Anyways, I have a lot of notes, but here's the overall arching narrative:

-Sans meets with Asgore and they talk before Sans decides to join the CreepyPasta on some missions to understand them better.

-This also begins the training arch to which everyone (minus Jane) finds out what Sans' magic actually is like when he starts to train with them so they can all become stronger. Probably a Jeff and Sans moment here, a 'toby has abs' moment, and seeing Sans absolutely kicking ass gets Helen to have a hardcore crush over him. But Sans isn't more powerful than anyone, Jane and Laughing Jack both give him really hard fights mainly. At some point Asgore babysits during training, and Bean and Cole are hell but he adores them anyways.

-Flashback to the og group of Papyrus++ and everyone is not doing well. Their comedic relief is gone, Frisk is dead, and suddenly this government agent stops by and is asking them a few questions regarding Frisk. Undyne has been swamped in work trying to figure out who exactly killed Frisk. Then, Undyne starts to find out proof of CreepyPasta. Little things here and there that don't make sense about Frisk's death. Experiences about other people. When the investigator comes back a second round for questioning, Undyne brings up this, and instead of being chased away, the investigator invites her on board since she has the qualifications, saying there's something she needs to learn about.

-Sans is approached by the proxies of Slenderman. For what he first believes is malicious intent, he finds out that Slenderman actually has an offer. He mulls it over before agreeing to meet with Slender and hear him out, and he does so with Laughing Jack and Smile Dog backing him up.

-Slenderman basically tells Sans that the police are picking up on the Creepypasta radar and it'd be best if Sans either worked for him (sans turns it down immediately, slender is absolutely not surprised) or they work together. When Sans asks, Slenderman reveals that he did originally want to return and kill Sans like the rest of his victims, but once he saw him with Smile Dog and Jeff (to which Slenderman points out Jeff is a funny little kid, since Jeff did try to kill Slenderman one day) he decided to pull back and observe Sans occasionally to see if he could ever use him or work with him.

-As this goes on, Toby ends up meeting with Hoodie and Masky and the three get into a massive fight over him leaving. Toby tells them he was always the third wheel of them (Hoodie and Masky are revealed to be dating) and they were always awkward around him and made him feel unwanted, and the bomb is dropped that they both actually developed a crush on him that had put a huge damper into their relationship, and the reason everything was so awkward with him was because they were fighting a lot about it (regarding their jealously over him for one another) and they distanced themselves because once they got to an agreement, Toby was still considered straight at this time so they kept away to try and get over their crushes. There's awkward, tense silence, and then I'm pretty sure they go bone it off.

-Sans and Slender form an alliance since Sans wants to protect his kids in case anything goes wrong, and when he comes out to find Toby, Splendor meets him and basically explains Toby is hardcore going at it, angry style (Splendor is hella shy and nervous when explaining, which Sans thinks is cute). He basically says 'about time Toby gets some', and goes on about his day.

-Then Toby comes back and goes down at it with Sans, and Sans definitely pulls his hair at some point

-Sans preg reveal (with tondra), and Undyne is introduced to everything the human Government has been studying about the CreepyPasta. Basically they reveal that Frisk's wounds are in track with Laughing Jack's style of murder, a CreepyPasta they had marked as dead years ago due to inactivity, and are worried this signals his return, especially since he killed the child that brought peace between the two races. Undyne is introduced to the evidence and after she goes home to think about everything, she realizes just how many people she hasn't been able to help. Then thinks about Sans, and his claims about the tall man who killed the girl, and calls to ask about him. The person on the other line is silent before saying to come back up tomorrow.

-Around this time, they're talking about the third kid and are breaking the news. Sans is meeting with Slender/the proxies to work out plans and an alliance, and Eyeless Jack is learning he's starting to develop a crush. On Laughing Jack. He's mostly like "wtf, WHY" to himself over this.

-Finally, Sans/E.J/L.J form the Jack and Jack attack on Sans that we've all been anticipating. Threesome time.

