So many questions were swirling through Syrup's head as he looked at his newly cleaned body. He had been terrified of what he'd do once he saw it all... that he was just a toy for his lord and others to use.
... But all the negativity wasn't towards him. The other's disgust, rage, and horror was towards... someone else. His lord? Why would that be? He still didn't understand why he gave him the time of day, why he spent hours not only shopping for him, then healing and cleaning him... why? What did the other get from it? He held his head, it was all so confusing. He slowly got to work on doing what was asked of him, cleaning the rest of him. His heart beat quickly the more he finished... but he felt so... certain of the others' words. He didn't know why, why he trusted this.. or why he believed the lv 1 could protect him from someone who was close to Queen Toriel's lv... but, he was so desperate. Desperate to feel something other than pain, sorrow,.. he wanted positivity. He wanted to feel it so bad that... he would risk it all. Plus, he didn't think his lord could get here...
He shook his head, looking at his broken and battered body with disgust.
How did the other not... think bad of him? Why does he care?? He groaned again holding his head, so many questions with answers he was too anxious to ask for. Whatever, he should finish up, the other was kind seeming but who knows where his patience ends.

Classic soon finished his shower, stepping out looking at himself in the mirror. His eyes still were a bit red from crying, and the taste of bile in his throat was rather unpleasant. He still felt so vile, full of rage, bloodlust, and horror. ... What was he supposed to tell his brother?
He knew how obvious it was that something had happened, there was no way he could hide that... He didn't wish to tell him anything without Syrup's permission. He took a quiet breath and walked out of the bathroom, careful of the glass on the floor. He'd clean that up later, for now he needed to set up an appointment with Alphys. Syrup's body... god, how much pain, misery, and terror did one have to go through to get to that point...? How was he walking around with all those, how could he even LIVE with those open injuries?? He held his head, taking in a deep breath. He would just go insane questioning it, all that mattered now was preparing him for an appointment, and making up for what that bastard did to him.
With that in mind, he slowly went to Syrup's new bedroom, writing down furniture items and other things to make him feel more at home. He knew he'd probably go a bit too far in spoiling the other, but with the hell he'd been through, he figured that was the least he deserved.
He soon heard the sound of the bathroom door opening, him looking towards the other. They looked tired, but in bliss, his new clothes were pretty baggy on him, but luckily still fit. He softly smiled at him. "Heya Syrup, glad they seem to fit." He quietly nodded, Classic no longer seeing the previously tough, avoidant skeleton. All he saw was an anxious, exhausted, abused monster, who was desperate for relief from his pain and fear. And he was determined to be that relief. "How about you get some rest Syrup? This has been quite the long day after all." The Sans couldn't help but be angry when he saw how the others head was bowed in submission.
"... Bud... look at me." He could see the others' fear as he slowly met his eyes. He gave him a look of nothing but care and compassion. "Nothing I saw has made me look down on you, I..." Classic bit back the tears. "I'm... so, s-so sorry any of that happened to you... I, can't believe someone would ever do that to their own brother."
Syrup looked into Classic's eyes, so confused on the sentiment. "M-Milord isn't my brother, he's m-made that clear... It's ok though, I-I-" He lightly flinched as he felt the other wrap his arms around him, the feel of a hug still so unknown and confusing to him. "It's not ok. Your right, I shouldn't see him as your brother. It's obvious he doesn't deserve that title. Please, don't think any of what happened to you is ok in any way, it's not ok?" Syrup felt tears come to his eyes hearing the other's words, he was so used to insults from himself and everyone around him, compliments made him feel weak and undeserving. He slowly buried himself in the warm comfort of the other's shirt, his soft purrs filling the comfortable silence as Classic's phalanges moved across his skull, so soft and careful of the multiple cracks he was certain he wouldn't be able to hurt a fly.
Maybe that's what got him so much about the other. He wasn't idiotic, he could feel the power off the other despite being one a lv 1. He could tell how strong the other was... maybe that reasoning is why he felt so safe and sure of the other's words. He knew Classic could have large amounts of lv by now, that he could tear him in half easily... yet the other hadn't seemed to kill anyone before. He was treating Syrup with more kindness, care and softness than he'd seen anyone ever do, and expected absolutely nothing from him. He of course was... hesitant to believe the other. He had to want something...
