The meeting of the Basses part 2

"Hey Jerk! The next time you'll ever think about robbing one of our franchises, think of this."

*crack* "AHHHH!"

"You don't get your gun back. Get out!"

A black kid running away. An another punk. The week earlier, it was a white dude. When do these people learn: NEVER EVER MESS WITH. . .

A six foot three inches of raw muscle, Jane "Mute" Ferrite. She steps out. "Hey Jesus! Want the day shift instead? These 2$$*# are becoming a problem tonight."

"That the third one this month. Sure, I don't mind the day shift."

"Alright! Go home in an hour."

Jesus doesn't envy Jane. If a crazy boxer want to work in the worst shift of the store, she can have it. Jesus is the father of one. His wife and son still needs him. And Jane thinks highly of him. It is not everyday, one of your friends owns your favorite gas station.

Jane watches the cars go by. She is hoping that the cops don't arrest her for protecting the store. At that moment she sees someone lost.

"Jesus, I'm going to help someone. Be right back."

"Be back quick."

Jane walks towards the intersection. The same one the lost Lia is at. The walk light is on. And Lia walks up to Jane.

"Hey, you lost?"

"Jane!" She hugs her.

"Whoa, hey lady. Lady. Let go." Jane looks at her quizzically.

"I am so glad to see ya sis. Minus the uniform. Damn, I miss ya."

"Did you hit your head? Lady, I don't know you."

"But Jannie! I'm Lia. You know. Your little sister."

The expression on Jane's face tells it at. Lia is dejected.

"I don't know you. But, I can't just leave you here. I can't believe I'm saying this, follow me."