-Undyne is brought in the next day and learns the whole truth about Slenderman being the leader of these killers, and how he doesn't do anything in front of other people unless he intends to kill them later. Undyne finds out about the slender sickness, and connects the dots easily.

-Sans is brought in for questioning, and he manages to weasel his way out with some half truths and basic lies, saying he saw Slenderman that one day, but one day the sickness just managed to disappear with the help of some new friends he's made, and says he's opposed to Undyne ever being involved in his questioning in the future. They talk outside for a bit, and Sans basically tells her that he's moved on, and that she needs to as well.

-basically just more training, investigations, building up, the neighbors getting more and more suspicious and yada yada

-it all comes to a head when sally forgets to wear her head wrappings one day after she goes outside to play. The neighbors freak out, think Sans is abusing her, and call cps. Sans is out shopping when this happened, and when the police arrive, everyone at home has to scatter but Ben wasn't paying attention and couldn't lie his way out of being taken by CPS as well.

-sans is taken in for questioning after being arrested, because not only was his kid bleeding and unattended, there's some random other kid in his house who was also unattended and is refusing to give any statements. And then comes in the report that Sally's wounds won't heal or stop bleeding no matter what they do, and Ben waits until the supervisor leaves the room before he escapes through the computer monitor. While Smile Dog is working to rally the escaped CreepyPasta, Ben works on keeping them in the loop about Sans, and manages to snag Bean and Cole to give to Laughing Jack and Jane while he tries to find an opening to grab Sally.

-Ultimately, it's revealed Sally's documents are forged and that she's a CreepyPasta when she kills the supervisor sent to watch her and dip. At this point Sans has magic blockers and can't escape on his own, and Ben/Smile Dog can't do it themselves since he's being watched. They debate over what they should do, if they should save him, since it'd be condemning him to a life on the run, and Sans takes initiative during questioning and says, straight up, he's a CreepyPasta.

-At that point the truce between Slender/Sans comes into affect and Slenderman barges in, with L.J, to save Sans. Instead, though, Sans is like "why don't we sit down and talk" to the people questioning him (Asgore, Undyne, and a few people on the creepypasta investigation). Undyne is adament about killing them (since creepypasta bad, killed frisk), but Asgore puts a stop to her and orders her to step outside and stand down, or she's fired. He tells her the world isn't so black and white and that these people (he's admittedly known about the creepypasta ever since he's gotten to the surface, the humans had covered them during the meeting for when they made peace) and that a chance to negotiate with these people who are immortal is the best they can do right now. He's sad that Sans has turned to creepypasta, and feels like some of the blame rests on him since he should've been there more for Sans instead of mourning his children, but also can't find himself to hate Sans. (Also, when Sans says they should talk, he shows how they have the advantage through turning a gun on L.J and shooting his head, which doesn't hurt him in the slightest. Badass moment)

-Everyone just sits and they start talking through negotiations. Sans reveals that he is their best card to controlling the CreepyPasta. That he has a good portion of them under his thumb, knows how to talk/interact with them, and that he has a deal with Slenderman. He also shows how many of them that he's lived with have dropped their numbers killing significantly, and says that what he's been doing has been the only thing working so far regarding the CreepyPasta, and that the humans need him and they need him alive, unharmed.

-The humans and Asgore are pretty smart and want whats best for the people (they're all good people pretty much) and know a deal with Sans is the best bet to save as many lives as they can. So they all negotiate. It ends on the agreement that Sans and everyone involved with him will be granted total law freedom, and that a large home will be vacated for them and that, other than monthly check ins and negotiations, the government will stay out of his business. In turn, the government will get to know where they all are living, and that Sans will do his best to keep them under control. The government is also responsible for providing E.J food. and they have to keep the creepypasta under wraps.

