Chapter Two: "Just listen."
Sasuke sighed as him and his family walked up to the front door of the Haruno mansion. Sasuke's mother, Mokoto, settled a hand on his shoulder and gave him a smile.
"Come on, Sasuke. You know better than that. Let me see a smile~!" She said pointing at her own smiling face. Sasuke attempted at a smile, making his mother laugh. "Are you constipated?" Sasuke grew embarrassed and a small blush made its way to his cheeks.
Sasuke's father, Fugaku, knocked on the large front door of the mansion. A few moments later, the door was answered by a young girl with long brown hair. She wore a long dress and seemed to be a servant. The girl bowed in respect.
"Thank you for coming," she smiled. "And welcome. We're glad you could make it!" She moved out of the door way and opened up the door wider. "Please, come in. I will let Mr. and Mrs. Haruno know you're here."
The Uchiha family made their way inside the mansion. The servant closed the door behind them and rushed off down one of many halls connecting the main part of the mansion to the rest of it. It only took a moment for the Haruno family to make an appearance.
The first thing Sasuke saw was a man with large, light pink hair. His arm was linked with a woman with short, light brown hair. Then, he saw his fiancée. His eyes lingered longer than he had originally intended. Could you blame him? She was wearing a red skin tight cocktail dress. Her face had been lightly done up, along with her hair. Even though Sasuke himself wore a dress shirt, he felt under-dressed.
"Mokoto! Fugaku!" The woman with short hair called out. "Thank you so much for coming!" She embraced Mikoto and the two woman shared a hug. The man with light pink hair shook Fugaku's hand and eyed Sasuke.
Sasuke stuck out his hand to the pink haired man, "It's nice to meet you, Mr. Haruno." He assumed. Mr. Haruno looked him over for a second before shaking his hand and giving him a smile. "The pleasure is mine, Sasuke-san."
Sasuke tried to return the smile. "Please, just Sasuke is fine." The older man smiled even wider, if that's even possible. "Very well! Sasuke it is!" He then turned to his daughter who had been silently observing their interaction.
"Sakura, dear," he stepped aside to let her through. "Come, introduce yourself."
Sakura allowed a smile to grace her face. For a second Sasuke's heart seemed to stutter. He wondered if it was serious and if he needed to seek medical attention. He focused back on the pinkette standing in front of him. She slightly bowed to both his parents in a show of respect.
"It is a pleasure to meet both of you. I look forward to our further engagements." She smiled. It almost seemed genuine for a second. It was silent as her words settled in. Her mother let out a nervous chuckle.
"Sakura can get so formal when it comes to things that regard the hospital." She gently rested a hand on her daughters shoulder. "I promise she will warm up to you all. Anyway please follow us to the dining room. Our chefs have prepared a delicious meal!"

The conversation at dinner had been run mostly by the adults. Of course Sasuke and Sakura would make small comments here and there. However they mostly kept their mouths shut and listened.
"So Sakura, what are your future plans for Haruno Hospitals?" Fukagu said, changing the subject for the millionth time that evening.
"I plan on continuing to make incredible break through's in modern medicine. I would like to ensure that we are leading in this field for as long as I am the CEO." She never broke eye contact with Fugaku as she spoke. Her voice was monotone, and her facial expression didn't seem to change.
Silence fell over the room. Her mother and father glanced worriedly at each other. Mrs. Haruno spoke up, "Sakura dear, are you alright?"
The teen sighed and stood. "I need to get some air." With that she walked out of the room, the door loudly closing behind her and the sound of her heels fading as she walked away. The silence that had previously lingered over the room returned.
Fugaku coughed, "Sasuke, go see if she's alright." Mrs. Haruno nodded in agreement. "Yes please do."
"Yes, father," with that Sasuke stood and made his way to the exit.

Sasuke walked the halls of the Haruno mansion, looking for the heir to the Haruno Hospitals. Several servants had come up to him of course. However he declined help from all of them. As he walked he heard the distant sound of a piano. He followed the sound to double doors. He pressed his ear to the door to hear better. The song the pianist was playing was gorgeous. He didn't have the words to describe it. Slowly the tempo picked up and the song became one that made your heart race. Then the pianist played a wrong note, and the song stopped. He winced when he heard many different notes being played rather loudly.
He silently opened the door and what he saw made his eyes widen. There sitting in front of the grand piano breathing heavily, was Sakura. She definitely seemed frustrated. He opened the door all the way, she didn't seem to notice.
"Does this really count as getting air?" He asked. Sakura jumped in surprise and turned her head to look at him. She took a deep breath, calming herself.
"To me it does. Sorry for leaving. I had to get away from there. " She moved her eyes back to look at the keys. Sasuke was glad she was no longer speaking in a formal manner. He didn't like hearing her voice so void of emotion.
Sasuke walked over to her and sat next to her. "Understandable." It went silent so Sasuke decided to play something, he figured she wouldn't mind. The teen played a short melody, before stopping, allowing his hands to hover over the keys. He could feel her gaze on him. He gracefully returned his hands to his lap and turned his head to meet her emerald orbs with his own.
The pinkette gave him a curious glance, "You know how to play?" She crossed her arms, "I doubt that."
He rolled his eyes at her reaction. "I'm sure I play better than you do," He retorted.
She sent him a competitive look, "Is that a challenge?"
His usually emotionless onyx black eyes sparkled with a mischievous look. "Maybe it is. You up for a challenge, Haruno?"
She scoffed. "I doubt anything sound you produce will be any sort of challenge for me, Uchiha." Hey green eyes shone with excitement as she provoked her counterpart in a playful manner, her mood taking a 180 turn.
He shook his head at her childish behavior and fixed his posture. Moving his hands to hover over the black and white keys, he sent her one last glance.
"Just listen."

Heyyyyyyyyyy~ Let me start this by apologizing for the length of this chapter. It was only 1202 words! :( I'm sorrrryyyyy. Also I did most of this while I was at school and as I write this I'm missing notes.
Anyway my motivation for this chapter was so minimal... I just had to get a chapter out when I met my minimal word count. I would prefer closer to 2000 words but I knew there was no way that was happening. So have this very, very, very short chapter.
Anyway like usual, I really hope you enjoyed this chapter. And as always if you did don't forget to.....
