FlowerOfTheHour_ wrote this intriguing poem from the point of view of a queen. I really like the idea behind it.

When I was little I thought this was right,
I will have power over everything,
I am gonna just sit in my throne,
And I will have a wonderful life,
But I was wrong,
I had to make choices,
That I could hardly say yes or no to,
I had to choose who to marry,
And I was fourteen at the time,
I didn't have a choice,
Because I couldn't be royalty until I had married someone,
I regret that I ever did marry them,
I want to be a normal person,
Eat normal food,
Wear normal clothes,
And make normal decisions,
But now,
I have no choice but to live this,
Miserable life.
