Hi! I'm just pouring these out today, huh? I'm writing this on an empty stomach as there is a builder in my kitchen and I'm too scared to go and get food....it's been 8 hours.

Robin sat on the edge of the Wayne Tech building in Star City, looking out onto the sea of lights. He smiled fondly at the city. It was different to Gotham. Although it did have crime it was not to the extreme that Gotham had. He swung his feet over the edge and hummed a tune. Batman leaned on the edge beside him, impatiently tapping his foot. They were supposed to be here by now. "There's unchi Flash!" Robin exclaimed pointing to a red blur on the opposite roof followed by a yellow blur. "Over here!" Batman yelled gruffly. Flash saw him and changed roofs. Typical Flash to go to the wrong meeting place.

Flash and Kid Flash only needed seconds to meet up with them. Robin waved and Flash waved back, then realised how he was sitting. "Get away from the edge!" he said/yelled running over to him and placing him on the ground. "I was fine unchi," he complained. 

"He was fine. Return to how you were buddy," Batman replied. Kid Flash and his mentor exchanged looks. Batman was checking his systems on his phone and Robin was doing back flips on the edge. "You're not even watching him," Flash whined. 

"He's smart enough to not fall," Batman defended. Kid Flash rolled his eyes and joined Robin, although not as close to the edge. "Not chicken are ya?" Robin taunted whilst doing a handstand. "You're going to get yourself killed one day," he muttered in frustration. Robin jumped down and lightly punched him in the shoulder before hugging him.

Moment's later, Green Arrow and Speedy arrived. "Sorry we're late, someone had to do his hair," Green Arrow announced accusingly. "Have to look good for the criminals," Speedy replied. Robin giggled a little and hugged him. "Nice to see you too Rob," the older greeted with a smirk. Batman rolled his eyes behind his cowl. "So, why am I here?" Batman asked. "I have my own city to protect." Green Arrow sighed and looked to Speedy. 

"Well since he's old enough to do this job without me, I was thinking the others could join him on a patrol tonight." Flash immediately agreed since tonight was supposed to be date night and Iris wanted him back soon. "Gotta go!" He was gone in a flash. Batman thought for a while. "Please Tati! The others get to and we both know this isn't anything like Gotham," Robin pleaded. "Fine, but he stays at yours tonight as does Wally assuming Flash is on a date tonight. He stays in your line of sight the whole time and if I see anything more than a small bruise you'll pay for it." Speedy gulped but nodded. 

"Enjoy yourself păsărică." he ended, swinging to another roof. Robin smiled and waved goodbye. "Home by four since it's a weekend," Green Arrow told Speedy firmly. He nodded and Green Arrow followed Batman's lead.

Speedy was quite proud with himself for scoring this deal with Ollie. "Okay, Rob and KF keep up. I saw some gang activity on the edge of town, let's hope they're still there," Speedy announced. Robin cackled his unique cackle and jumped off the roof only to shoot his grappling hook, nearly giving Speedy and KF a heart attack. "This kid will kill us one day," KF muttered.

"Speak for yourself slow poke," Speedy replied following Robin. This was going to be a long night...
