if it doesn't have tamarind, mango, lime/lemon, or pineapple flavor...

if it isn't spicy, sweet, sour, AND salty all at the same time... 

then its not mexican, and we aren't interested in it.

mexican candy is literally THE BEST in the entire world. if you have not tried this wonderful miracle of life that was send to us directly by the hands of god, you are missing out. haha. well, i think we're the only ones who really actually like mexican candy.

other people (non-mexicans) always complain that they're too spicy.

one thing i have learned about us as a nation is that if its not spicy, its not mexican.

but if you have never tried mexican candy and you're into that kind of thing (spicy foods), you'd definitely try mexican candy. i would recommend starting with something on the lighter side when it comes to spicy, maybe tamarind flavored pelon candy ^.^
