when you have like thirty uncles and aunts, plus like a hundred FIRST cousins.

i always dreaded having to make a family tree for science class bc i would probably never finish it. so one time when i was in tenth grade, we had to make a family tree for biology class. when i asked my mum to help me, she replied, "...ay mija, tu solo pon que yo tengo tres hermanas, y tu papa dos hermanos." 

and i was like "mom that's cheating."

and she said "no importa. u wanna stay up all night doing this?"

my mum has (no joke) like TWELVE brothers and sisters. my dad has like FIFTEEN brothers and sisters (but i think like four of them died already).

do not doubt me when i tell you i actually have like a hundred FIRST cousins.
