Paranoia by @-pinkhearts-
-pinkhearts- wrote this spooky short story about a girl's intense paranoia and the things that happen to her due to this paranoia.
Adelaide sat in her bedroom, noises began to come from the walls. Whispers began to fill her brain.
The window then opened with a gust of wind. The wind made a ominous song, branches cracked, and rain splattered on the ground.
"I'm okay. I'm okay. I'm okay." She repeated this often, though she was never okay. Everything seemed to scare her. It caused her be called a freak.
She dragged her nails across her skin in fear, the walls began to sound like something was dragging a object across them like a teacher dragging her chalk against the board.
Blood began to fill the room, her paranoia was increasing.
A looming shadow barged into the room wearing a sinister smile. It sat down next to her and wrapped it's arm around the girl.
"It will be okay."
Those words sounded weird. Why would a evil creature saying such calming words?
Reality began to come back to her. She looked at her mother in fear and then started to cry.
"Mommy, I don't want to live here anymore." She said.
Her mother rubbed her back soothingly, "I know sweetie."
