away from the castle.
When the princess was little she was happy with life. She loved her garden and her library and her hundreds of servants. But as she got older she longed for a life real friendship and adventure. She was tired of the same life the same garden the same books. So she went to her aunt, the current queen of the kingdom, and asked her if she could leave the castle. The queen who had lost her sister and brother in law, from an attack from an invading army. She did not want to lose her niece too, told the niece that she could not go outside the wall because the world outside was dangerous and unworthy of a princess like her. The princess nodded and pretended to understand. But the minute she left her aunt's study she swore that she would escape the castle and it bounds. She tried three times to escape the castle.
The first try was the princess simply just trying to walk out of the front gate. She was found out quickly and sent back to the castle. The next time she tried she wore stolen servants clothes and tried to walk out as a servant. It took a little longer for the guards to notice but they did. After this time the Queen grew worried for the safety of her niece and ordered her to be locked in her room. The princess grew more and more upset within her confines. Finally she used one of her golden brooch to pick the lock on her door. Then she put the plainest dress she had and fled the castle. She walked to the edge of the garden until she reached the wall. The reason she had not tried to climb the wall was because it was so steep and had many sharp rocks imbedded into the world. She took a deep breath and began to climb the wall. This was the hardest the thing she had every done. There were several times were she stood in the same spot and for near and hour trying to figure out where to put her foot next. She slid down the wall more times than she would have liked too. But finally she reached the top of the wall. She looked down at her hands and realized that they were covered in blood. She ripped some fabric from the bottom of her dress and carefully wrapped up her hands in it. After she was done she leap off the wall and started her new life.
The world that came outside of the wall was not as she expected it. People were hurtful and cruel to her. People looked down at her because they thought she was a common girl who did not know her place. The princess learned to be maid, even though she hated the job. Because of this her heart grew angry and hard. It was seven years before she realized she had possessed magic. You see the wall she climbed all those years ago was enchanted so when the princess cut her hands some of the magic seeped into her blood. The princess had gotten a job working for an old wizard. He was very messy and it seemed she was always at work. One day it seemed as if no matter how hard she scrubbed she could not get the floor clean. So she closed her eyes and wished in vain that the floor would be clean. When the princess opened her eyes the floor was cleaned. The wizard came in moments later and asked how she cleaned the floor. He told her that it was impossible to be cleaned by just soap and water, since it was one of his magic portions that he had spilled on the floor. The princess explained what had happened and suddenly the wizard realized who she was. He had been at the princess first birthday and he was the one who had given her beautiful garden that she so loved. He then asked to have her be his apprentice. The princess thought for a while before she answered. She finally decided that she should learned all that she the magic and so she said yes. She spent another seven years learning and perfecting her magic. And when she had learned everything she could she left the wizard and went on her own way.
The princess used her magic to help protect other kingdoms from opposing armies and thieves. She even managed to save the fairy kingdom but that is another story. Her name became world renowned. The princess was very happy with newfound freedom. She lived happily ever after.
