"-the hell?!" I shouted as Aggemnon slammed me up against one of the buildings walls. In the shadows I'd built the town of my dreams. They were now very irritating.

"Why do you have to get involved with the weak humans? Why can't you just be happy having me as your demon? You even have Reme, too! Two demons and you still want to be with those pitiful creatures on the surface! Your sister is safe! Alive! Why care, anyways? Your father hates you, Seilee is oblivious to your pain! Just be happy, content with the power I've provided you!" Agemnon was as irritated as I'd have imagined, but honestly it was headache worthy having a demon so seriously annoyed with me.

"Leave the girl be! Her desires is wonderful! Can't you feel the surge of power? It's delectable!" Reme laughed.

"BUD OUT!" Both Agemnon and I yelled to him. That just made Reme even more smug. He seemingly evaporated, but he just decided to blend in. Simple, considering the dark is his element.

"Why not be happy?" Agemnon hissed.

"I didn't know you could care," I responded spitefully. Agemnon shoved me harder into the wall.

"I'm built on lust and desire."

"I just thought you-" I was cut off by Agemnon's lips on mine. In half a moment it was over and Agemnon's back as to me.

"Don't see the human again. He isn't worth our time." Our?

"Whatever," I grumble. "You think you can control me?" I muse, continuing to speak,"When has that ever worked?"

"You think I've ever really put much force into it? Keep in mind I can possess you. I hold the upper hand." I left the shadows then. I don't care anymore. He thinks he has me wrapped around his finger. Maybe he does, but I'm not about to be controlled so easily.

"Hey, your a little out of it today," Cash mumbles to me. I give her silence. She perses her lips. "Aline told me what happened."

"He won't do it. I get to be a teenager," I tell my sister.

"Yeah, but not a free teenager. Neither of us do. Constrained by elemental demons. This is our life now. They make our choices," Cash says. I nod.

"How much further until we get to the battle?" I ask Kimizuki, who's driving the car.

"Not far," he responds too quickly.

"Do you actually knoe or do you just not want us to pester you about it?" I reply. The group laughs and I smirk.

"The second one," Kimizuki says honestly with a bit of a shrug. He's smiling though.

"No way!" Yuu says looking out the front window.

"What?" Cash and I ask in sync.

"The telephone poll was right!" We all looked out the front window or stuck our head out the top. Sure enough, there it was. There was blood splattered across the field.

"We're here," I state with a solemn look on my face. Tonight I would stain the streets with vanpire blood. Avenge the life that was taken from me and that was taken from everyone around me.
