"Hey dude", Ben greets as he enters the gym in my house.

"Hey", I return placing down the weight. I let out a deep breathe steadying my breathing, using a small white towel to wipe the sweat off my forehead.

"Here you go", Ben says throwing me a bottle of water and I catch it mid-air mumbling a thanks before chugging the water down my throat.

"So are you official yet?", he asks knocking my arm wiggling his eyebrows. I smile knowing that he's talking about Delilah.

"Not exactly", I answer with a smirk.

"Dude what's talking so long. Clearly you into her. I mean, everyone's talking about that kiss in the middle of the ball", he says and I smile remembering that very moment. Her big brown eyes staring into mine, only inches away. But I frown remembering her pain in her eyes when she believed the lies Bethany has told her.

"I know, It's going it be official really soon", I say and he shows me one of he's wide smiles that he shows often. "She makes me feels things that I've never even knew existed. It's like when I'm around her, everyone else disappears. And its just me and her", I say and he pulls a funny face smiling at me like a girl, fluttering his eyelashes.

"That's so Adorbs", he says in a girly tone and I chuckle. "But seriously dude, if you don't make your move. I'll happily do it. I mean, the girls gorgeous", he says chuckling until he feels my death glare.

"Don't push it bro", I say and the smile wipes off he's face.

"I'm just saying", he answers waving he's hands in surrender.

"Yeah and I would recommend you shut your mouth", I say letting out a chuckle.

"So about Bethany", he starts and my blood boils at the mention if her name.

"How did she get inside if there were bouncers at the door?", he asks and I let out a sigh.

"She told everyone we're still dating", I say annoyed while I do 100 push-ups.

"That's messed up", he mutters under his breath.

"Tell me about it", I return standing up.

"You know she does have a friend, and I think she's single", I say and he faces me with a smile.

"Her names Danielle", I state and he smiles. "Why haven't you told me sooner", he whines and I chuckle.

"Because I never knew you had a thing for Delilah. And since she's mine-"

"She's not yours yet", he cuts me off.

"Mine", I say narrowing my eyes and he chuckles. "Calm down dude. I know you like her so I wouldn't try anything", he says and I nod knowing that he's telling the truth. After all, he is my best bro.

"As if you stood a chance", I challenge and he scoffs. "Oh please, you should be glad she isn't under the spell of my charm", he says flexing he's muscles and pouting he's lips. He looks ridiculous and a deep chuckle escapes my throat.

"I wouldn't be surprised if she ran away from your charm, if you looked like that", I tease him and he places a hand on he's heart. Pretending to be hurt.

"So when are you going to make it official?", he asks his voice filled with curiosity.

"Soon"

"Well the sooner the better", he states and I know he's right but I don't reply putting on my boxing gloves.

"It's quite interesting how quick one girl can come into your life and change you", Ben says standing behind the punching bag keeping it steady as I throw punches.

"W-what do you mean", I ask throwing a punch and he moves to the back from my force. I smirk as he stands back into position.

"Like, I like this new you", he states and I raise my eyebrows.

"You seem more relaxed and happier", he says and I smile.

"See, at first you never used to smile dude", he says and I think about he's words.

And he was right. I was miserable before I met Delilah. I only used to work and stay up late night's in the office occupied with loads of work. But now I never regretted staying up during the long never-ending nights. Because if I hadn't stayed up that one night, I would of never met the one person that I now look forward to seeing everyday. Even if I don't admit it out loud. I'm greatful I got the opportunity to met Delilah Rose .

"Maybe because I am alot happier", I say softly and he nods.

"From being your best bro, I have to let you know that I honestly have never seen that sparkle in your eye whenever you looked at a girl before. But all of a sudden your face lights up whenever she's around. So go get her while you can", he says encouragingly placing a hand on my shoulder. My breathing escalating from throwing punches until my arms are tired.

"I'm just saying Blake. The worlds changing, but once a girl has a heart made out of gold. Nothing can stop her. Think of it as you are the leprechaun and she's the gold. So don't let it slip away", he says and I chuckle.

"I'm a leprechaun?", I chuckle and he rolls he's eyes.

"I'm serious Cooper. Girls like these don't just rome the earth. They sent from heaven", he's words burning into my skull.

"I see reading is treating you well", I state and he smiles.

"Well yeah, girls love guys who use their brains and act all intelligent", he says and I chuckle.

"You can't use what you don't have", I shoot and he narrows he's eyes before joining me in the laugher.

"Good one Cooper. Man I missed the days when we could just sit around and have our bro time", he says and the memories flood my brain.

"Good times", I state.

"Good times indeed, before it's was just the three of us". Ben says my body stiffens at the slight but not entirely mention of him.

"I thought me agreed to never talk about him again", I scowl my light mood quickly strained.

"I know, but how can we when his still between us" he answers.

"By forgetting".
