Chapter Three: "You guys will have the cutest children- Ow!"

Sasuke and Sakura sat before the grand instrument as Sasuke's fingers danced over the keys in a robotic way. Sure, it was good, he played quite well. However the music itself held no emotion. Sasuke resolved with a beautiful chord and let out a deep breath. He made no mistakes.

He looked to Sakura to see her reaction, and he didn't like what he saw. He expected her to be amazed and impressed. The song he had just played was a Class A in difficulty. However the look she gave him was one of dissatisfaction.

"You didn't like it?" He asked. She shook her head, "That's not it. It was nice. But.." His eyes narrowed at her. He wasn't accustomed to receiving criticism.

"But?"

"There was no emotion!" She exclaimed, making an exaggerated gesture with her arms, like she had been holding it in and she finally burst. "It's a beautiful piece, written by someone in pain, and in love." She shook her head in his direction. "The piece was meant to express something. And you stole that away from it by playing it like you're a robot!"

Sasuke didn't really comprehend anything she had said. "You know the piece I played?" She rolled her eyes, "Of course I do! It's a classic."

"You play it then." He said. She narrowed her eyes at him. "Fine, I will."

She immediately started playing the piece. Within the first few moments shivers made their way down Sasuke's spine. Goosebumps littered his arms, leaving him looking like a plucked chicken. He had never heard this song played in such a way. Sure, he played it flawlessly. He made no mistakes and stayed in tempo the entire time. But she didn't. The way she played it the tempo and dynamic were all over the place. However, it sounded gorgeous. By the end of the song he was rendered speechless. He only broke out of his trance when he heard a sniffle from beside him.

Beside him, the pinkette was wiping away her un-shed tears. She shook her head and turned her head to look at me with bloodshot eyes.

She glared at me, "That's how that song is supposed to be played."

Sakura couldn't stop thinking about the moment she shared with Sasuke a couple days ago in her piano room. The dinner ended up going very well after that believe it or not. However Sakura couldn't have cared less whether it went well. They would still be married even if it hadn't. However it seemed that now their fate was sealed. They were to be married on June 15. The reason for this? It is said that all marriages that take place in June last forever. That was the belief in Sakura's family for generations. Sasuke's family went along with the idea.

"..aruno. Miss Haruno!"

Sakura snapped out of her trance and met the annoyed gaze of her teacher. "Huh?" The teacher glared at her and pointed to the large white board.

"You're paying attention I presume?"

Sakura cleared her throat and ignored the stares of her classmates. She nodded, "Yes, I apologize."

She started copying down the notes that were on the board. However her thoughts never strayed from the fact that she had barely turned 18 and she was already to be married to the "bad boy" of Konoha High. She just couldn't believe she was getting married in general.

She of course hadn't told anybody with the exception of her bestfriend Ino. She swore Sasuke to secrecy as well. However she knew it would only be a matter of time until they were the talk of the school. She didn't want attention from Sasuke's fangirls. Nor did she need the high pitched squealing of her blonde best friend.

Sakura sighed, thinking this, knowing that there was unavoidable drama in her near future. Drama she did not want, nor need. Of course there was one person that Sasuke told. His best friend since elementary school, Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze.

The Namikaze's were famous. The reason? Minato Namikaze. The father of Naruto. The man was considered a genius. He revolutionized the science world. The man created a theory that could possibly lead to the invention of teleportation. However the development wouldn't happen any time soon. At least not while Sakura was alive.

The lunch bell pulled the pinkette out of her thoughts. As she walked to lunch she was confronted by the obnoxious blonde himself. Naturally he bombarded her with questions.

"Do you like him?"

"Do you think he's cute?"

"I'm invited to your wedding right?"

"You guys will have the cutest children- Ow!" Naruto rubbed the spot on his head where Sakura had punched him.

"Shut up, Naruto." She growled, gesturing to the looks they were getting from kids passing by.

He smiled bashfully, "Oops, sorry Sakura-chan."

She shook her head at his antics and continued walking to the cafeteria, Naruto following in suit. They arrived and they got in the lunch line.

"So," Naruto started, grabbing a lunch tray. "How do you feel about the whole thing?" Sakura narrowed her eyebrows slightly in confusion as she grabbed an apple.