-After the meeting, Undyne seems upset at the conclusion everyone agreed upon, and Asgore argues that this is the best possible solution. Less people will die, they won't have to reveal the creepypasta and cause a panic, and they'll gain far more information this way as well. Asgore compares it to the seven souls underground when undyne snaps back, and argues that how is this any different? And also points out that sans chose his path, but he's still giving people a chance here, and they have to take it, and says that undyne may have played a part in him going to their side and that she has to consider that.

-book ends with sans moving to the new home, and everything is a'okay

Also, I did write a bit for chapter 10 a bit ago, here it is:

Asgore has always been a somewhat Father figure to Sans. In a general sense. He was the only adult male ever to give close attention to Sans when he was younger, and in a way he did raise him. Even if it wasn't quite a family situation, Sans needed Asgore, and Asgore needed Sans.

Their relationship would always be a bit complex. Asgore was still ripe with loneliness after Toriel left, and Sans was fresh from killing Gaster by shoving him into the core. It was a dependent relationship, really. Asgore needed a Royal Judge, needed someone to raise and mentor. And Sans needed someone - anyone, really. They weren't extremely close, Asgore could never replace his lost children and Sans could never find it within himself to think of anyone as a true Dad again.

He's been good without one, anyways.

Well, then again, considering he was debating joining a group of serial killers or not... well, maybe he should've picked up some true parental figure in his life at some point.

Somehow, it feels like Sans is standing on a cliff, about to take the plunge. He knows it might be okay. But it's the fall that scares him. The idea of him diving down, knowing he will never be able to climb up again.

But Asgore is good to talk to. Unlike Toriel, he understands what needs to be done at certain times. Even if Asgore wouldn't understand everything, and fucking hell Sans was not going to tell him everything, he could offer good advice.

Asgore and Sans meet in a rickety old, local coffee shop in the middle between their two houses. It's the first real outing Sans has gone on with Cole along. His son, a little fat nugget he loves dearly, was gently strapped to a stroller with a little rattle toy set down onto his lap.

Well, at least Sans tried to give him that toy. After the third time of Cole looking at it, utterly baffled, before tossing it a grand total of three feet away from him, Sans decides to leave it in the car. Cole is a mess of fluffy hair that refuses to be tamed by a brush when he meets Asgore.

Asgore admittedly looks good. Not like 'time for a fourth' good, but more so... better. Healthier. He hasn't lost much weight, but Asgore's always had a big build to him. Most of it is muscle anyways. Guy refuses to cut out on workouts. He's gotten his beard trimmed, his horns washed, and he has a softer smile. This is honestly the best Sans has ever seen the guy.

"Hey, Gorey, looking good."

Asgore beams, bright and wide, as Sans shuffles up to him. Cole makes a squeak as he's strolled up, staring up in awe at the large, towering man before him. He then immediately breaks out into the widest, happiest grin Sans has ever seen him hold as he reaches his arms up to Asgore for attention.

Asgore always has had a way with children. Most of them like him. Probably because he is basically teddy bear adjacent. He's always had that soft sort of look.

"Thank you, Sans. And you look quite good yourself."

Asgore is awkwardly bent over in the seat across from him, which never fails to bring a snort out of Sans. The wooden floor creaks under him whenever he leans forward, and his horns just barely miss the dangling light decoration situated above the table.

"May I hold him?" Asgore asks, looking so positively smitten with Cole already that Sans can't help but to agree. And Asgore moves quick, swooping up Sans' little pile of fat and hair and holding the tiny thing close to his chest.

Cole looks absolutely overjoyed about this, and they begin the meeting with idle catching up and fun chatter as Cole has the time of his life. Eventually, food is ordered and brought out. Asgore settles with a cup of tea (classic Asgore), a scone, and a fresh cup of fruit. Sans goes the opposite route and orders a big cup of coffee, a fried chicken basket, and tugs out a bottle of milk for Cole. Unlike Bean, who's a hassle when it comes to milk, Cole is easy to latch on and go to town.

Thank fuck. Sans didn't think he could ever tolerate two kids who refused the bottle every chance they got. He'd dust from stress.
