CHAPTER 2 [Y/N]
"Did you solve it?" Jimin whispered, nudging me with his pen from my right side.
"Nah, still trying," I whispered back while focusing on the problem I was solving right now.
"Um, okay! Help me out when you're done," he said. I showed him a thumbs up with my other hand and he looked back at his notebook while chewing on the back of his pen.
It was Maths class and Jimin sucked at that subject. I wasn't any genius either, but I used to get one of the top scores in my previous school since childhood. So, in short, I was pretty cool at it. Yeah!
Our teacher had given us a problem from the part he taught just now, yet no one came up with the answer. I glanced at him once and saw him frowning at our condition. So I took up the challenge to show my answer the first.
The problem was hard to think of, yet after striking through 2- 3 pages of my notebook, I finally made it to the answer, which I was sure had to be correct.
I jumped up from my seat, squealing happily, to which Jimin almost had a mini heart attack and I couldn't help but chuckle at his cute surprised expression. I paced through the gap between our seats and straight to the teacher's table. When I showed the answer, Sir looked quite pleased and smiled at me, nodding. "Good job!"
I bowed to him and with a proud grin, walked back to my seat. Everyone peeked at me with astonishment and I blushed at the sudden attention on my first day.
"Why did you need to jump like that?" Jimin asked when I seated finally.
"Oops, I got too excited after completing it the first," I giggled. He shook his head at my words and sighed, extending his hand. I gave him my notebook and as he eyed it, he scratched his head with his pen, "Uh, why is all this simply going over my head?" He asked innocently.
"My messy handwriting might be making it more difficult. Don't worry, I will explain it during the break." I smiled and he returned the notebook.
"Yeah, that sounds helpful!" He gave me his precious smile and I blinked a few times to realize that I was falling for him already and my cheeks are visibly red. I looked before, with a shy smile.

[NAMJOON]
Not attending our classes wasn't something new for us. And so was it for today as well.
Taehyung, Jungkook, and I were walking through the corridor without bothering to show our mere presence even in our first classes.
Taehyung was walking before us, looking through all the classrooms and for sure, mostly at girls. He kept winking, smirking, and waving at them as he passed, making most of them silently swoon over his looks.
He doesn't have a girlfriend yet and that is what keeps all the girls around him with the hope that he might choose one of them someday.
Jungkook and I had no girlfriend either. And we liked it better that way.
While casually passing by one of the classrooms on the second floor, I noticed a girl in the first row. I don't know what about her pulled my attention but I slowed down and looked at her intently.
She doesn't look any familiar though. We might not be knowing everyone's names but we at least knew each of the faces. But hers seemed to be a new one.
As I was staring at her, Taehyung stopped and turned to me halfway, saying, "Looks like Jimin got a hot chick with him already!"
I furrowed my brows and gave him a disapproving stare. I didn't like the way he said that but Taehyung was talking to Jungkook now.
When he turned toward the class and walked in, Jungkook saw my look and shrugged, raising his shoulder, "You know how he is!"
I shook my head, sighing and then we followed him inside.
Each of the eyes followed Tae as he straight up walked to Jimin's desk. I stood a little far behind him, with my hands in my pocket, feeling a few stares from girls at me and Jungkook near the doorway.
"Jimin-ah!" Taehyung called, extending his arms to hug him but when Jimin heard him, he rolled his eyes annoyedly and swatted away his hands.
"Don't hug me, Hyung!" Jimin scoffed.
"Aww, well," Tae sat on that girl's desk and flirtingly looking at her, asked Jimin, "Already found a hot girlfriend, huh?"
The girl stared up at him with a look that wasn't even near to what other girls usually do. It wasn't loving, lustful, or admiration, it was confident and daring. And... I liked that.
Jimin huffed but said, "She's not my girlfriend. She is Y/n, my best friend-" But Tae cuts him, "Y/n? Woah! So she was the girl you used to talk with, the whole night? And almost... all the time?"
Jimin was flustered at that but nodded anyway.
"Well," Tae eyed Y/n and bending near her face, said, "Hi, I am Kim Taehyung, Jimin's brother."
"Step-brother," Jimin corrected.
Tae pouted and said, "Aww, but I know you love me like your own brother, don't you?" He smirked.
Jimin was fuming, his face reddening with embarrassment. I wanted to tell Tae to stop but I knew he won't listen to me. He never does. He wasn't even looking at me to see if I was okay with whatever he was doing.
"Can you please go now, Hyung?" Jimin snapped at him but he smirked, "Jimin-ah! I just want to be friends with your hot best friend."
At each of his words, I could see all girls at the back of the room gasping and fanning themselves.
"Please go-" Y/n cuts Jimin.
"Hi, I am Y/n. Nice to meet you, Taehyung Oppa." She said, extending her hand for a shake. My eyes widened a bit and I felt Jungkook tugging me from the side. I looked at him and he had the same reaction as me.
None of the girls had ever been able to look him in the eye and let alone shake his hand. I realized I adored her confidence already but decided it's better no one noticed it.
Tae looked surprised too but didn't show it much. He smirked mischievously and shook her hand, visibly giving it a squeeze tighter than a normal handshake. Y/n didn't flinch at it though.
I seriously know how Tae is yet I felt myself clenching my fist, seeing him stand close to her.
So I turned around and went out of the class. Jungkook saw me and followed behind obediently.
"Taehyung really does too much sometimes," He whispered to me. I nodded, walking slowly with him through the passage.
Tae came running from behind and joined my other side, stroking his hand as if it were more precious than anything.
"Damn, I can still feel the heat in my hand. She definitely can set me on fire with her touch anytime." He kept murmuring things. Jungkook wasn't replying to him- he knew how much I disliked what he did a moment ago.
Seeing both of us quiet, he asked me, "Hyung?"
"Hmm?" I started walking faster and he yet caught up to me. "You're angry?" He asked me innocently.
I looked at him coldly. "No, I was just planning with Jungkook to build a statue of you before the school." I angrily scoffed. Jungkook chuckled and Tae smiled stupidly. "Hyung! I am sure both of you thought she was hot too, didn't you?"
I glared at him and he laughed, scratching the back of his head.
A/N
So, did you like it? Lemme know, please :)
