Chapter 6

Thank you SecretIdentity16 for this more than amazing cover.

He remembers.

That is the only thought in my mind as I made my way into the first class.

How the hell does he remember? He was hell drunk. He is supposed to forget.

I sighed. If Nico knows this, I'm dead.
Not literally but you know.

Maybe. Just maybe, he wasn't talking about that night?

The rational part my my mind did not agree.

Why would he thank you?

I sighed again.

"Is there a problem Miss James?" The teacher asked me. I was confused.

"You are not concentrating on the class. Where is your mind?" She asked me.

"I'm listening" I rolled my eyes.

"Oh really? Can you tell me what I just explained?" She challenged.

"Sure" I said getting up from my seat and walked towards the white board.

Within minutes I was done with the topic she was explaining. I looked at the teacher whose name I am yet to Know, and saw her mouth open in awe.

I smirked to myself. Like I said before I graduated high school when I was thirteen and this is all a piece of cake.

"Now can I go back to my seat ma'am?" I asked her.

She nodded, still in awe. I made way towards my seat which was in the back of the classroom. As I passed Asher I made eye contact with him and he gave me a million dollar smile. I couldn't help but smile back.

What is happening to me?

"So.. um.. do you have any doubts regarding the topic?" The teacher asked the class, who shook their heads saying no.

"Okay then. There is still five more minutes to the bell. You can do whatever you want to." She said sitting down at her desk.

"That was cool." A voice said from my left. It was Siemens.

"Peggy" I greeted her. I forgot she had the same classes as me.

"That was so cool. What you did. I never saw Miss Carter that dumbfounded." I laughed with her.

"It's all so easy. I graduated high school when I was 13. I got bored and looked through the textbook yesterday. I'm not Bragging." I told her.

"Oh, I wish I was a prodigy like you." She stood up as the bell rang.

"You wish?" I asked her and lowered my voice "You work for the CIA. Do you think that's not enough?" I asked her.

"Used to" she corrected as we walked out of the class. Asher was a few feet before us. Talking to some of his friends.

"What do you mean?"

"I quit" she shrugged.

"Why? I heard you were their best"

"Oh, no. I'm not. Really. I just am done with this. I want to have a normal life." She said with almost a sad smile.

"Oh! I hope you get what you want." I told her with a smile.

She smiled back.

"It's really nice meeting you, Siemens" I told her honestly.

"Olivia" she said

"What?"

"Olivia Siemens" she told extending her hand for a shake hand.

I hugged her instead. Damn, I was turning really soft.

"Lena Everett" I whispered in her ear.

I smiled as I pulled back. She smiled too.

"Just because I'm leaving doesn't mean I don't care anymore. Just give me a call if you need anything." She smiled.

"I'll be here for three more days max. I'm leaving this Friday."

"Hope we stay in touch."

"Me too. Now shoo. You have some classes to attend and I have some classes to skip. Bye" she said before turning around the corner.

I smiled at her retreating figure.

Guess I made a new friend today.
