Chapter 5: Study Group

Everyone except for Brandon, Jack and Jamie went over to Sophia's house. Lillian and Stevie went into Lillian's room. The group went into Sophia's room, they wanted to see how she was doing and because she has a really big room. Her family is rich. This is also their study group, in all honesty, they don't do much of study. More or less just talking about stuff. They all walked into the Sophia's room and she closed her door. Her room is directly across Lillian's and she hates just looking at it. She says that it's better than hers. 

"So, those new kids. How do we feel about them?" Ashley questioned.

"That Jack kid is kind of an ass." Bianca said. 

"I actually have mixed feelings about him. He's a new kid, he's probably bad with emotions." Ashton shrugged.

"Good point, but he did hit on me." Ashley added.

"I'm pretty sure every new kid would." Daniel pointed out.

"Are you guys seriously defending him?" 

Daniel and Ashton nodded.

"Sophia you would definitely hate this kid." Ashley looked at her. 

"But you have to admit Brandon is awesome!" Bianca said excitedly looking at Sophia.

"He's alright." Sophia added.

"He said that Soph was pretty and not fat." She pointed out.

Ashton looked at her, "You should ask him to the dance. Beats having to go with me."

"Yeah, he would actually give you affection." Daniel replied.

"I appreciate it, but I don't think I'm going to the dance." 

Everyone stopped what they were doing and just looked at her in confusion. 

"You guys know dances aren't my thing." 

"I hate dances, Sophia and I'm still going." Daniel added.

"But you don't have a beautiful sister to be compared to." 

Ashley moved next to Sophia and put her arm around her, "Don't you want to see your sister lose to the it couple at Amberville high school?" 

Bianca smiled, "Yeah, don't you want to see the look on her face?"

Sophia smiled a little.

"There's that smile, so you're definitely going?"

"Maybe. It's no a definite." 

"Yay! I can't wait until we go shopping for our costumes!" 

If it was obvious enough, the Halloween dance is a costume dance. However, no one can wearing an actual costume and girls have to wear skirts or dresses, guys have to wear guy clothes. Hey, the school's it couple may be two girls, but it's still Texas. Everyone pretty much does a modern day twist on characters. 

A few hours have past and Sophia's called saying that all the boys had to go home. Her parents are on a business trip. Anyways, Ashton left. Daniel just got out of Sophia's room and locked her door, when he heard some arguing in Lillian's room. He put his ear up to her door. When he actually heard what was going on, it wasn't arguing. It was Lillian begging Stevie to stay. 

"Please don't go. My parents aren't home, you can stay." Lillian sounded distraught.

"Stay? So, we can watch a stupid movie?"

"You know I'm not ready." 

It was quiet for a bit.

Stevie finally said something, "You said that you wanted to be the most popular girl in school. That means dating the hottest guy in school and won't put out, I'll gladly find someone else to make popular."

"Wait, wait, I will, just not tonight. This weekend at Emily's party. That way everyone gets to know about it right away." Lillian added.

"If don't put out, we're over." He said. 

It was quiet for a bit, then the door open and smacked Daniel in the face. Stevie shut the door and looked at him. Stevie looked pissed and Daniel knew he was going to get his ass kicked tomorrow. A few moments later Daniel left. Keeping the information to himself. For the record, he doesn't think it's right. Stevie is a fuckboi.
