It was already dark and I still couldn't find Bucky anywhere. If only he didn't throw a rampage and disappeared, thanks a lot Bucky.
I checked my phone and I saw that it was already 12 am. Since I have to go to school tomorrow I had to call it a night.
Defeated and feeling drowsy, I went home and jumped from roof to roof until I finally jumped on my house's roof.

I looked down if the coast is clear but to my surprise, (Y/n) was at the doorstep. She was just sitting and staring somewhere far away while a blanket covered her.
I was in the Ninja suit so its good to talk to her. I just feel safer in the Ninja suit whenever I'm with her, just in case she attacks.. I could easily defend myself.

I jumped down from the side and walked where she could see me.

"Hey there." I greeted with a wave. She jumped in fear and relaxed as she saw it was me.

"Uhm.. Ah.. H-Hey.. W-weird seeing you here.." (Y/n) stuttered getting nervous quickly. Oh man.. Is she scared of me?

"Y-Yeah.. I was just.. patrolling the town.. seeing if there's monsters around.. I mean, not that you're a monster though-.. OH! Uh.. I'm sorry.." I apologized. Why did I even decide to talk to her?

More importantly, what am I getting flustered about?

She snickered. "Its fine." (Y/n) said as she looked to me then, to the ground.

"Are you alright..?" I asked stepping closer to her. "Are they not.. uh.. treating you right?" I asked again even though I know I'm the reason why she's like this.

I've been ignoring her for awhile here in the house cause I've clearly didn't think the living under the same roof thing with her.
Feels weird having a girl inside the house.
Plus, I also told her not to walk with us when were going to school or going home. I didn't want anyone to see she was living with.. me.

I'm feeling.. guilty about this.

"Maybe its them.. Maybe its not." (Y/n) sighed but after a few seconds, a smile poked out from her lips. "I'll tell you if you sit beside me. Deal?"

I missed that smile of hers. She hasn't been smiling that much. Sure she's getting popular, but some of the student of Norrisville still despised her since she's an alien and all.

But I'm surprise that something's keeping her happy since she hasn't been stanked yet.

I sat beside her on the doorstep. "So uh.. what's wrong?"

She held air on her cheeks making it bloat up and then realises it as she exhaled. "Well, I miss my home. It feels like I'm not even wanted here and.. No one's here for me.. I wish I could wake up and this could be all.. just some.. dream." (Y/n) shared as she looked down, her hair acted as a curtain, preventing me to see her face.

I knew it. I knew I shouldn't have listened to Howard about this dumb 'walking rule'.

"Well.. I'm here." I blurted out. Geez, why did I say that out loud?!

She scoffed.

"Yeah, but I've got a question for you.. Do you really want me here?" (Y/n) asked as she looked at me with her teary (e/c) eyes.
I feel as if she wasn't only asking the ninja.. but she was also asking Randy at the same time. I felt a quick pang at my chest. I hate seeing her like this.

But I hesitated to answer her question.

"I..." I began as I find the right words to say.

Before I could even reply to her, she cuts me off.

"Heh. Its okay. I already know the answer. I'm sorry for.. acting like this." (Y/n) joked as she got up and turned the doorknob and went inside. "You should rest already.. Goodnight, Ninja."

What does she mean she knows the answer?!

...C-CAN SHE READ MY MIND?!

I stood up and stand there, frozen. "Yeah.. uhm.. Goodnight, (Y/n)." She finally smiled genuinely and continued to close the door. I turned and was about to drop a smokebomb when suddenly..

"Hey.. Uh.. Ninja?" (Y/n) said from behind me. I turned to her and she looked hesitant for what she's about to say.

"You.. You might want to check the monster's house." She said as she winked at me. Thanks goodness I was wearing a mask cause I'd be pretty embarrassed with the way I'm blushing right now.

Then, she finally closed the door.

Check the monster's house?

So if I put this correctly.. Bucky's in his house right now?

Better check for myself...

-=-Howard's POV-=-
I stood at the porch of Cunningham's house, waiting for him to open it.

I banged on the front door of his house once more.

Once I heard the door opened, I quickly grabbed his wrist and practically drag him out of the porch... or so I thought.

"Uhm.. Howard..?"

I turned around and... it wasn't his wrist that I grabbed, it was (Y/n)'s.

I groaned in disgust and waved my hand as if I was shrugging off the alien cooties on my hands.

(Y/n) slowly took three steps back while looking at me in a weird way.

Finally, Cunningham went out of the house and made his way to... her?????

Not me?????

They both greeted each other with a smile but Cunningham's was a bit awkward.

