**Delilah**

"You look awfully happy on a Monday morning", Danielle groans walking into the kithen.

"Yeah, well maybe because it's going to be a good day", I state passing her the cereal.

"And that is why exactly?", she asks stuffing her mouth with coco-pops.

"Blake asked me to join him for coffee tomorrow morning", I say with a smile. Danielle drops her spoon as she stares at me with wide eyes.

"Like, as in a date?", she gasps.

"No, it's about my performance at the masked ball", I state monotonely.

"But I wouldn't mind a date", I say honestly. My cheeks flush as I realise what I have said.

"You like him", Dani sequels and I blush turning into a tomato.

"He's so great Dani", I whine as she stares at me with amazement. Listening to each and every word escaping my mouth.

"He's so sweet and sensitive, but still manly in the same way you know", I say and Dani raises her eyebrows.

"I mean, he shows emotion I can see it in his eyes and it gives me chills to be honest", I say smilling like a fool. "And the way he is with Hazel, it's absolutely wonderful to witness".

"Sounds like you really like him to me. Not to mention he's extremely hot body and golden eyes", Dani playfully scoffs and I smile.

"I guess I do", I whisper under my breathe, bringing my hands to my face feeling the heat radiating from my cheeks.

"Awww look, you blushing like crazy", Dani coos.

"Oh my goodness. What had he done to me", I say as Dani embraces me in a hug.

"You know Delilah?", Dani starts and I look at her. "You've been with Austin for quite sometime and I never saw that sparkle in your eyes whenever you spoke about him", she says as I think about her words.

"I guess I was so afraid about just being alone, that I actually fell into Austin's traps", I say as Dani smiles sympathetically at me.

"You'll never be alone Dee, you'll always have me", she says and I hug her tightly.

A few seconds later her phone buzzes.

"Ohhh that's Zack, we're going to the movies tonight. I'll see you later Dee", she says grabbing her bag.

"What happend to 'you'll always have me Dee?' ",  I ask pretending to be hurt. "I'm only one call away", she states placing a kiss to my cheek.

"You could always call Blake to keep you some company", she suggests with a wink.

"Just go already", I shoo her and she exits the apartment with a trail of laughter.

I let out a sigh as I sit in silence. Turning on the t.v, my stomach grumbles and I decide to order a pizza.

I finally find a good show to watch with my eyes glued on an episode of 'friends', but soon get distracted my the door bell.

Getting up, I straighten up my clothes as I walk to the door.

"Pizza delivery", a red head girl greets.

"That's me", I take the pizza with a hungry smile.

"It's on me", a deep voice says coming into view. My body siffens as I glare at him no longer than two seconds, before wanting to slam the door infront of his grining face.

The door hinches as a foot fits between a small gap, stopping the door from closing. "That's no way to greet your boyfriend after not seeing him for three weeks", Austin pouts pushing my door open with almost no force. It's so unfair that most men are physically stronger than me. It's like a worm trying to win a fight with a bird. In this case, I'm the worm.

"I don't have a boyfriend", I state shooting him a cold glare.

"Baby, what are you talking about?", he dryly chuckles. He's voice deep creating a echo with the amount of fakeness leaking through.

"How was the trip, or should I ask how was Bethany?", my voice filled with rage I almost didn't even recognise my own voice.

His eyes fills with guilt, like a child who got caught stealing for the first time. "Get....out....of....my. ...house", I say dangerously slow.

"I don't know what you talking about", he lies and I smile.

"I'm just kidding babe", I say with a laugh and he begins to laugh weirdly.

"For a moment there I thought you were really mad at me", he says nervously.

"That's because I am,  now get-"

"You talk to much babe", he says pressing his lips to mine.

I push him off by his shoulders and he let's out a chuckle. "I miss those soft lips", he says and I grow alittle uneasy.

"You'll just forgive me again, like you always do", he waves his hand in the air. He steps forward grabbing my hand but I yank it out if his grip.

"Don't you dare touch me", I sneer and he grabs my chin applying pressure.

"Don't deny that you want me as much as this pizza", he says his face only  inches away from mine. A tear escapes my eyes out of fear as I stare into his cold eyes, into his cold heart.

"The difference between pizza and you, is that I only asked for the pizza", I spit and his eyes grow cold. The Austin I once knew vanishing, turning into this cold hearted man.

"You shouldn't talk to me like that love", he chuckles. "I'm capable of many things, and I'm dying to show you what I can do", his voice dangerously slow. His hot breathe tickles my skin and my body shakes with fear under his intense grip squeezing my chin, locking my jaw from closing.

"You'll come back to me sweetheart, you always do", he says

"Delilah?", Coles voice fills my ears as he enters the house.

"Cole", my voice trembles and he rushed towards me immediately connecting his fits with Austin's cheek. The force pushes Austin to the side causing him to loosen his grip around me, letting my body fall to the ground gasping for air.

Cole rushes to my side and Austin slowly gets back onto his feet, holding his jaw with one hand.

"Enjoy the pizza", he grins shooting me a wink, before the front door slams closed. I let out a sob the moment I'm left alone with Cole in the house.

"It's okay Delilah, his gone now", Cole says into my neck as I wrap my arms tightly around him, letting out a sob.

"I'm here now", Cole says softly and I feel safe in his embrace.
