**Delilah**

I blink rapidly to see if maybe I'm hallucinating.

"Bethany?", I gasp softly and she smirks mischeviouly.

"Like my hair?", she asks ignoring my shocked state. She leans into my face looking into my eyes. "Let's make this short and sweet princess. Blake is mine so you better get away or I'll make you", she threatens her voice soft and dangerous.

"You don't even own him", I spit and she laughs. "Haven't you seen our little moment we shared together on the balcony. Damn I missed he's kisses", she says looking at her over sparkly nails. "By the way we got back together again. So if I were you, I'd keep my pretty little face away from him",  she says and tears threaten to spill from my eyes.

"You got back together?", my voice cracking.

"Yeah well I knew it wouldn't take long to get him back since you a nobody and he's a somebody. And somebody's never fall inlove with nobody's princess", she says her words cutting me like knifes. 

At this point tears stream down my face as I shove my way out of her hold wanting to get far away from this place. Far away from Bethany. Far away from Blake.

I shove my way through the people dancing on the dance floor to the music. Ignoring the dirty looks I was recieveing forcing my way through .

Danielle spots me walking hastily towards her and a worried expression takes over her features.

"Dee-"

"I'm l-leaving", I cut her off and she grabs my arm forcing me to look a her through my tears. "What happened?", she asks quickly concerned.

"He got b-back with B-Bethany", I snob and she pulls me into a hug.

"Wait how do you know?", she asks pulling her eyebrows low. "She's h-here!", I almost scream and Danielle lets me go shoving people out her way forcing herself into the crowd disappearing.

I turn around my legs moving faster than ever not turning back until my body collides hard againt a tall figure. The last person I actually wanted to see right now.

He stares at me with wide eyes, he's eyebrows hung low, he's eyes filled with panic. "You leaving?--", he starts but I cut him off.

"I have to go ", I say plainly with tears staining my cheeks.

My body jerks as he grips he's fingers tightly around my arm, pulling me up close to his chest.

"Can we talk, please", he's voice cracking at the last word but I ignore it hitting against he's chest.

He pins both my hand into he's fists keeping me from any movement by holding me tightly and I struggle to break free.

"No I'll do the talking", I spit and he seems to be caught off guard with my tone but me quickly masks it away.

"I was so stupid to fall for your sweet talk. I can't believe I was actually dum enough to think that you were different and not just another self-absorbed rich guy who flashes money in every girls face. I actually thought that someone like you, would fall for someone like me. But I guess that only exists in fairytales don't they?", I say quickly and he listens looking deep into my eyes, seeming somewhat hurt by my words.

"I thought we actually had a connection over these past few months and it was not just me being infatuated by you acting like a girl whenever butterflies exploded through her stomach at the mere thought of you. And I know I wasn't the only one to feel those fireworks when ever you placed a piece of hair behind my ear or whenever you hold my gaze and we end up staring at each other without  even knowing it, I know I might sound clichè but I don't care. The truth is I don't care when I'm around you. I feel like I can be myself. But clearly I have been mistaken", I say truthfully. My voice becoming softer as my little speech came to an end.

He stared into my eyes and I could see the guilt behind he's eyes as he's brain processed my words. Every single word.

"You got back together with her?" I ask with tears escaping my eyes.

"With who, what are you talking about ?", he asks he's eyebrows low.

"Bethany", I say too afraid of he's answer.

"No, what why would you even think that?", he asks and I scoff.

"Oh please, I saw the kiss on the balcony", I spit and realisation hits him.

"I didn't kiss her, she just came onto me I swear-", he says quickly.

"Spare me the details, it's not like we dating anyway", I spit pulling my hands from his grip. My words tasting like salt on my tongue.

"Delilah wait please", he pleads but I ignore him.

"Wait you didn't let me explain!", he screams over me grabbing attention on us as I shove through them . Tears blare my vision and I don't even know where I'm running to this time.

"What do you want Blake?", I ask almost screaming with tears in my eyes. He notices a tear escape down my cheek and pain flashes through his eyes.

"Your heart", he answers straightward. Wiping the air out of my lungs.

"You were never the only one to feel those insects invade your stomach", he starts and I smile at he's choice of words refering to the butterflies.

"I never and will never sweet talk you but only tell you the truth. I meant all those words I ever said to you with all my heart Delilah. You make me feel like me. And that no one has ever accomplished before. Let me show you how much you mean to me, because you are the someone I've been looking for. Because you, are simply just you", he says and my once painful tears turns into tears of joy.

"Give me your heart Delilah. I promise to take extra care of it", he says slowly walking towards me.

"How do I know you won't break it", I ask. Desperate for a answer.

"I never break a promise", he simply answers looking deep into my eyes. Showing me how sincere he's words are.

"The take it, but please don't break it. Because you're a dream to me", I reply softly. My heart rate rapidly increases as he speaks.

"Then I'll be your dream, but promise me you'll never wake up from it", he asks slowly leaning it.

"I promise" my voice in nearly a whisper due to his proximity. The next thing I know, his gentle yet sweet lips are againt my own.

And that's the greatest feeling in the entire world.