"What do you mean?"

"We'll surely you have to have an opinion on all of this." He shrugged, grabbing a pre-wrapped muffin. "Don't you hate Sasuke?"

"Come on Naruto, look at who your talking to. Of course I don't like him. However hate is a rather strong word, one that I often don't use. I..." She paused to allow a chance for her and Naruto to pay for their lunches. They paid and made their way to a separate table away from their usual spot so they could continue on the topic.

They sat down and Naruto grew impatient. "You what?"

She shook her head, "I guess I don't really have an opinion about-" She paused and looked up, then scoffed. "Well speak of the devil."

Walking towards where Sakura sat with Naruto was Sasuke himself. The grouchy Uchiha took a seat next to Naruto without speaking a single word. Only offering a nod to each individual as a greeting. An awkward silence fell between the three.

"Sooo..." Naruto spoke up, finally cracking. "How are you Sasuke?"

Sasuke didn't look up from his food, "Fine."

Naruto shook his head at the lack of response from his best friend. "You want the work from first, second, and fourth period?" Sasuke nodded and Naruto sighed. "Too bad I'm not in your fifth or sixth period classes. You on good terms with anybody who is?"

Sasuke looked up. "Yeah."

Naruto seemed surprised. "Really who is it?" Sasuke made a gesture with his hand towards Sakura.

She sighed, "I'll give you the work."

Sasuke muttered a thanks and the rest of their lunch was filled with random conversation and small talk.

Sakura had just stepped through the front doors of her home when she was confronted by her mother and a lady she had never seen in her life. The strange woman seemed to be in work attire. This of course didn't phase Sakura in the least, she was far too accustomed to seeing such things.

"Sakura, dear." Her mother greeted her. "How was school?" Sakura bowed her head to her mother before giving her a hug.

"Good," the pinkette responded. "And you kaa-san?"

Her mother smiled, "Very well." She turned and gestured to the stranger standing beside her. "Sakura, this is Noguchi-san. She will be helping you find the perfect wedding dress."

Noguchi-san bowed, "It's a pleasure to meet you Haruno-san."

Sakura returned the bow, "The pleasure is mine." As Sakura straightened her back she analyzed the woman. She seemed to be in her late 30's or early 40's. She was slightly over-weight but she held it well and it gave her some charm. She wore glasses and there was a small genuine smile that never seemed to leave her face.

Sakura turned to her mother. "Are we going to do this now kaa-san? I have homework."

Her mother smiled and turned to Noguchi-san, "See? Such a good student as well." She cleared her throat and turned back to Sakura. "Of course dear, she's only here to get your measurements for today."

Sakura's face flushed. "My m-measurements?"

Noguchi-san nodded. "Yes dear that shouldn't be a problem, right?"

Sakura let out a nervous chuckle, "Haha. Yeah, totally fine."

The pinkette felt her face reddening even more. She knew that at this point she looked like a tomato. She always kept her measurements to herself. They were, horribly embarrassing. Horribly.

Noguchi-san smiled, "Wonderful," she grabbed Sakuras hand and started pulling her along. "Let's go."

Sakura let out a defeated sigh as she was dragged off.

Guuuyyyyss I'm back from the dead! I cannot apologize enough for the lateness of this chapter. It was supposed to already be done by late 2017.. And yet here we are, in 2018. On chapter three. I'm honestly disappointed in myself.

I suppose since I didn't really have a new years resolution this year, this would be it: to publish a chapter at least once a month. I hope I can keep this promise to all of you. Even though practically nobody reads this story anyway. If it gains more popularity I might consider every two weeks for updates but it's not likely.

Anyway, it has come to my attention that on my other story (Is This... Do I Like You?), we're almost at 12k reads guys! Thank you all, so, so much. I never thought it would gain such popularity. In celebration I will be posting a bonus chapter about Neji and Tenten later in their lives. I thought about making it somewhat sad and filling it with feels, but I could also make it very cheesy and happy. Comment which you guys would prefer because I would like to do this for you guys.

(I haven't yet gotten a chance to proof read this so I'm sorry for any typos or mistakes!)

On that note, I think this is a good place to end this rather long authors note.

As always thank you guys for reading, I hope you enjoyed this chapter! And if you did don't forget to...
