Chapter 6: Crying Wolf

It was about time for Bianca to leave. Her parents are strict. So, Bianca left, leaving Ashley and Sophia. Ashley is always the last one to leave, sometimes she just sleeps over. Which is what she was doing tonight. Her mom is a down to Earth hippie. So, Ashley gets away with a lot of stuff, surprised she's not a burnout. Sophia decided to take a shower. She has a shower connect to her room. Ashley deiced to take one as well. She went to the one at the end of the hallway. Taking her pjs with her. She just opened the bathroom door. No one ever uses this one, which is why it was a surprised for Ashley to see Lillian crying in there. Ashley looked at her concerned.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Right away Lillian got offended.

"Um, I'm sleeping over. I didn't know someone was in here."

"Well, someone is." Lillian doesn't have her own bathroom, but she never uses this one. "Forget, just do what you need to do. I'll go to the other one."

"Wait, are you okay?"

"Crying in the bathroom by myself? I'm fucking doing great."

"Lillian, you can talk to me. I won't judge you."

She just looked at Ashley, "Don't give me that bullshit." How Lillian said that. It was almost emotionless.

"What you mean? Me trying to be your friend?"

"I'm awful to you, why would you even try to be my friend?"

Ashley rolled her eyes, "No, you're right. I'm pretty sure what ever your problem is, you could just run to your best friend or your boyfriend. Why should I help you?"

Lillian didn't say anything, just went back to her room. She seemed shocked by that statement. She can't run to her boyfriend because he's the problem and for some reason she can't go to her best friend. Maybe Ashley is her only true friend.