But right now, he could honestly care less. He was warm, clean, and calm for the first time in almost a decade...He only wanted to focus on the first nice feelings anyone had ever given him.
Classic honestly wasn't all that surprised when he felt the other slowly going to sleep in his arms, a lot had happened today. He held the other, his soul calming finally once he heard the other's soft breathing, him going completely limp. He himself was exhausted, the mental pain had really gotten to him. He slowly leaned into the bed with the other, his eyes closing. He'd explain this to his brother later, for now he definitely needed a nap.

Rus waved a bye to Undyne as they finished up his training for today. He wished Undyne would be more honest with him about his "training". He was well aware the other didn't consider him Royal Guard material, he just wished she'd actually say it. But... he couldn't deny that he didn't like the lessons. Him and Undyne had gotten really close due to them, and cooking was quickly becoming a rather enjoyable hobby. Sure he pretended, but he was well aware he had awhile to go before he got good at cooking. It was just rather funny to see the other's lying about it being good as their faces gave their true emotions away. Due to these reasons, he had kept quiet about knowing what she was doing.
He hoped his brother and Syrup's shopping trip went well, the other's lack of warm nor new clothing made him quite worried. He wondered if he should get some fruit first for the other, just in case he hadn't eaten his pancakes he gave this morning due to either allergies or being a health nut. Rus felt it was a good bet, since he was close to Gerson anyhow, going to grab a few Crab Apples. Of course he'd never pass up an opportunity to enjoy Waterfall either, it was one of the most peaceful places in the underground.
Most of it was quiet save a few monsters and echo flowers, a perfect place to reflect, relax and enjoy some tranquility. He knew if he had been the older brother and the one to buy a house he would've done so in Waterfall, but in a way he was glad Sans had that decision. As the fact he wasn't here as often kept the feeling fresh every time he visited. Plus he loved their house in Snowdin, the snow was nice to him, the woods was a nice place to train, and everything about the area in the underground complimented the two of them so well he felt.
He hadn't even realized he had made it till he stepped into the shop, his mind snapping out of his thoughts. He seemed to do that a lot here, forget about everything but whatever his thoughts wished to focus on. He got to shopping, seeing if there was anything else.
He came out with some writing things for Syrup and other fruits, along with a few miscellaneous electronics for Classic to mess with. He knew he enjoyed tinkering from time to time after all. His walk back home was rather calm, opening the front door half expecting Classic to greet him from the couch. Surprisingly not... maybe he was still helping the other. He got to putting away the fruit and picking out the supplies he bought for their newcomer, leaving upstairs.
"BROTHER! I'M BACK!" He called out, waiting for an answer. ... When no one answered he was a bit concerned. Maybe the lazy bones was just taking a nap. He walked to the other's bedroom finding the door wide open, making him worried. Sans never left his bedroom open...
He walked in, scowling at the mess. He would one day force the other to clean up. He called out to him, peeking into the open bathroom. He immediately grew extremely worried as he saw glass shards from the previously intact window, and his brother's beloved jacket on the floor with his usual clothes.
... They were covered in blood and.. What he hoped wasn't what he thought it was. The only thing keeping him from flipping out was the color of the bone marrow, he was well aware that his brother's was pure red. He never would get the sight of him beat up, blood pouring from his eyesocket while protecting him when they were younger out of his mind. Of course, that did beg the question of who's it was... and why it was on his clothes. He hurried over to Syrup's newly given room, about to scream for the other two before he saw their position. Syrup was curled up to his brother's chest, sleeping calmly as Classic's hold on him was calm yet firm. He could see some bandages wrapped around his arm, the color staining it the same on his brother's clothes.
Well that solved that mystery.. He felt a soft smile cross his face. He of course had many questions for him, but he could tell they both needed this sleep. He'd just allow them to rest for now, it was quite obvious whatever happened to Syrup he definitely deserved it.

