literally WHAT the FUCK is up with slut-shaming on this site within stories. like who hurt you? a blonde cheerleader apparently. 

ladies..................girls get enough shit from boys we have to stick together on this front. so what if a girl wears a short skirt and a low top? it's her body for god's sake! 

most of the times with stories that really commit to the slut-shaming aspect it's not usually the blonde cheerleader with killer boobs that comes across as a bitch, it's the ''''shy nerdy ''''''''''''''''nice'''''''''''''''''''' girl'''' that comes across like a judgy mcbitcherson. 

the main characters inner monologue usually goes something like this "and i saw her....miss blondie blonde blonderinna, blonding around with her big boobs that are so big and she's always showing them off with her skin-tight shirt and she's kissing the werewolf guy i want to bone so she's obviously going to be the villain of this story even though i actually have no right to another human being. i also hate her. did i mention she's blonde? also her tits are very large and big."

like girl.........................................shut the fuck up. by that point in the story (usually about 200 words in lmao) i'm rooting for blondie. 

I GET IT! you're insecure and it's fucking SHOWING by how much you hate blonde cheerleader miss big boobs. 

and here's the thing, i would 100% understand if that characteristic, that very bitter negativity/insecurity was portrayed as a character flaw and something bad but it's NOT. it's most often portrayed as something valid to feel and as if miss blondie deserves the hate that gets piled on her. 

slut-shaming is derivative and annoying and very rarely adds anything to the story besides a lazy way to prop up your female main character as holier than thou, especially when compared to other girls. 

it's overdone and boring and personally, i hate it. 

miss blonde cheerleader i love you and support you! get ur man! don't let the haters get you down!

miss judgy mcbitcherson, you're not as special as you think you are. 

DISCLAIMER: if you've done this or are currently doing this in one of your stories, whatever. i'm not here to say you can't write something if you honestly think that slut-shaming is what your story needs than go for it but maybe ask yourself what exactly it adds to the story and if it's going to be addressed later. i give my characters specific negative traits that i know and understand are bad so if that's what you're doing, i understand! flawed characters are interesting but flaws are just that, flaws, and should be presented like it.
