"In and out. Breath in and out. Go, go, go'' thought Dick as he quickly ran down the street. It was a dirt road that looked liked it was leading to nowhere, but nowhere was totally better than the place he has been since he was 8 years old, after his parents died before his eyes.

He kept running and running, unsure as to how long his little legs would carry him. He could hear shouting and gun fire in the distance which only made him want to push himself farther away from them.

"Trebuie să continui. Am nevoie de ajutor!" [I have to keep going. I need help!] Dick thought as the burning in his legs increased.

During his time with his captures, he was hardly given food or water. He was their lab rat, their toy to play with when they got board or when they wanted to inflict unnecessary pain on him. Tears brimmed his eyes as he kept running. He so desperately wanted to be free, to be saved but by the looks of it, there was little to no hope of that ever becoming true, which sadden his heart a great deal.

"Mami, tati, mi-e dor de tine'' [Mommy, daddy, I miss you.] thought Dick as he began struggling to breath. All his limps ached and felt extremely heavy to him.

He kept going forward on the road. He glanced back to see armed men running closer behind him.

"NU!" [NO!] thought Dick as he ran forward.

He knew that he was slowing down and that they would be on him in a few minutes, sending fear throughout him, which sparked something. Dick closed his eyes, feeling a wave of energy rushing through his blood stream and muscles. He suddenly felt a rush of cool air hitting his skin and he slowly opened his eyes to see the world rushing past him in a blur of shapes and colors. He glanced back but the armed men were long gone as was the facility he was held in and the dirt road. He came to a skidding stop, scraping the bottoms of his bare feet on the road.

Dick suddenly fell to his knees and his chest rose and fell very quickly. Dick blinked really fast to clear his vision and focus.
This type of thing had only happened once before and that only lead to more tests and pain, so Dick was worried as to why it happened again and what the out come would be.

He looked up to see that he was in what looked like a city, Dick drew in a sigh of relief, he was finally going to get some kind of help. He slowly pushed himself off the ground and wobbly took a few steps forward before crashing down onto the ground of an alley.

A sudden sharp pain flew through his head and he reached his hands up and grasped a hold of his pain, shutting his eyes. Dick cried out in pain which caused someone to hear it and stop what they were doing and enter the alley way.

"Hey! Hey, are you okay?" Dick could hear someone asking him but he couldn't respond due the immense pain flowing through his head.

Just then, Dick felt someone touch him and he jumped backwards and stood up quickly, pressing his back against the wall, fear laced within all of his features.

"Whoa!'' said the red head before him who held his hands up showing Dick that he meant no harm. "It's okay. I'm not going to hurt you. I'm Wally'' said Wally with a reassuring smile.

Dick's eyes scanned over Wally, he seemed nice and Dick felt like he could trust him.
"I-I...I'm..." began Dick who pointed to himself, "I'm Di-Dick.''
Wally smiled and took a step forward but that only made Dick more fearful and tried to move more away. Dick held his hand out trying to keep Wally at bay but then both of their eyes widen.

Dick's hand began to move fast at not normal human speeds but like a speedster. His hand was vibrating and Dick pulled his hand back and began to cry. He fell to his knees and cried out.
He didn't know why this was happening. All he wanted was to be back to who he was, to be back to the way things were before all of this happened. He just wanted to be back in the loving arms of his parents, for they were the only ones who kept him safe and loved him.

Wally slowly moved forward and knelt down before Dick.

"It's okay. Look.'' said Wally and Dick slowly looked up at the red head with tears still pouring out of his eyes.

Wally held his hand up and it began to vibrate just like Dick's. Dick blue eyes widen and he inhaled sharply.

"It's fine, I'm just like you'' said Wally.

His eyes moved from Wally's hand to his green eyes. Wally smiled and reached out and grabbed Dick's fast moving hand. As soon as he touched Dick's hand with his, both of their hands stopped moving.

All of a sudden Dick cried and moved forward quickly and tossed his arms around Wally and cried on his shoulder. Wally was surprised by this but moved to hold Dick who was shaking like a leaf on him. Wally rubbed his back trying to calm Dick down somewhat.

"It's alright Dick. You're going to be okay, because I'm going to help you out.'' whispered Wally.
