. A Moment's Peace .
You have chosen
to ask what Randy wants.
(MIX OF 2ND AND 3RD POV UNLOCKED)

"But what about you?"
You ask curiously as you walk towards the Nomicon which is now returned to its normal form: an ancient book of secrets. You stare at it intensely, letting it now how annoyed you are at how poorly he handled that smoke bomb in his hands. It only glows bright crimson in response to your irritated glare. You turn your attention back to Randy, who's quite taken aback by your question.
"Me?" His voice cracks out of nervousness to which he quickly recovers with a few coughs. This wasn't in the options earlier and he failed to see that it could backfire on his flustered face.
A smile forms on your lips and it's meant to reassure him but it's actually because you couldn't resist to find how adorable he is right now. "Yeah, what do you want to do?"
As you wait for Randy's response, you take this as an opportunity to let (e/c) eyes roam around the room. The high framed bed that he sleeps in, the desk where crumpled papers lay, the wooden floor having bits and pieces of plastic wrappers and finally the shelf full of books beside an amplifier.
You were about to read one of the titles of the books however, a cough is heard; letting you know that he has an answer. "If it were me, I wouldn't want to sleep tonight with those bad memories in mind and instead, make good memories to replace it with; you know, be happy, even if it's temporary because at least you forget about them for awhile." he explains as sapphire eyes stare at yours, seeking any reaction other than your pondering state.
"Does that make any sense?"
You only smile once it becomes clear to you. "It does, actually. So, you wanna make some good memories with me, now?" It was a bold choice to say the latter, but if he still has bad memories, you figured that you'd help him; it's the least thing you could after his everyday stressful alter ego.
Randy holds your stare with complete disbelief. "Wait, you're going with my idea? Are you sure you don't want to sleep?"
He didn't want to let you feel like you have to do this. Furthermore, you're an alien; he doesn't know how you regain energy but from the nightly surveillance that the ninja does, you need more sleep than an average human. At most nights, the curious hero would perch on the neighbor's roof for official surveillance around the area but the truth that he doesn't want to admit is that he would get a glimpse of you through your window. Even though you slept the entire night, you would still be tired or forced to be energetic when needed. Although, these present nights before the stank, he would often hear soft sniffling from your room. The guilt and the will to help others tugs his chest which makes it unbearable to just stand outside but he doesn't know how to approach you. He wasn't wary though, it's just he wouldn't know what to say either way.
"Positive." you answer with a quick grin that brought him out of the thoughts. "And it's not like I'm going to have a peaceful night either. The recent events are still a lot to take in and we haven't really seemed to relax these past few weeks."
The purpled haired teen shuffles a bit as he heard his suspicions to be true. You weren't sleeping as much as before; but if this is what you want, then so be it.
"Alright then," Randy fishes something among his pockets. "Looks like we're going to have a little adventure tonight."
As you were about to ask what he was looking for and what he meant, the mysterious item is finally pulled out of his back pocket which is none other than the Ninja mask. Combining this item with the word 'adventure', you suddenly had an idea where this night is heading. "Wait, we're going outside, now?" you take a step back, hesitating to join the boy's impromptu adventure.
"Yeah! Well, my partially clean room isn't an ideal place to have fun." he grinned, still looking at his mask and going straight to his open window; unaware of your confidence wearing thin like loose thread coming undone.
You swallowed hard, calming your nerves inside. "I get that, but the last time we were out together was when Mcfist captured me or when the other time that Debbie, who took a picture of us and that was-"
"I know, I know, but c'mon, do you really think they'd be awake at this honkin hour?" It was a flawless argument, Randy thinks to himself; basking in his own cleverness.
You glance at a nearby clock and it reads 1 AM. "I guess not," you take a step forward to let him know you're okay with it, "but please be careful too."
The teen in front of you finally turned to assure you with a smile and said a sentence that made your heart race, and you weren't even being carried bridal style yet. "I promise I'll be careful. I'm never going to lose you again." Randy's conscience mixed with a tinge of pride wouldn't allow it. He doesn't want to make another mistake as huge as he did to you. No one deserves it, especially you.
You avert your eyes, unable to handle the intense sapphire eyes looking straight at yours. "Fine. Let's go."