Undyne was much too used to the Captain's demands by now. Syrup's collar, that electric gate all around his house, the magical nullifying perimeter, even his continued easy gain of lv without utterly losing his sense of self was all because of her. Not that she enjoyed helping him, very far from it honestly. If she didn't have so much on the line, she'd throw him down to the bottom level and let the amalgamates tear him to little pieces, not allowing him to dust until there was almost nothing left. But... unfortunately her hands were tied, so she was forced to watch as he treated his own older brother, that she remembered him giving up everything for him, like a slave.
... No, that was too kind of a way to paint it. He treated him like a toy. Like a machine... It made her sick to her stomach, and despite her lv stricken brain that she long thought was incapable of such intense emotions, made her close to sobbing every time she saw the collar she had been forced to make used on the broken skeleton. When she heard that Papyrus was missing, her soul both filled with horror and joy, hoping that he possibly got away... but knowing that was a very unlikely possibility.
Undyne wasn't at all surprised when he demanded she trace his collar. What was surprising was when she couldn't trace it anywhere. Where could the other have possibly gone where the tracker wouldn't work? Sans of course had spared no expense on it, so it wasn't easy to just stop working. Even if the other had managed to end his life (which she would never be surprised about, honestly she hadn't known how he had gone this long) the collar should still lead to his dust.
About two weeks had passed before he had returned, his expression as it usually was. Cold. Emotionless. Powerful. Authoritative.
She fucking hated it. She absolutely despised just how much power he had over her. "UNDYNE. DIDN'T YOU MENTION A THEORY OF ALTERNATE UNIVERSES?" Now this was a surprise, why had he brought this up? "Yes my Captain, w-why do you ask?" She hated her natural stutter, it made others look at her like she was weak. The skeleton was no exception.
"WOULD THE COLLAR TRACKER CUT OUT IF ONE WAS TRANSPORTED THERE?" She nearly spit out the ramen she had ate earlier. He wasn't actually serious was he?? "N-No my Captain, our technology i-is not nearly advanced enough to r-reach across an AU." "IS THERE SOLID POSSIBILITY ONE COULD LEARN TO TRACE IT?"
Undyne blinked, positive she was hearing things. Did, did he actually think his brother someho-
... Now that the fish monster thought of it... not much else made sense. The tracker would knock out anyone who tried to destroy it, and there was no other way to create interference. Funny that, the monster they all saw as a toy rather than something living did something others had been trying to do, and proving what others had tried to prove for centuries. She pushed up her glasses. "A-Again, before now AU's weren't exactly seen a-as real, so it's all i-ifs." "WHAT IS THE POSSIBILITY IT COULD WORK." She held back a sigh, calculating it on the tablet she always carried with her. "23.4324%" She said looking back at the other.
"I SUGGEST YOU GET ON THAT THEN, I EXPECT TO SEE SOME SORT OF PROGRESS BY THE END OF THE MONTH." He began walking away, the stammer catching in her throat. "H-Hey w-w-wait a-" His stone cold gaze of held back rage as he looked back was enough to make her mouth grow dry.
"NEED I REMIND YOU WHAT IS ON THE LINE IF YOU FAIL MISS UNDYNE?"
The threat was clear as she shut her mouth, her teeth digging into her lip. ".., N-No my Captain..." His face returned to his usual neutral look, him turning back away and walking out.
"DON'T FAIL ME SCIENTIST." Was the last words she heard before her automatic doors shut behind him.
Undyne didn't dare move or speak until she heard his echoing heels fade, taking a deep breath. "Prick..." She managed to softly mutter out, tightly clutching onto her tablet. '... I'm sorry Papyrus, but I have to... I can only hope that you're prepared.' She turned towards her lab, going to her computer.
She knew well she wasn't going to sleep well for the next few months

AN- Just wanted to make it clear that time works differently in different AU's, so while it's only been a few days to those in Undertale, it's been two weeks back in Fellswap.
This is my first time focusing on Papyrus' and Undyne's POV, I really should do this more often. Hope you all enjoyed!
