. Just Normal Awkwardness .

•--Randy's POV--•
Two weeks had passed from the.. Uh... "Ninja Accident". We managed to take the whole article down since we managed to convince Debby Kang that writing something that isn't true is like, a crime especially using someone's picture without their consent. It would be bad for her journal reputation. Luckily, some people had already forgotten about it. Well, some not all. Of course, people still question (Y/n) around the school and citizens in Norrisville. She'd naturally reply that...

"The ninja was only saving me from harm, like he always does for all the citizens. It doesn't mean anything other than that."

Her reply was really thought out well and I should be happy that people are regarding it as nothing and that they're believing what she says but, her last line, it keeps on echoing inside my head.

It doesn't mean anything?

What about the tour? Doesn't that mean anything?

I should, probably stop looking into her words. She probably said that just to clear the ninja's name which is working quite well. I started being awkward around her because like I said earlier, I'm bothered by her last line.

Maybe I am just over thinking this.

I should be thinking about how I'm going to thank (Y/n) for doing that for me. How am I-

"C'mon, Randy!"

I looked up from the pavement that I caught myself staring at.

(Y/n) (L/n), who's impressively dressed as the ninja, signals me to come as Howard (who's dressed as Viceroy, instead of HALF A COW) was already waiting with her. I didn't noticed that the line has moved and now, we're finally at the famous whoopee world's own scary house. After a skeleton coming back to life, this ride is gonna be one sweet bruce reward.

And (Y/n) being here, I'm not quite sure if that's a bonus or not.

I stare at the suit that she made, still couldn't believe that she dressed up as the ninja. I know she bought all these clothing stuff and materials but I never knew that she's skilled at that. It really brings out her figure. It's like she knew what the suit looked like and is used to making it which I think isn't creepy at all. In fact, the ninja considers it as a compliment.

But why? Why did she chose the ninja, out of all things?

"Have a frightastic night," The employee dressed as Dracula sighs deeply, as I walk pass him until I stand beside Howard, pretending that I'm not bothered by anything.

"Fear farts?" I mock, "What does this shoob take us for?!"

Howard laughed, "Seriously if I would have rip one, its to get a laugh."

Even though the mask was hiding it, I could see that (Y/n) is smiling. Takes one, to know one who wears a mask.

Okay, have a normal conversation with her. You can do this, Randy!

"So, (Y/n)," I started, trying to make a small talk, "Are you excited?" She looks at me straight in the eyes, "Yeah! I'm super excited cause like, I don't know what's in there! It wasn't revealed in the epi-"

She forcefully stops her sentence by putting a hand on her mouth, then avoids eye contact.

I made a nervous laugh, "What?"

(Y/n) looks at me, once more and waves a dismissive hand, "It's, nothing really,"

"Anyway, yeah, I'm super excited!" She continues, still a smile in her face.

What was that about..? Should I ask her? Does it look like I'm over thinking?!

I gulped and disregard what just happened, "So,
do you have any of these in your home planet?"

"Home planet?" She blinks a couple of times, as if not hearing what I just said, "OH YEAH! I mean, there's this famous place where every kid wants to be there. It's, uh, a big castle, full of rides you've never seen before! It's full of royal princesses, magic and shows!"

"A castle?" I question, raising an eye brow, "How can it all fit in there?"

Magic? Princesses? What? I never thought aliens have that kind of thing and.. It's an amusement park?

I couldn't help but wonder if (Y/n) is a princess. She'd look beautiful in a gown, I mean, for an alien that is.

"Well, uhm, that's the theme and magic of it, I guess," She finishes with a sigh, "Anyway, it's for higher peo- I mean, aliens who have money. They're the only ones who can get inside. Rich Aliens, who are not like me."

So that means, she isn't a princess after all. Well, princess or not, she still looks beautiful, I guess.

I put my hand on her shoulder which startled her a bit, "Well, this isn't some fancy castle but, I bet you'll enjoy this place way more."

She smiles and so did I.

After that, I distance myself once more.

The three of us both fell silent. I could sense that she's feeling awkward right now, or it could be just me.

So, I nudge on Howard's side, to tell him that I need him to come in the conversation. Luckily, he got the message. "Speaking off," Howard adds, to break the ice,"Yo Alien, pull my finger." He bites his lip out of excitement then, point his index finger for (Y/n) to pull.

"I'm down, human," (Y/n) said, eyes full with excitement.

I still think that Howard, calling her 'alien' is still wrong but, from the looks of it, (Y/n)'s okay with it only when he says it.

"Oh, you're gonna love this," I said smiling, imagining what her reaction might be. (Y/n) pulls his finger then, came out fart noises that only Howard Weinerman could do.

"Gross." A female voice came from a cart that's in front of us.

Who said that? How dare you mock my best bud's fart?! Who-

"Teresa! Debbie Kang!" My thoughts stop as I realize they must have been watching from the beginning. I know Debbie Kang has this uhm, juice (not tea) with us, but that doesn't mean Randy Cunningham could nice to her. Plus, Teresa is here. Teresa Fowler is here.

She's dressed up as Steven while Debbie Kang has a Mexican death bear costume, more like a onesie though, with cute claws that's part of her costume.

Okay, be cool, Randy. Be cool.

"Looks like we're riding together." I said in the most possible chill-est voice. Howard also joins in, being cool and all while (Y/n) just crosses her ams as she rolls her eyes. Whoa, this the first time I've seen her do that but, why? Is she jealous? She looks like she's jealous- no, irritated?