"So... Let's go-..."

I cut him off.

"I'm sorry but... Did I miss anything?! What the juice happened to the 'no-walking-with-us' or the NWWU Rule?!" I questioned with an irritated look on my face.

Randy quickly walked to my side and started whispering.

"Look, I don't want her to feel like.. well.. a real alien.." He whispered, looking quite sincere about these words coming from his mouth.

I don't believe this.

"That's gonna be hard since... SHE'S AN ALIEN!" I quietly shouted.

"Bud, she's not what she seems. Plus, I think she's.. bruce." Randy said as he looks to the ground looking embarrassed for some reason.

Oh no. no. no. no.

He's blushing???

I didn't even know he could do that. I remembered having talk like this about.. Fowler. Has he gone pass Fowler phase into... (L/n) phase???

"And why do you think she's bruce?" I asked with an arched eye brow while my arms were crossed.
"Did you remember last week, the day after she got here? You said she went running down the stairs and when she saw you... She just pointed at you and suddenly screamed! Like, in a fangirl-ish scream. And you were just there standing having no idea what to do, so you tried to calm her down by patting her on the back but that just made her faint in return." I reminded him. Dude, like, I would think she's weird in a situation like that.

"Yeah! Remember! But its not about that.. She's... Uh.. She's Bruce because.." Randy voice cracked and dragged the word because.

Don't say because she's cute. Don't say because she's cute. Don't say because she's cute.

"Because... I think she can read our minds." He finally finished.

I exhaled in relief.

WAIT WHAT!!??

I looked at her, eyes widened with shock and fear. She just waved at me with a smile.

I gulped nervously.

"S-She can do that?!" I asked getting nervous. Now I gotta watch what I think whenever I'm with her?!

But, that is kinda cool.

"Well, she is an.. alien. Also, last night, I was late outside searching for Bucky... she told me to just go to his house and did you know what I honkin found?!" Randy added.

"What?"

"Bucky! I mean, he was there in his bed but once he saw me, he jumped out of the window and that's... where I lost him."

"Your point is...?"

"She can see the honkin future!!!" He concluded. I mean, its too soon to assume that she can... we need to test his theory first.

"We need to test this out. If she says anything to us, we'll let each other know okay?" I

He nodded in agreement.

I nodded back.

Finally, we tuned around and faced her, looking normal-ish with a smile plastered across our faces.

"So.. Uh.. You guys ready to go or..?" She asked waiting for our answers.

"Yep." Randy answered as he walked beside her.

And since the sidewalk is designed for only two persons walking together, I had to be one who's left behind.

Great, I look like a third wheel.

I looked at the two in front of me and it seems like they're talking.

I pulled out my phone and started playing a game I just downloaded while some part of me wondered what they were talking about.

He better not replace me with this.. uh.. girl.

•--Randy's POV--•
She's really.. not that bad. I mean, for an alien.. to be a human. Even though it was such a short walk to the school, we've slightly become closer.

Well, to put it into words, acquaintances to friends. 

"Say uhm.. (Y/n)?" I called her name. "What kind of bands or artists do you listen to? I mean, in your planet that is."

She thinks for awhile before replying.

(Y/n) replied a bunch of band names and artists that I haven't heard of before but the last band name caught me off guard.

"But my favorite is.. 30 seconds to math." She finished with a smile on her face.

She's.. heard of us??? Are we famous on her world?! That's so freakin' great!

"R-Really?!" I asked completely shocked.

"Oh uhm.. I heard around the school that you were in a band with Howard." She said looking quite nervous. Oh so, we aren't popular in her world.

"We haven't made a song in awhile but that might change since the battle of bands is just months away..."

Once I told her that, her face lit up like.. she couldn't wait to hear us play.

We finally made it to school. Howard couldn't be any happier since we don't have the same class as her.
He should definitely give her a chance.

As we were splitting up to go our lockers. Flute girl approached us.

"Hey (Y/n)! Band practice later okay?" Flute girl greeted (Y/n) as some of her saliva spits out.

Good thing it didn't get into my eye.

(Y/n) on the other hand, was rubbing one of her eyes. Guess she got one in her eye.

"Oh yeah.. Sure!" (Y/n) smiled as she stopped rubbing her eye.

W-What?!!? She's in the band?!?

I thought the band wasn't searching for new-...

Wait.. Bucky's not in the band..

And once they play later at night, he'll come.... and.. (Y/n)'s going to be in danger!

"You okay Randy?" (Y/n) asked as she puts a hand on my shoulder, looking concerned.

"Y-Yeah... I'm fine."