He pumps his fists in victory in response and proceeds to wear his ninja mask. All of a sudden, bright crimson mixed with pure light flooded your vision for a second or so and once it was gone, the Ninja stood before you. You've always seen how he transforms in the series but this time, it's different. It felt more up close and personal knowing that Randy trusts you enough to let you fully see it. You have a chance to experience and appreciate it more, and so you did. Much to your satisfied wonder, Randy silently blushes beneath his mask as he sees your (e/c) eyes sparkling with excitement and amazement, gazing right back at his Ninja suit. Even though he knows you make this specific face every time the Ninja is present, it still baffles him how you would have this unexplainable constant effect on him which varies from a burst of sudden adrenaline, limps gone like jelly and his chest instantly tightens. As fleeting seconds pass by while he continues to admire your (e/c) eyes, the three said effects were starting to kick in- all at once.
You two didn't even notice that you were staring at each other for a brief moment, observing each other's features with depth. Your (e/c) eyes eventually rests on Randy's once again, and it caught you off guard seeing him just staring at you. With a quick turn of your head to the left, you instantly searched for a subject to cover up whatever you two were doing. "Alright, Mr. Ninja, where are we going?" yet it makes you wonder why he was staring like that in the first place.
Randy pulls himself together with a firm, confident posture like a hero should have but in reality, he's just relieved that you didn't ask what he was doing earlier, "Where I go to cheer myself up!"
You aren't surprised to end up in Greg's game hole. The both of you played various rounds of video games, but you always lost due to Randy who is much more accustomed to it; the high scores accompanied by his wacky pictures speaks for itself. However, it didn't bother you one bit since the both of you were enjoying each other's company which is quite rare if you think about it since there would be hidden obstacles or dilemmas springing up here and there; but as of this moment, there was nothing that could (possibly) ruin it. Randy would often give you tips and tricks on how he would play a certain game and you would just watch and listen in awe since this is extra content from the show which made you all giddy but at the same time, quite nervous. But it wasn't because Randy was good at these games that kept on making you lose every round; it's because your hands were shaking ever since the both of you entered the game hole. As you were waiting for your order of gravy fries, Randy takes an opportunity to ask about the said matter. "I've noticed that your hands were shaking; is everything alright?"
You slightly shuffled on your seat and immediately avoided eye contact as your heart instantly beats faster. You rack your brain for an explanation but it's all just blank. All you could think about is the fact that you two are alone together; and this moment was enough to let these warm-fuzzy feelings resurface and take control of your body. You look towards Randy again just admiring his features, completely lost in thought as the need to answer his question seems to be a blur as you stare longer.
One might think that a girl's lingering stare is wonked up and creepy, especially if that girl is an alien; but strangely enough, Randy doesn't think like that at all as he felt his cheeks warm up. His mind raced with thoughts about you and how he secretly missed the sparks from your (e/c) eyes. The teen found himself concerned for this girl, almost every single day ever since she came to earth. He would often make sure he's doing the best that he can for her but he later realizes that this could be his own demise, or in other terms, his own weakness.
Randy Cunningham, secretly the Ninja of Norrisville, considers (Y/n) (L/n) as a weakness.
What will Howard think of this?
What will you think about this?
Why was he willing to sacrifice his life just to make sure (Y/n) was at peace?
It wasn't just about the duty to the people. If it was, then he could have chosen the easy way out and destroyed your cell phone; but he didn't. It holds too much sentimental value for you. He knew how much you treasured that device, and it's unfair of him to take that away from you since any item that's been broken, remains broken. There's no way to try and fix it. The only solution is to buy another one but he's pretty sure that the item is irreplaceable.
Why does he care so much?
He didn't it was possible to think that he would be able to feel like this again ever since-
"Order for Randy?"
The two teens snapped out of their trance, allowing reality to get a hold of them once again. After you and Randy consume a medium tray of fries, you suggest that both of you should just take a relaxing walk back to the house. As much as you want to be in your room where it's safe, you realize that the house itself can't be safe. Actually, nowhere is safe since Mcfist or the Sorcerer could attack at any moment.
But right now, walking alongside with your fictional crush (who swore to protect you) in the dimly lit street under the starry yet cloudy night sky, you felt safe; and that's what you want- need to feel right now.
As an attempt to prolong this safe accompaniment, you suggested something rather mischievous: to sneak into the pet park. Randy stops and turns to look with a joking smile, "Why would we even go there? It's closed and we don't have any-"
You interrupt him, "C'mon, Isn't this what teens in your world do for fun?"
"It's not really my type of fun." Randy shrugs, then looks as if he's considering your idea. "But it has been awhile since I climbed a tree by myself."
Smiling widely, you already know he's going to say yes as he glances towards you then back at the pet park. "Just one tree, and we stay for about ten minutes, then we're out. Okay?"