"With the Ninja?!" Teresa questions us, pointing towards (Y/n) who was caught off guard. Debbie Kang looked and a smile could be seen from her face.

"I'm (Y/n), the alien," She made jazz hands and took off the mask to show. For a second, I felt kinda happy that I've seen her face for the first time today. "I'm sorry to disappoint." Then, she puts it back on while I stared back at the other two girls in front of us.

Teresa and Debbie Kang were really disappointed. Though, I'm not sure if (Y/n) was sarcastic or really apologetic. Wait, what if I just showed up as the Ninja here? Will that impress the girls?!

Oh wait, that thing with (Y/n).

Yeah, nevermind.

As Howard and I got on board, and (Y/n) being the last one, Teresa points out something.

"Wait," She began, "What are you doing, uh, (Y/n)?" (Y/n) stops and looks at her, "I'm getting in?"

"There are only four seats in this ride," Teresa reasons out, "Why don't you get in the next cart?"

I widen my eyes realizing that what she said is true. I glance at the alien and from the look that her eyes are giving, I could see that she's hurt. I want her to enjoy this ride, with me. I mean, it's not like I have an opportunity to see how an alien could look like when it's scared, or does an alien could even get scared?

As she walks backwards with her hands on her elbows, I blurt something I shouldn't have,

"She could sit on my lap." I quickly cup my hands on my mouth, regretting what I've just said.

I felt all of their eyes on me, some from the people around me, as I slowly sank down on my seat, feeling honkin' embarrassed as an awkward silence takes over the situation.

Great job making it more awkward between you and (Y/n), Randy.

"As much I'd like to," (Y/n) starts as I sit right up, curious what she might say, "I think that's not a good idea." Then, she winks back at me, blinking a couple of times as I process what she just said.

. . . w h a t . . . ?

d i d s h e j u s t . . . w h a t . . .

As soon as I process what she said, I felt my face warm up. I couldn't see what her expression since she suddenly turns away from us and salutes from behind, "Have fun."

The cart began to move while I just kept my eyes on her.

"I heard that this ride is super scary," I heard Teresa initiating a conversation (maybe a change of subject), fear visible from her words. The three continue to talk while I just, stare at (Y/n) until doors close behind us as I felt my emotions completely malfunctioning.

She'd like to...?

Did I hear her right? Was I deaf just now? Did I imagine her say that?

"Randy looks so scared right now," Debbie teases as I got out of (Y/n)'s magnetic trance and said something witty back at her.

"Please, Debbie kang, we're guys. Guys don't get scared," I proudly said as I fist bump to Howard, confident that this is a baby ride full of people in scary cheap costumes.

And so, the terrifying ride begins.

°~~{Y/n}'s POV~~°

Gosh, I need to be more careful.

The episode- which I almost SPILLED OUT! is Night of the living mcfizzles. I'm pretty hyped about being here in whoopee word, at night.

Also...

WHAT WAS ALL THAT?!

RANDY FRICKIN CUNNINGHAM SAID THAT I COULD SIT ON HIS LAP...

AND I REALLY HANDLED THAT SITUATION REALLY, REALLY WELL! NICE JOB, (Y/N)!

It was like I had no control over my mouth.

What does he think of me now?

Randy has been quite distant lately and for him and me to have that conversation... UGH! Why does it have to be more awkward that it already is?!

My head jerks over to the ride as my thoughts stopped as their cart flies out, all four of them screaming and their eyes all close in fear. I got up from the nearby bench that I'm sitting on and walk my over them. Yeah, I didn't get on the ride, have you seen the four just scared out of their pants?! Although curiosity was controlling me, I'm not a much of big horror fan. Plus, Randy isn't with me. As cliche as it sounds, I don't want to ride anything in Whoopee World without him. It's that important to me.

But, I can't just hope that the episode will change because of me being here. What was I even thinking? I can't change it's timing. I can't change what's already written. I can't change Randy who is clearly destined to be with Teresa. What would the 'Fowlham' fandom think of this? of me?

I should just, let them be. Go with the natural flow of things, maybe?

I could've taken the chance to be with Randy on that ride but, it's not meant to happen. I mean, every atom in my body was screaming YES, but why did I say that?

Is it the programming? The plot?

The next thing I knew, I bump into someone who looks pissed at me. "The alien dressing up as the ninja? That's just wonk."

I quickly apologize and ran to the four who's walking down in my direction. I greeted them with a wave as I remove my mask and tuck it in my pocket.

Although, I forgot one detail. I stop dead in my tracks as I see the two girls holding on to Randy, who look ever so proud about being 'hardcore'.

Right, they're scared because of the ride.

Just seeing Randy, whispering something to the two, then making them laugh makes my stomach in knots all of a sudden.

Just then, Howard came running from behind me, "Yow, Alien! C'mon!"

Ah yes, the night still continues. Heck, I'm not even sure if I'm ready for the mcfizzle zombie apocalypse.

I should probably give them a heads up though.

********************************

Heeeyy!

Here's the long awaited update! Sorry for the wait ._.

Also, for the first time in the book, I'll let you decide what happens next because it's YOU who's in the story!

It's either...

A) YOU will warn the others of the mcfizzles zombie attack.
(If you do choose this: Questions will arise from the group, becoming more suspicious of you but you'll manager to convince them to listen to you.)

Or..

B) YOU will NOT warn the others and the episode will flow naturally.
(If you do choose this: the next chapter will include something very bad with Mcfist.)

I will start writing the next chapter when I see at least five votes on this question!

Choose wisely...
